The best restaurants in Helensburgh Central Argyll & Bute Central Scotland

Ordered for ASAP was given 17.40 delivery time, after 2 calls we keep getting told its out to us but not arrived now and almost an hour later

Ordered the £12 salt and pepper box. Absolute joke 2 chicken balls 2 ribs and a few chunks of chicken in batter. Box was 90% chips absolute rip off. My special fried rice had chicken and char siu pork not a single prawn. Won't return total rip off.

Went for lunch but they were only serving coffee and cake, which we tried. Coffee was awful and cake was worse. Really disappointing as we had been looking forward to going there.

Celebrated my 66th Birthday here with family, The staff could not have been more helpful and the food was perfect, there were 13 in our party and everyone got what they wanted and were very happy with the food and service. The place looks a wee bit dated and the stairs are a killer but it was not pretentious and the food is better than some of the other fancy expensive establishments in Helensburgh.

Although quite nice to sit and have a coffee, each time I have been in over the past two months, the toilets are stinking and almost unusable, there needs to be checks done, or something put in place to prevent this problems for costumers throughout the day surely they get done at the beginning and end of each shift!

Lovely place for a pitstop, I had a cream tea, which was so nice. The scone was slightly warm, which made it feel fresh from the oven and was light and fluffy.

Great ice-cream parlour! Lots to choose from! But it's overpriced for what it is frozen water and flavour can't be expensive! To make but it's alright I would recommend this place more than "vanilla" next door 🚪

Oh Dear Lord, a truly, I was going to say uneatible meal, but I guess maybe, if I was one of the millions of starving folk in the world, I would have lower expectations. A bit of advice.. don’t order the steak and kidney pie… not even able to confirm the peas, I suggest you ask for the mashed potatoes and stick to that !

Great conversation I’m from America and treated us like we were from the town of Helensburgh. Let us try a dish for free for our first time.

Arrived for a reservation we had booked, the place was closed and nobody inside. Phone went straight to voicemail. The website and sign on the window says closed Monday Tuesday however locals then told us they have decided to close on Wednesday? Very very disappointing and inconvenient as we traveled quite a distance with my disabled mother.

Disgusting customer service, lady was so rude and unpleasant whilst serving us, would advise to go elsewhere, was there with my toddler grandchild who said thank you, she just turned her back on him and walked away , no way to run a business. Definitely not value for money either. Thankfully everywhere else we went in Helensburgh was so friendly and welcoming

Good dining experience and Enjoyed our lunch,service received from Dan was excellent. We will visit again

The people behind the counter couldn't seem less interested in taking your order. I think I had to speak to 3 people, repeating my order to each, until one of them bothered to write it down They charged me full amount, but only gave me 2/3rds of the food (which I discovered when home). Charlatans

Very long wait. Not great value and not great food. Had been before for lunch a year ago and loved it. This experience was not the same.

Grim dive occupied by losers. Scared of anyone that isn’t local corrupting their gene pool. Would recommend avoiding if you aren’t attracted to members of your own family.
