came here yesterday with a group of friends, on the birthday package, the axe throwing was great. we had a small issue sorting out drink tokens but Amy at the bar was so helpful and managed to sort everything out for us before talking us through the menu and recommending cocktails for each of our tastes. overall a great day and fast service considering how busy it was!

Had a fantastic experience in this bar over the weekend. Was very very busy but the atmosphere was great. Did a couple of games which we loved. Massive shout out to Scott, the bartender, his service was second to none, really friendly and pleasant guy given how busy the bar was. We will definitely be returning.

This was highly disappointing. We had a party of 10 and booked the Nolf and darts. The darts was super fun although the boards are squint and the machines need calibrated because you land a shot and it says you missed etc. The staff are not rude but not very welcoming at the same time it wasn't a nice experience. The Nolf is a rip off. We paid £90 to try to play on broken "holes" and had no staff around to ask for assistance. If your thinking of taking a group here please read this review and go elsewhere. I wish I took photographs at how run down this Nolf experience is and they have the cheek to charge £9 a head. Iv sent a complaint in i will update this review with the outcome or if I even get a response.

Great time and well looked after. Games were all good and atmosphere and music was good. Ebony was the best at helping us as well 👍

We came here to play axe throwing, the service from Billy was 10/10, he showed us what to do and encourage us throughout our experience, he was very friendly and chatty and made us feel at ease. We would 100% come back here given how nice the staff were, ebony and Scott were very friendly and made us feel welcome. We are also very recently married and we were given a glass of Prosecco and a shot each to celebrate this, which we did not expect, we appreciate this gesture as we didn’t expect it. We would recommend this venue to our friends due to how nice the staff were.

3 of us went for a 1 hour session of axe throwing. Our host, Caitlin, was excellent, keeping us right with tips, she was very enthusiastic and the hour flew by, I think we would have regretted only getting half an hour

Came along on an It's On Deal, Crazier Nolf and 2 Cocktails. Glad this has been bought by a voucher we didn't actually pay for as the experience was far from amazing. The staff, very friendly, attentive and explained the game "issues" before hand- game 5 does not self count. Move on to the 9 games, plus a bonus game and this is where it goes down hill... Game 1...pink board dusnt light up and the wires are hanging out the bottom. Game 2...seemed fine, game 3... Pool cue head is off and Ur racially hitting a golf ball with a stick. Game 4, the wire tunnel for the ball to go into the steel sorter is bent causing the ball to fly over the floor. Games 5 dusnt self count. Game 6...works, game 7 self counts but u need to hit the button a good few times to get it to work. Game 8....utter disaster, the hook isn't secure on the bull....as it it fell to the floor! And we bypassed it. Game 9 is even worse. The bullets for the nerd guns are broken, missing tips, bent and buckled and half don't fit the gun. You better pray your fit as you need to hop on up on the game to collect the bullets before you play. The octopuses don't go down...no matter how much you hit some of them..tapped on place. Then...if you ain't lost the will to live... There is a bonus round... Personally...I wouldn't even bother. The cocktails were nice, overpriced a little if buying them of the menu and not on a deal. The rest of the place looked nice and we could see people having fun on other activities. Sadly the Nolf experience put us off returning.

Extremely disappointed with my visit to this bar. We booked the mini golf experience over a week in advance, expecting a fun evening, but the reality was far from it. The venue felt abandoned, and half of the games were either broken or completely unplayable. • The second game lost our ball entirely. • The ninth game had broken guns and pellets, making it impossible to play. • The bonus game was so damaged that the hook was completely missing. On top of that, the overall cleanliness of the bar was shocking. We had one drink before leaving because the entire experience was subpar. This place needs urgent attention from management, as it’s completely unacceptable to charge customers for something in such a poor state. I would not recommend it and won’t be returning.

This place has such good potential.... completely ruined by there daft booking system... Firstly, there were more staff than customers... despite this, the 1 bar staff took almost 15 mins to make 3 cocktails for the other 3 customers before serving us.. Secondly, the axe throwing was actually quite fun.... Thirdly, the place is completely ruined by 2 things. There booking system and there refusal to accept any form of cash... We booked axe throwing, that was good fun, so much fun that we decided to stay and try some more games. We asked to book darts, despite the boards being empty (only 1 had been used)since we arrived. They insisted that we book it and wait an additional 30 mins... whole waiting next to the Dard board (that no one had used) we decided to have a game of pool... they then insisted that we would need to book a game of pool on the completely empty tables and the minimum time was 45 mins.... we then looked at other games to fill our time... almost every single one was totally empty... but the desk insists that you book a time slot on them..... the time slots were longer than the wait we had for our darts booking... we then decided to have a drink... after waiting 15 mins for the 1 bar staff member to make 3 cocktails, we bought 3 redbulls, they refused to take cash, again we had to pay with card, we decided to try there punch bag machine. Again, no cash... it only accepted card.. (£1.90 to punch it twice...) Due to the silly booking system and card only, we didn't order any more drinks, we didn't play any more games and after darts, we left and went somewhere without the daft booking system and card payments. We saw at least 40 people leave due to the exact same reason. Loosing this business an absolute fortune! This place will be closed within 12 months... 100% such a shame as it has the potential of making a lot of money without the stupid rules they've made.

Emily was so much fun to have as a host for axe throwing, super friendly and talked us through everything! Told us how good we were doing and how terribly, which was a great laugh, she even checked in to make sure we were okay and check who was winning while playing other games like beer pong! She made the whole vibe feel very relaxed, comfortable and felt like a friend cheering us on (and laughing at our fails)! All the bar staff were lovely as well, best customer service I’ve been met with in a long time! Will absolutely be back both for the games and awesome staff!

My partner and I came in to throw axes for my birthday and Ali took amazing care of us! He was very helpful with our technique and put up with our painfully unfunny banter.

Came here for my son inlaws 40th with family. We played darts, pool, and shuffle board. My daughter pre-booked our slots. The staff were all great, friendly and very helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon and it was certainly different and a first time for me. We never ate here so can't comment on their menu. If you are looking for something a bit different give it a go, it was a fun afternoon and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Had our staff night out in Boom Battle Bar, had a go at all the games. Had a ball and all the staff were so helpful and personable. The man who helped my team with the axe throwing (can’t remember his name, but dark hair with a beard) was really lovely and joined in with us having a laugh. Cass was also very friendly, asking us if we needed anything or any drinks. Would recommend to anyone looking for a fun night out!

Came here with my husband for his birthday night out booked a karaoke pod to find out the pod had been triple booked we also had booked a drinks package to spend a while there that we didnt now need so our day out budget gone and now have to wait up to 5 days for a refund thanks for ruining a good child free day out for my husband's birthday 👍

Arrived in plenty time (15:20) for our booked 1hr slot of Shuffleboard at 15:30. I booked in with counter staff and was told to “wait” for our table. Spoke to another member of staff who told me to speak to reception. Spoke to reception again at our booked time and was again told to wait. In the end, we didn’t get the table on time due to “a rush of arrivals all at once”, so was 6/7 minutes late. We were then taken off table exactly on the booked time at 16:30 as “another group is waiting”. We pointed out we were late getting the table and asked to finish our game, but were told no, sorry, but that’s just the way it is. Not ideal.

Nolf was underwhelming and drinks took forever at the bar. Bar staff need to be trained on tracking who gets to the bar first, many people were served before us that arrived after us

We saw the axe throwing online and decided to check it out! We were taught how to throw axes by Cass who was brilliant at it! Even showed us a few neat lil tricks to try once we felt comfortable! As we had food plans, we didn’t have any food but we’ll be trying it next time we’re in!

We spent an hour throwing axes, taught by a lovely human called Cass! They made sure we knew what we were doing and had fun learning too! We didn't have any food however the there was an amazing smell from other dishes around!

We had our work night out here on Saturday and I think it would have been better had it not seemed over booked. The cocktails and food we had were quite nice but by 9pm the bar had practically run out of alcohol.

We had 45 mins of pool. The atmosphere and style of the place is really cool, great place to hang out and have fun. We bought tickets twice by accident thinking we need one per person but it’s one per group! The girl helped refund the second one and was very friendly! Definitely worthy experience!

Smallest of glasses packed with ice so u drink more.no beer on draught all sold out.. really? The week before Christmas when its Christmas nights out...Toilets absolutely disgusting. Asked to use the toilet for the last time at 11.15pm as they were closing the toilet even tho the venue closes at midnight. Asked to play pool at 11pm was told the tables were all booked out and not 1 person was playing or played in the half hour before closing staff clearly wanted home early Eventually asked to leave the place at 11.30pm... nolf was absolutely rubbish. No information on how it worked.. sensors broken on some of the challenges. Some challenges closed for repair. They compare themselves to flight club with the darts but flight club is far better..

Booking for 4pm, at 4:45 they took drink orders, 5:20 still waiting on drinks. This is a 90 minute booking, terrible service completely ignored

Came here for a christmas night. Booked in for 13 of us. When we got there at 4pm we were told there was a 20 min wait which was fine. At 4.45pm we still had not received any food or drink orders. Eventually at 5pm we left asking for a full refund. There was limited drinks on the boozy bunch menu, however when it came to ordering they had only one beer left and no prosecco. Also ordered a round of drinks which again after 30 mins of waiting got a full refund.

Recently went with a friend over the weekend. Had a great time! Staff are so friendly and helpful. Katie the member of staff helping us was so kind and patient with myself at the axe throwing. Nothing but good things to say about her, she was amazing! Will definitely return due to her service alone!

We had our works Xmas afternoon here today - and we're looked after by Eryn at the axe throwing - she did an excellent job and was really friendly and helpful. My first time here and will certainly be back!

Held a private event here for 250 people. Brilliant venue with plenty of room and activities. All the staff were excellent and super attentive. They will help people get started on the games and kept getting people involved in the games. Great music and atmosphere. Highly recommend for corporate events, we would book again. Thanks

Had a Brillant afternoon last Friday with Work Colleagues. Staff were excellent 👏👏

We were there 24th Nov. It was very quiet but was a great night and were very well looked after by Eryn. She was polite, constructive, clear about safety. Superb.

Went for axe throwing and it was really good, we had Katie as our host and she did a great job!

I went with a group of friends to try axe throwing for a stag do. We had a blast and the host Katie was great. She gave us all lots of helpful tips, which helped with the experience as most of us had never done axe throwing. We also played pool, and there seems to be many more fun activities to do there, so will be paying another visit in the near future!

Had an absolute blast at Boom Battle Bar! The staff were really accommodating to our party, especially Emma who was wonderful with helping out with our booking, games (even though I lost) and drinks. Honestly 11/10 service thanks Emma!

Lovely place really fun. Had mix up with booking but staff let us know in advance and service was top tier they even gave free game for virtual darts. Witch we didn't know what it was but turned out best game of the night and staff took time to explain well. Worth the money for drinks food and activilty alone. Party of 2 still great night
