Went here years ago, just moved back recently and was glad to see it was still here.
Firstly, slight negative.
ÂŁ10ish for a bacon sausage doubler and one of their specialty baguettes from the board.
Probably just a negative of the current state of everything being too bloody expensive to be fair.
Food is hot when you get it, you’d be surprised how this isn’t just a given elsewhere locally.
It’s made fresh pretty much in front of you and it’s absolutely delicious. Cooked perfectly.
The specialty baguette from the board is this like half baguette half seeded roll, it’s absolutely amazing!! Haven’t tried them all yet but the smoked turkey one is as good as I remember.
Guy that runs it is a lovely fella so good luck to him, man.
Overall it’s, fresh, hot, quick and delicious. Can’t ask for more.

I have achieved my Masters degree from this prestigious University of Scotland in the UK, and I’m proud to become a part of this educational institution.
This cafe run for and by special needs young people and is a welcoming place for coffee and cake while employing those who are disadvantaged by normal employers.
Very friendly atmosphere.
Stayed over after a car breakdown and staff couldn't have been more helpful. Had a lovely chickpea and spinach curry and the full breakfast next morning was top notch. Room was clean and cosy with large flat screen TV. Would happily return. Thanks guys
Came here for Sunday lunch whilst visiting st Cyrus for the weekend after seeing the reviews of the Sunday roast. Waitress was friendly and the food arrived piping hot and the portions were huge! The roast beef was so good just melted in the mouth. The sticky toffee pudding and custard was so good aswell and all reasonably priced. Would recommended and will be back to try more of the menu when in the area.
On a long drive on a hot sunny day, fortunately we saw the sign for ice-cream and we stopped. We're very glad we did! A good range of flavours and two ( huge) scoops each at very reasonable charge, we were refreshed and on our way. Thank you! Pity we could try a pizza ( or two!)
👍
This is a quirky little tearoom which is great for a light lunch or to enjoy coffee and cake.
The food is always fresh and delicious, the home baking is superb, and the service is always friendly.
The mismatched china everything is served on is cute. And on a sunny day, the outside decked area is a lovely spot to have lunch and an absolute suntrap.
While on holiday, we are from Lancashire. We found this lovely little cafe. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hot chocolate was delicious and we went back a few times during our stay. We definitely would recommend it. As previous people have mentioned a post office, it is no longer a post office, but now just a cafe with plenty of tables and comfy sofas. A visit to the Priory next to it is well worth a visit. We will definitely be back the next time we are in the area. Many thanks to the friendly staff. Yesterday after we left, the Empire biscuits were lovely.
I went in for a coffee before work. The two gentleman behind the counter were very friendly. Big infections smiles. The coffee was very good, perfect strength. So good i went back in for another at lunch time. It wasn't a hit or miss place. The coffee was just as good the second time. The staff where just as friendly and welcoming the second time round. I think even if their coffee was bad (which its not) id go back in for the superior customer service.
Keep it up guys
