All orders freshly made, so no soggy batter to worry about. Also, it was a nice evening, so no problem waiting in the queue, exposed to the weather. However, slightly funny, chemical smell from the fish and chips and a slightly strange taste.

We had one of our best meals of the trip at Sandemans. All of the dishes were delicious, but the whole experience was even better because the sommelier was so knowledgable and took our meal to a whole other level.

I had a refreshing cup of coffee and my husband had his favorite espresso beverage. The coffee and espresso beverage were well prepared. We also ate some breakfast rolls along with baguettes. Delicious food and well experienced staff.

10 of us dined here for my mother's birthday. Staff were lovely and helpful. Starters & desserts were delicious. Mains could have been better. The mac & cheese is nothing special and the pizza wasn't the best. About half of us enjoyed our mains.

The restaurant was warm and busy but tables are set too close together. Staff are friendly and helpful. The food was disappointing. My vegetable main had frozen veg in it and my companions fish dish was extremely overcooked

What a great place to stop off for lunch. Great welcome, convers and service from Robert who is barman and waiter This is about a far removed from a chain pub with plastic decor and food and fake continental lager as you can get. The home made steak and ale pie was wonderful, served with a generous selection of vegetables and chips - all beautifully cooked and served hot. My wife had the home made mushroom, wholegrain mustard and tarragon soup - possibly the best mushroom soup she's ever tasted - together with a fresh cooked baguette filled with prawns and rose Marie sauce. Three real ales on tap from the Lade Brewery - again superb. There's even a real ale shop on site. Fantastic. Worth the drive from Loch Lomond for the soup alone. Oh, and less expensive than chain pubs as well. Our best food and drink experience this holiday and will definitely visit again in the future.

We decided to pop in for dinner and we got the cheeseburger and the sea bass. Both were amazing. The cheeseburger was one of the best I’ve have for a long while.

Had the best breakfast! Stopped in randomly and was cozy, quick, and great. The lady behind the counter couldn’t have been nicer. Strongly recommend!

The primary reason to visit any restaurant is for the food and this one is excellent. The lamb is exceptional and recommended to all. The decor and ambiance is also first class and the toilets are spotless. Don’t miss this one we will definitely be back 👍

Lively and charming restaurant. Food was delicious, portions spot on, and very accommodating to vegetarian, vegan and gluten free.

We came for a date night while in Glasgow, and this restaurant did not disappoint. The atmosphere was romantic, the service was absolutely next level, and the food was spectacular. If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would.

Great Indian food and good value. This is my go to Indian restaurant in Stirling . The staff are always very friendly and the food is delicious.

Quality food. The bloke there were super friendly and so helpful. He couldn't do enough for us. Definitely going to eat here again when we're back in town.

Delicious food - sort of food you'd get in a really fancy restaurant but at a fraction of the price. The students are enthusiastic though some of the serving students are v inexperienced which I guess is what you can expect. I'd go back again and I think it's a great thing to encourage.
