Always great to stop by and grab a cappuccino and, if a little on the more expensive side, it certainly beats the big coffee chains! Highly recommended.

Spider Monkey - lovely food - lovely coffee - lovely staff - Vegan friendly. Just in Troon for the day. Always find it hard to find properly vegan friendly places to eat. I had applewood cheese and chutney panini, coffee and the most delicious carrot cake. Yum yum yum - really happy. Thank you guys :D

Great coffee, friendly helpful staff, good service, reasonable selection of cakes. limited food menu ( but it is a small cafe). You can usually get a seat. It is a coffee roasters and their coffee is worth a visit. ( frequent flier)

Called in for coffee and sweet treats, well made coffee with excellent milk and latte art on all drinks. We enjoyed a blueberry scone, rocky road and Persian loaf cake with our drinks.

Popped in for lunch on 28th March, party of 3 with pram. Was met straight away by a man who very helpfully put 2 tables together for us. Staff were quick to take our order and lunch was promptly delivered. Attentive staff asking if we were enjoying our lunch and if there was anything else that we needed. Really enjoyable experience and lunch was excellent value. Would definitely dine here again.

A friend and I enjoyed great coffee (both normal and decaf) and cakes today. There was no pressure to vacate the table and the service was good. The cakes were very tasty. Previously I have used Costa, but having found Spider Monkey Coffee Co on TripAdvisor, I will be using them instead - only a very short walk away from Costa and with far superior coffee.

We were visiting Troon for the night and came by the Spider Monkey Coffee Co on our way home. My partner had a hot chocolate and I had a tea, both were great but particularly the hot chocolate. The staff were friendly, the atmosphere was calming and the prices were very reasonable. We will definitely be back.

Wonderful coffee served up with excellent customer service, good selection of freshly made cakes and tray bakes usually with some interesting flavours. The food menu ranges from soup, paninis and toasted sourdough sandwiches, tasty and well presented. This coffee shop roast their own beans and offer a variety of coffee to suit all tastes. You can also purchase coffee (house blend and lots of single origin, whole beans or ground) and some spider monkey merchandise in the shop or online. Staff are helpful and you can just tell they are passionate about what they do.

On holiday and stopped off here for lunch with my dog on a very, very hot day. The panini and iced coffee that I had was nice and the staff refilled my dog’s water so she was especially happy with their service if you’re ever in Troon go here!

Wonderful lunch here with exceptional staff. Great wee coffee shop which has a fine lunch time selection of sourdough toasted sandwiches, cakes and wonderful coffee. Well worth a visit

Fab wee place with outdoor seating perfect to sit with a coffee and people watch Big bowl of water brought out for my dog which was appreciated. Friendly waitress Highly recommended over Costa any day and they so have a nice snack menu which is vegan friendly although on this occasion I just had a coffee and my mum a cup of tea

If you’re passionate about coffee ,you’ll love SpiderMonkey .. A small independent coffee shop in Portland Street . Fantastic coffee , from their House blend and great range of single origin coffees. Which they roast themselves , They serve in my opinion the best coffee in Troon . Staff great too , especially the owner Simon and Jen they really know about coffee . Staff always helpful and pleasant too. Great range of baking cakes , drinks and food . If you want a run of the mill franchised coffee then go else where ,but if you want to enjoy and experience quality coffee then Spider Monkey Coffee Co is the place to go.

This was our first visit to the spider monkey cafe and we were very impressed. My wife and I enjoyed our coffees very much. We also both had. A tuna panini which came with side salad and crisps. The staff were very attentive and friendly . We will definitely visit again when in the Troon area.

Place is small food was good, service was good , asked for 2 white coffees and got 2 black ones with milk which does not happen in any other cafe in Troon. The toilets are the cleaning cupboard which is tiny. Pity about that.

I had a lovely visit in this coffee shop. Very cozy and clean. Nice ambience. The lady who assist me was really lovely and cheerful. I’ll visit again soon. :)

Visited this coffee house today for a take away coffee. Surprised to have a choice of three, gluten and dairy free cakes. Service friendly and the cake, though rich, was delicious. I would recommend a visit.

Finally found someone making quality coffee in Scotland - not that easy. They roast their own and in two trips there had V60s brewed to perfection. Seem like great people and doing it right - hope they are supported because the results are terrific.

Had been down in Ayr and while driving home I was in the mood for a coffee, and for months I had been hearing good things about Spider Monkey Coffee Co in Troon.Located right on the main street, its a excellent little independent coffee shop with plenty of seating, friendly staff and most importantly, a really good cup of coffee.Will most certainly be back again in future.

Popped in here for a light late lunch and was not disappointed. Definitely the best flat white I’ve had in Scotland! I also had a toasted BBQ chicken & bacon sandwich which was delicious. And my partner thoroughly enjoyed his Rueben sandwich too.

Love this place, small and cosy, but the best coffee in the area. Flat whites are the best anywhere! Scones amazing, cakes go down a treat as well. Staff are really nice and very welcoming!

Nice interior, the staff were friendly and the food was moderately priced (£7.00 for coffee and sandwich).I had a (Vegan) cheese toasted flatbread with jalapeños, it was delicious but I felt it could have came with a side salad as it looked s but sad on my plate. It was also placed on top of a napkin on my plate, which of ours stuck to the hot bread, tasty all the same. The coffee was really nice, I would recommend there house special the ‘cocomon’.Would return, great to see vegan options in little independent cafes!

As a long time Troon resident it is nice to have a coffee shop in town which has a passion for good coffee. By far the best I've had in Troon served alongside a fabulous slice of Carrot Cake! Nice friendly atmosphere and quick to clean up tables. Far better option for quality coffee than the chain store operating in the town....in my opinion.Keep up with the good work guys

This is our favourite coffee shop in Troon - beautifully made coffee and delicious cakes to go with it. Yesterday's selection of cakes included a gorgeous carrot, pistachio and cranberry cake which was to die for! Spider Monkey also does very reasonably priced lunches - delicious soup and ciabatta plus coffee for two people for less than £11. The staff provide great service and the place has a lovely atmosphere - it's well worth a visit, especially if you want a change from the many old-fashioned tea-shops in the town.

Visited a few times staff are really helpful cannot fault the service the best coffee around and lots of choice, food delicious, also take away, great if your busy but want some tasty food to enjoy at home or work, please try this place you will not be disappointed

Lovely little coffee shop, I had a beautiful cappachino and a bacon chiabata. Very tranquil, great service nothing was a problem, staff very attentive. I will certainly be going there on my next visit to Troon.

What a brilliant little place staff all so friendly and helpful coffee is really good and a wide selection of cakes The ones we chose also tasted amazing. Menu looked really good too so will be back for lunch. The cafe is nicely spaced out and very clean and tidy. Would highly recommend a visit

Visited spider monkey at weekend (first time ) and was really impressed with selection of coffee and cakes. Service was excellent and clean and tidy . Menu had a good selection vegetarian options as well. Will definitely be back, next time will have lunch. Worth a visit

Excellent addition to the numberous coffe shops in Troon a wee bit different . The coffee is great . Nice cosy atmosphere this was my second visit and tried hot chocolate this time again excellent ..Nice south side feel to the place .give it a go breakfast menu looks good ..

A first-time visitor. I was told the coffee was fab and it was! We had coffee and a pecan brownie. Yum! I would definitely visit it again when in the area.

Visited spider monkey for the first time today. The coffee was really good. So nice to have a coffee and actually taste the coffee. They had a fab range of different coffees. Hot chocolate options looked pretty good as well. Had toasted soda bread with bacon and avocado. It was lovely. Looking forward to going back.

First visit to Troon. Looked for a proper coffee shop ( not a quaint old tea shop). Spider Monkey is a fresh space with great coffee. I had flat white with two shots and my partner had an espresso macchiato, both were great. The staff were super friendly and helpful with some local shop tips.

Newish café in Troon...so far service attentive, quality of coffee and food on offer good. Pleasant and helpful staff too. Only one downside.....they like their music - loud! Pleasant enough selection, just....a bit loud. Need to think about the impact on customers who are trying to have a conversation. Adjust please to suit how busy/quiet the café is....might just tempt people to stay a while/ have a second cuppa! Troon has loads of café offerings in town, would be a shame to lose customers because of this.

Very nice and cozy place . The coffee is fantastic. I would thoroughly recommend the toasted bacon sandwich. The staff are always nice and friendly.
