This is a quirky little tearoom which is great for a light lunch or to enjoy coffee and cake. The food is always fresh and delicious, the home baking is superb, and the service is always friendly. The mismatched china everything is served on is cute. And on a sunny day, the outside decked area is a lovely spot to have lunch and an absolute suntrap.

Great, soup of the day (Lentil), homemade. Freshly made sandwiches with a choice of filling. Cakes were tasty and the next visit will be for afternoon tea at £15 per head. You have to book afternoon tea 24 hours in advance.

Really enjoyed our lunch. I had a cheese and ham panini and it came with caulslaw, salad with dressing and tacos. Toasted just right with lots of ham. The tea was lovely served in delicate tea cups. Service was speedy and friendly. The only downside was that we were unable to sit on the balcony in the sun!

Somewhat bizarre setting in an antiques showroom, but an excellent “wee” breakfast (the full one must be impressive). I asked for a cup of tea and was provided with a teapot and jug of milk, not just a cup. Plenty of table reservations for the light lunch or afternoon tea so it seems to be a popular place off the beaten track.

The toastie was tasty and not so hot that the cheese burned your mouth, with a small salad and delicious home made coleslaw it was good value and the staff were very friendly. We will be back.

Came in after several recommendations from friends. To say we were disappointed would be an understatement. The "delicious homemade soup" was bland and tasteless I couldn't finish it. The baked potato was average. Being of Italian decent my partner and I know our coffees, what you are serving is not. The cappuccinos were the worst we have ever had which is unfortunate as the coffee itself was lovely. Did try and get a member of staffs attention but they were far too busy talking to who we could only assume are locals. 20 minutes is an unacceptable time to wait to be acknowledged on what seemed a fairly quiet day. This was all compounded by the fact you have an extremely noisey waitress that kept on singing. If we wanted rubbish karaoke we'd have gone elsewhere. Will not be back.

We had lunch here today. Great wee cafe. Staff first class as is the food. All home made. We took two fruit scones home with us too, which were just delicious. We'll definitely be back

If you visit St Monans make sure you pop into the Giddy Gannet for a cup of very lovely coffee (or tea if that’s your drink) and very def try out on of their delicious bakes! The bagels looked amazing it just wasn’t quite lunchtime for us! It’s very def the place to head to for a quick pick me up or a little chill out on your travels!
