The Continental Deli in Glasgow City

Went here years ago, just moved back recently and was glad to see it was still here. Firstly, slight negative. £10ish for a bacon sausage doubler and one of their specialty baguettes from the board. Probably just a negative of the current state of everything being too bloody expensive to be fair. Food is hot when you get it, you’d be surprised how this isn’t just a given elsewhere locally. It’s made fresh pretty much in front of you and it’s absolutely delicious. Cooked perfectly. The specialty baguette from the board is this like half baguette half seeded roll, it’s absolutely amazing!! Haven’t tried them all yet but the smoked turkey one is as good as I remember. Guy that runs it is a lovely fella so good luck to him, man. Overall it’s, fresh, hot, quick and delicious. Can’t ask for more. 5/5

Without exaggeration, we had the best cinnabun from here that either of us have ever had. Coffee was great too. Lovely wee surprise.

Paid nearly £12 for a tiny soggy microwaved potato, with a pinch of cheese and a bit of coleslaw that looked like it had been stamped on. I only gave any stars because I was starving and eat most of it despite it looking completely unappetising. I wish cafes would stop calling microwaved potatoes baked potatoes, it's false advertising. I have to assume your other offerings are far better from the reviews, so just don't order a 'baked' potato and you might be alright!

Don't recall ever giving 6 stars before to any company but simply could not fault this today. Swift delivery by polite friendly driver and the rolls were delicious.

Great prices. Lots of workers grabbing sandwiches. Very friendly staff. Window service only, no seating. Nice large coffees.

Ordered NO sauce on either roll and got tomato sauce on both making them inedible for me. Total waste of money

Absolutely rude person in the phone . Tuna salad no onion no gherkin no jalapeños . We het smoking wet salat with water . With onions . Gerkins. Haloperidol’s not edible sad because the delivery was quick the bake potato with cal slaw had salad under it ! Not what I ordered . Be looking for the money back as the owner could not have been more rude . They did get one potato right tuna and cheese . Umber do not order from this place more like faulty towers!

Worst all day breakfast i have ever had. The egg had burst in the pan and literally had no yolk left yet they still sent it out instead of binning it. If at home i would have binned it. Bacon was undercooked and unedible and potato scones had been grilled not fried. They were like sawdust and had grill marks on them. The toast was floppy like bread as they had obviously been rushing. Honestly absolutely terrible. Im not 1 to write reviews but do not be fooled by the picture on the site. It was nothing like it. I complained to the resturaunt and they ignored my complaint. I have a picture of what i was sent and just wish i could upload it. Awful breakfasts

I’m actually horrified by what I have received 😫.. the quality of the sausage meat was unlike anything I’ve ever seen, bought it for my toddler but wouldn’t even feed it to my dog! The meat on the sandwich all fatty also. A waste of money. Could get better quality sandwiches from the corner shop & as for the sausage... who knows what kind of meat that was that was sent out. If you’d eat anything, regard this review but if you care about quality I suggest you save your money & go elsewhere!

Spicy Chicken! Such delicious food at a really reasonable price and friendly staff (owners?). Tasty coffee too and the focaccia bread is such a treat.

For whatever reason, my choice of breakfast rolls didn’t show online for the cafe, instead, they made us a bag of rolls and a wrap at their own judgement to ensue we were happy. This was a great wee find on Just Eat today. I ordered a breakfast box with a few add ons. It arrived on time and was well wrapped in the said box. Inside the food was again wrapped in tinfoil around a paper plate. The breakfast was outstanding and piping hot (even the fried egg). 100% will be ordering again. Tasty food, fast delivery, great service and reasonably priced! Can recommend 👍

I really wish you would read the notes, I said no egg and no butter on rolls. I can’t eat these things so it was basically a waste of money. Please take 1 second out your day and read the notes!!!!!! 🙏

Paid extra for an extra sausage and also opted to have two tomato sauces. Neither of these showed up with order, despite me paying extra for the sausage. Attempted to seek some assistance in the “I’m unhappy with my order” tab, when selecting to chat with employee it takes you through to a page which simply displays an exclamation mark. Not only did I pay extra for a wrong order, the customer service was also poor.

They brought me two wraps that changed my life and I'll order them 100000 times more!!!

Very good Italian bread toasties made to your choice of fillings and good percolated coffee with reasonable price. Only 2 counter seats are available unfortunately.
