Takeaway Seekh kebab was nice. Lamb korma was lamb in a soup. I was expecting a thick tasty sauce that was clinging to the meat. Very disappointing. First and last time going here. Perhaps this is how they have always made it. But not what I am use to.

Red flag when we entered the restaurant, seven o clock on a Saturday evening and not a soul in the place. Friendly staff sat us down by a window and brought menu's. We ordered poppadum's and chutneys to share. Veg and meat samosa's. Lamb curry, hot, and chicken tikka Punjabi masala. Veg rice and onion rice. Potato paratha and keema naan. Two mango lassi. It was all wonderful, London quality food, and enough to take home what was left for Sunday's lunch. Had a chat with the staff, and asked why the restaurant was so quiet, to be told that due to it being Ramadan, and that most of their customers were Indian and Pakistani, they would be fasting until the hours of darkness. £80 including a well deserved gratuity. We shall return.

We went for a carry out on Friday 14th July ordere3 main meals with two rice 2 portions of chips we were told 30 minutes so we waited then went elsewhere for Chinese and chips hope git back on the 1/2 hour only to have to wait over 15 minutes more and no one else was in for sit in meal or carry out. I had ordered my mealto be vindaloo strength when we got home the Chinese and chips hope meals were still warm our Taj Mahal rice was cold and had to go in microwave as well as the choips and nan sauces were so watery the rice was almost swimming in it, as for my.meal being vindaloo strength HP brown sauce is hotter. The 3 of us that had meals from Taj Mahal were not impressed and all said won't be back.

5 of us went for Christmas dinner. The masala sauce had no taste to it, it was just a cheap curry sauce. We were there almost 4 hours waiting on all of our courses. Place was very disorganised. The food was to a very low standard. At £50 a head it was a complete waste of money. Won’t be back. Christmas 2023.
