Food is, as always, very delicious and well presented. And the main event, which is a vast array of choice, is devilishly tasty and satisfying. We always enjoy our visit there.

As a retired chef, I do not often get blown away by a restaurant and had little experience of African or Carribean food beyond the usual North African styles. This lady pours her heart into her work and the results were, for me, breathtaking. If you have any doubts about trying African food (one person I spoke to imagined it was spicy for some reason) start your journey here. I have never previously gushed over a restaurant quite as much as this one. Brought the joy back into eating.

Everything was excellent! Everyone at Fazenda was very friendly and helpful. I have to say, as Argentinean, the meat was amazing! Just one thing, We were expecting to eat Argentinian chorizo and empanadas but neither of them were on the menu. The empanadas I could say it doesn't matter but the chorizo is almost important like meat! It has to be on the menu.

The kitchen was a disaster, more than 20 minutes waiting for 1 dish, and the restaurant was not full, 10 minutes later they served it to me. At least they discounted the service fee The pad tahi was good, the bad thing is having to eat it in a hurry.

UNHYGIENIC EXPERIENCE ALERT ‼️ We came to this restaurant because of its great rating, expecting a nice dinner, but it turned out to be an absolute disaster. We ordered Prawn Vindaloo for £14.99 and rice for £3.50, and the portions were ridiculously small—barely enough for one person. On top of it, there were no spoons on the table, and I had to walk up to the bar just to ask for one. Then, the final straw: as we were about to order another plate of rice, I found a HAIR strand in the vindaloo curry. It was absolutely disgusting and completely ruined my appetite. I was so disgusted that I couldn’t even process the event and didn’t click a picture of my plate. The lack of basic customer courtesy, careless serving, and unhygienic food made this a horrible experience. A complete waste of time!!! Grateful that I didn’t have to pay for the vile food.

Staff were not interested in the shop. They were rude, not to just us but previous customers. No welcome, no smile, no interaction. We bought venison and it was virtually thrown at us. The two days previous and we had visited the cafe and although the food was good we had finished our food before our drinks arrived. Would not recommend.

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious, with a great variety to choose from. The service was exceptional, especially from our waitress Liz, who was attentive and friendly. The location is also perfect, adding to the overall charm of the dining experience. Highly recommended!

I came here with my partner and a friend for New Years Eve and my gosh - what a treat it was! It was one of the best meals I have had on my travels in Britain so far and one thing that made it even better was our lovely server. She was so friendly, made us all feel so welcome, gave us recommendations for drinks and suggestions of what to do around the city. The cocktails (we had the dirty mango lassi, espresso chaitini, iced chai latte and mango mojito) were all so delicious - whoever made them knows what they are doing for sure! We got a wide selection of foods for dinner including pakoras, curries and street food. All were fantastic - a good amount of spice to not overpower the flavour and presentation was spot on. Edinburgh is an expensive city to visit, but the prices here were not too bad - overall a very good value for money. Would recommend to anyone visiting Edinburgh! 10/10!

Another delayed couple of travellers needing a wee refreshment. Stopped at the newly refurbished Brewdog - much bigger/better than their previous little island. Three things to mention 1. Food was hot and tasty, I had a spicy meaty pizza - excellent, partner had a goats cheese grazing pizza. 2. A pint of Hazy Jane - on recommendation from my server - I don’t usually drink IPA’s but this was a very pleasant surprise 3. Service - the young lass Kira - polite and attentive, knew her IPA history and happily explained about the beers - and even conversed easily and fluently with my French partner, in French!
