Really nice, cosy pub and extensive whiskey bar with gorgeous, airy, beautifully decorated restaurant. The young staff team are friendly, professional and go the extra mile to please, very jokey and charismatic. Great both for date night and bigger family meals or celebrations. Food is fresh, well prepared and varied, good Scottish classics. The chicken Caesar salad is absolutely outstanding, as is the gammon steak, and haggis Bon Bon’s. Desserts are delicious, homemade classics with a twist. Really glad this place is so close to home, an absolute gem.

It's fine. And that's it, really. The food is decent enough, but almost 20 bucks for a small portion of pasta feels like a rip off. Never left here feeling full. Desserts are extortionate for what you get. Chocolate Heaven consisted of a big blob of cheap skooshy cream centred between two scoops of ice cream. Bit of a joke. Service is friendly and efficient. I've been here loads and got the shin of beef latterly which was overpriced though tasty. It's okay. But pricing is ridiculous and can't thelp but feel ripped off. Never sure if the canolis at the door are free or not either....

We went here a couple of nights ago for our evening meal,I ordered the surf and turf £15.99 from the specials board and my wife decided to have the haggis fritter starter £6.95 with a side portion of chip which I can only assume was £4.91 considering our food total was £27.85. We had our food in the bar area owing to the fact we have a dog. Prior to ordering our food we ordered a pint of lager and a pint half lager half lemonade £8. We were served by friendly staff can’t really complain about the food as it was tasty enough. Have been here previously but might go somewhere different in the future.

This place reminded me of the shops I used to see in Germany, specialist desert shops. The ice cream was the best I've had in years and reminded me of Italian gelato. Worth a visit, better than the norm.

Gulnar Tandoori is a place we stumbled upon by chance while visiting a friend in Labert. For starters, we had the vegetable samosa and the mixed platter which nicely set us up for an amazing culinary experience. For the main we had the South Indian Garlic Chilli Lamb, Chicken Pardesi and Chicken Biryani. We collectively agreed it was the best Indian meal that we have had in a very long time. I definitely recommend a visit.

Stop off over night from the Highlands, thought we could go see the Falkirk wheel and Kelpie. When we arrived, first impressions was what a mess the car park and building was. Went into the reception area, not welcoming at all. The room we had, was clean but very dark and dingy. Look out of the window and all we saw was litter and bird poo on the window. I thought Premier Hotels had standards but not with this one!!!
