Bo'ness Spice in Falkirk

This place is terrible for unique Indian cuisine, I ordered chicken tikka bhuna for delivery . First of all the sauce was like water and pale without spice , the rice was like Chinese fried rice and horrible , the chicken tikka was like over cooked tyres ...overall this food was disgusting and not what I'm used to in Indian cuisine.therfore waste of money and put straight in bin ...won't order from them again 😡

chicken Tikka was very poor, bland and watery. Didn't seem to have any flavour of spice what so ever. Food also arrived cold. Won't order again

This tiny restaurant is amazing. The food was fantastic and great value considering how great the food was. This competes with the best of any Edinburgh and Glasgow Curry houses. What a find. Everyone needs to try this place.

The food and service from the waiting staff is always excellent, however the manager is questionable. We asked for a considerable amount of uneaten food to be packed to take home along with other items. Upon arriving home, one of the curries was not in the bag. I called the next evening and, initially, the front of house handled it very well and offered to prepare another curry. However, he was overruled by the manager who appeared to question my honesty and belittled me, saying "in 17 years, I've never had a complaint about a doggy bag". I would remind him of what a 'doggy bag' is - goods paid for by the customer. The manager then appeared to suggest that they charge for doggy bags, which is outrageous if true. I accepted the offer of £5 off my next bill, but I will not be returning. This was handled so, so poorly from someone who wears a jacket with the wording "Proud to servic our community". In the end this wasn't about the missing curry. It was the failure to handle a genuine complaint and do the right thing. The restaurant has lost some loyal customers and the best part of £1,000 a year from my family. Such a shame.

We (my wife and I) went on a recommendation and it surpassed expectations. The food was outstanding. Having travelled through the UK with my job (before recent retirement) this was easily the best I've had for as long as I can remember. We went for a nice early dinner on a Friday evening around 6:30. Pakora starters were lovely, a nice cheeky wee sauce to go with it. Garlic chilli chicken and the Bhuna were amazing along with the mushroom rice and garlic nan. The service was lovely and friendly and the food was served just when we were ready making it a relaxed and enjoyable evening. We will be back.
