Great takeaway all the food was really delicious. good sized portions, ready on time to collect. There wasn't a lot left when we finished. This will be my regular from now.

We had a fantastic selection of food from Rangoli last night and enjoyed it so much we did it again tonight. The portions were generous, the food hot and fresh and extremely tasty! We will definitely be ordering from here on a regular basis. Thank you!

Went for a very different christmas dinner this year with Rangoli. The food was delicious and the staff were extremely kind, will be back very soon and can highly reccomend!!

We live locally and Rangoli is one of our favourite takeaways in the area. The food is consistently good, there is an excellent choice, and the staff are always friendly, making sure their customers know what they are ordering and will be happy with it. The Gobi Manchurian starter is a must have!

Great service - my wife is GF/DF and the chefs were extremely helpful, taking me through menu in detail in person and discussing what options were available before we ordered. The food was excellent too!

Best Indian takeaway I’ve ever been to. My favourite is the chicken chettinad masala, everything we’ve had is very different and delicious.

Since we live in Banchory, we’ve ordered numerous times from Rangoli as the food is extremely flavourful and authentic. As an Indian I’ve come across numerous so called ‘Indian restaurants/takeaways’ that do not deliver authentic Indian food. Rangoli is a class apart and I’m glad I can order their meals whenever I want. My favourite meal is the lamb biryani that I had the privilege of trying and I must say it is one of the best biryanis I’ve had in a very long time! The biryani was beautifully flavoured and the lamb was really tender. It’s very hard to come across authentic, traditional biryanis around the Deen and I’ve not been overly impressed with what’s offered in any of the restaurants/takeaways. Rangoli is an exception. Anyone who enjoys authentic Indian food should do yourselves a favour and try out the meals available in this gem of a takeaway. You won’t be disappointed!

We often order food from Rangoli. Food is tasty and reasonable price. Their samosas and chichen tandoori are the best. My husband likes all lamb dishes from here. Highly recommended. Lovely customer service always friendly.

Come to this place from London, there is no match of food , hygienic , quality , quantity , prices….. this place has all the combination and looks like the chef there believe only on consumer delight. It is best of my entire world travel. Am planning to move to this location . Food has slightest of exactness, javitri, laung, elachi and everything else. Look for my profile but this place has everything which I ever wanted in world, even the biryani had Corn and Tej patta. I asked promoter it’s urgent but he said I will take 15 minutes but every minute was worth it. If you are In northern UK and even need to invest 300 pounds go there or manage .

I have had many a take away from Rangoli, first class every time, the Chicken Vindaloo is fantastic, Great Service and very reasonably priced.

We always go to Rangoli for Indian takeaway. We ordered chicken biryani, lamb bhuna and mixed grill. We (including our family /guests) enjoyed every bite of the food. Thanks to the chef for cooking yummy food. Thanks to the owner for taking our party orders. We highly recommend that you try their lamb curry and biryani.

Mixed kebab was mainly chicken, main course tasted like they had burnt the spices. Saving grace was the rice was fluffy although weird to have shredded carrot in there. Will go for the other Indian next time

had around 15 takeaways from here now how they keep getting better is beyond me. We like to try something different every now and then and are never disappointed. Every dish is flavorsome and delicious. Staff are friendly and helpful when trying to find something new. During weekends order up early or be prepared to wait as it gets very busy!

I had done 3 takeaways and extremely pleased with quality and great flavour , variety as well authenticity of indian food... am doing my 4th takeaway and this is the place to complete your graving for indian authenticc food on cold rainy season especially as the curry warm up body... love the pilau rice especially well done...thank you ! Great takeaway - I wish I knew about this place earlier! There’s lots of choice, we had chicken mango mali, veg korma, peshwari naan, pilau rice and veg spring rolls, which were all excellent (the spring rolls were a bit spicy, the rest was mild). The staff are absolutely lovely too :)

My recent visit to Banchory with some family and friends, we decided to try this Small takeaway, we were surprised by the variety it had on offer in the lovely menu, the flavours were authentic and great portion size. I would recommend this to every one in Banchory and all the tourists it’s a must visit place. Also happen to meet the chefs they were very warm and welcoming, they helped us choose what we wanted. What a gem on Deeside to see we have a decent Indian!!!! Food is excellent and they tailor it to your requests. Excellent customer service and a credit to Banchory, since everything else is closing. Please don’t follow the trend. Cannot recommend highly enough. Keep up the good work guys. Always an 11 out of 10 for us.

An Indian carry out only restaurant, telephoned order in, ready at time promised. Food good but not outstanding, HUGE helpings. Provided dinner for two nights!

Excellent Indian food, we should know...we are Indian. We never takeaway Indian locally as it always turns out to be a let down. But recently tried Rangoli, and have been pleasantly surprised. We have been back for a second time in 2 weeks. For us, that is saying a lot as we love cooking. Gobi manchurian (mild spice) and dal makhani are my favourites so far. Definitely going to try a few more dishes in the coming weeks.

This is a safe bet for good Indian food. Not that there’s any competition locally, it’s way better than the average takeaway. And the service is efficient and staff charming.

We have been to this take away now a few times and every time the food has been absolutely perfect and full of flavour. Definitely the best Indian food and worth every penny! I highly recommend if your are in Banchory or just visiting to give this take away a try!

One of the nicest reasonably priced takeaway indian meals had in a while. Service good and certainly didn’t have to wait for our meal, we did phone ahead with our order (as a result of some of the comments read). Would certainly recommend.

We were going to place and order and the staff member made us aware there was a 45 minute wait on orders - it was 7pm on a Friday night. That was fine as we had been made aware of this. So we went ahead and placed an order. Onion bhajis and chicken pakora, then chicken korma, chicken tikka masala, chicken tikka bhuna(medium),chicken bhuna adraki(medium) 3 pilau rice,1 garlic naan and 1 peshwari naan. The meal was ready when we went to collect it. Wow what a fantastic meal, the onion bhajis were fantastic - not greasy at all and the flavours were spectacular! As for the curry’s they were excellent and again not at all greasy. We all commented on how good the food was and we would certainly go back. The total price was £57- not cheap but cheaper than a sit down Indian and the food/flavours were excellent - as the choice in Banchory for an Indian take out is limited. We will definitely be going back.

The food is normally good. Waited ten mins tonight to place my order then a young lady appeared and started playing with some crayons behind the counter. Waited another five minutes, still no one took my order. Service is a complete shambles! This is not the first time. They really should fix this!

We found ourself in Banchory at around 5pm and hungry. We fired up TripAdvisor and this take-out had good reviews so we decided to give it a try.

We called to get a delivery (drunk) and a miss understanding have us believe they took card and delivered! Which they do! Card in the shop and delivery by taxi! Not together tho, They quickly resolved this and had our meal delivered 20 minutes later, and it was absolutely delicious! Best in town but far and much less rude than the know one in Banchory!

Recently discovered this after recommendation from a friend and we have been back 3 times since.

Very nice food. We had mixed platter, rogan josh, rice and lots of sundries. Very nice service and we were sent away with recommendations for next time. We will be back to try them all eventually.

Takeaway was great, i had the chicken saag which was nice, something different. Tve rice was also nice and fluffy. Will use again.

Best takeaway in Aberdeenshire. Often have to wait a while but this is because the staff are not prepared to comprise quality for throughput. I love this place.

I was quite reluctant to try the food here because every time I opt for a local takeaway, it always turns out to be mediocre, however this place is different.

We've had lots of takeaways from here and always excellent. Lovely people too. Our favourite item from the menu is the Paneer Nawabe Makhani. My husband the meat eater says the Lamb Rogan Josh was fair dinkum!

First visit tonight and was fantastic food , got a complimentary dish for first visit which was delicious. Will be back again soon

If you are looking for an amazing Indian Takeaway then this is the one for you! These chefs know flavour and balance of spices to produce dishes that tantalise your tastebuds. What a joy it is to have this little gem here in Banchory producing food that is freshly cooked to order... there are no pre cooked dishes here! The staff and chefs are really lovely and obviously care enormously about the quality and taste of the food they produce. I have had several meals from Rangoli and never been disappointed.... but don’t take my word for it... try it for yourself x

Service is always good, friendly staff and great food on offer for a sensible price. Never had a bad meal from this takeaway, far better than previous operators.

Read reviews on this indian takeaway in Banchory so thought it must be good. Ordered starters which we have had before in other indians but these were not what we expected but were ok. Main courses were nothing like we'd seen before even though the menu choices were what we've had previously at other takeaways. The worst bit was probably the tiny portions which were in the containers, they managed to stretch both our mains from one chicken breast and the rest with some greenish pea soup like sauce. £35 wasted.

We have had a few takeaways from here over the last couple of months. The food has always been excellent and great value as well. Would not hesitate to recommend if you are looking for a good Indian meal.

This was our 1st visit to Rangoli and it didn’t disappoint. A few of our friends had recommended it to us so we thought we’d give it a try. All 3 dishes were delicious and full of flavour. We will definitely be back.

This is our second visit to Rangoli and both times exceeded expectations. The staff are Very friendly, they help you go through the menu if your unsure about anything. All food is cooked fresh and it’s of excellent quality.

Rangoli has recently opened in Banchory. We have twice had takeaways from here. The standard is markedly above what one would expect for a small Indian takeaway. The proprietor is a polite and thoughtful gentleman who takes great care to ensure that his customers have a great experience. The meals are cooked fresh, so it is best to phone about 30 minutes in advance to place the order. We had the prawn biryani. The prawns are particularly large and tender, and the sauce is spicy and delicious.

This was hands down the best Indian takeaway i've ever had! The food was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. I highly recommend the chicken tikka masala, onion bhaji's and the camembert spinach starter. Not only was the food of high quality, but the chef's were lovely and extremely friendly. Everything tasted so fresh, and I already can't wait to come back and try more!
