The best restaurants in Scotland

Sadly they have now closed down, but if they ever reopen it’s excellent. (Aug 2023).

Miso peanut butter ramen -3* the soup was good but the noodles were extremely rubbery had to throw away. Hummus was too good

Best food and dining experience in the region! We struggled to find a nice cosy place for dinner in Thurso — until we found Captain’s Galley Restaurant, about 6-mins out of town. Highly recommended.

A very cute little cheesecake shop. I got a slice of strawberry and white cocolate cheesecake and it was very creamy and delicious. Will definitely visit again!

A cozy spot with great selection of natural wines and a seasonal menu full of tasty dishes. The staff are friendly and helpful. A great place for a relaxed evening.

Very nice B&B. Ideal quiet location in the center and within walking distance of the sea. We had a large room from which we could even see the sea. Loving and cozy furnishings. Very friendly reception.

Highly recommend Errol’s. The vibes in here are so cool and you don’t feel like you’re in Glasgow at all - very New York New York. This was up there with the best NY style pizza I’ve had in Glasgow and such good value. The BYOB element is fab too. In total we paid £40 for our large pizza, salad, burratta, dip, and corkage. Love that the burratta changes regularly and the salad was crazy but so good. Service was well paced and friendly too. Can’t wait to return!
