Popped in here recently for lunch as I had heard it was new, although I think it may just have new ownership. It’s a lovely down to earth cafe run by friendly people. There’s loads of space to move around and a good choice of food on the menu. I have no complaints about the place really. It’s slightly away from the main thoroughfare so might be easily missed, but I recommend seeking it out and giving it a try.

This is one of these places I find intensely annoying; a family run business you desperately want to support but which is ignoring some business fundamentals ..... •The coffee was tasteless .. like it had been watered down. Costa and Cafe Nero know their coffee and are both just a few meters away and packed out with customers - go taste the difference. • Decor is what we would call 'extreme bland'. • Lighting unimaginative and not helped by the fact that about 40% of the lights had failed and not been replaced so adding to the overall slightly depressing atmosphere. • Lots of lifestyle messages that make you slightly nauseous e.g. "when it rains, look for rainbows" .. how about "in a coffee house look for a decent cup of coffee"! • Scones not homebaked. • Tables only seemed to be cleared when somebody needed them. • Not bothered to take the name of the previous occupants off their street canopy. Now all this is a shame because the service is very friendly, hard working and generally trying hard to please the customers.

went in here the other day(Wednesday)and had a bacon roll & mug of tea, the bacon roll was really tasty (not like some) and a good pot of good tea and the price was really fair. so if your looking a nice cuppa, look no further its on the high street next to tropix.

This is an independent café on the edge of the town centre. We were in two minds about going in as the signage didn't indicate it to be the type of café we prefer. When we got through the door we were pleasantly surprised by the spacious and tastefully decorated interior. The menu is good and the prices are excellent given the quality of food and service. There was a soup and toastie deal on and they were quite happy for my wife and I to split that between us, I had the homemade soup that was really satisfying. Falkirk is well served by independent cafés and this is yet another one that sets a high standard and makes me wonder why people lower their standards by going to one of the chain cafés, fear of the unknown perhaps, which is a pity as there is sso much variety to be had with just a little extra effort. There is a single step into the café from outside which may be an issue for anyone with significant mobility problems. If you want a wholesome, inexpensive snack or meal in quiet and restful surroundings, visit this café.
