Lovely little cafe just off Aberdour Main St. Scones were lovely, as was the coffee. Just a bit pricey.

As always amazing food. Great range of gluten free options on the menu and always, always a great selection of gluten free cakes. Never disappointed when we come here. One day I will remember to take a picture before I stuff my face!

Lovely eatery! Very sweet staff, who looked well after us. The breakfast wraps were delicious and we didn't need lunch afterwards..... We also bought frozen meals, which were also delicious (curry with and without chicken, lasagna). It can be busy, so I recommend reserving in advance.

Fabulous breakfast, really tasty and definitely going back. Main courses are also excellent not possible to have a bad meal there.

Called in for breakfast before we made our journey home. A pretty cafe with lovely art displayed on the walls. We were made very welcome and really enjoyed our breakfast which was provided with a smile. We will definitely be back next time we visit thank you!

Lovely wee cafe off the main road. Beautiful freshly prepared food from breakfasts through lunches and scones and cakes. Special shout out to the staff who are friendly and attentive.

This is a great wee cafe serving lovely food. Popped in yesterday without a reservation and they were full. They kindly took my number and phoned within 10 mins to say they had a table (great idea 💡 ). The owner was very much hands on and such a personable guy. The staff were lovely and the food great. It was also spotlessly clean. I would definitely recommend and will call again when next in the area.

We popped in for lunch but ended up there all afternoon!! All the staff were friendly. The food was good, as was the cup of tea at 3pm. Not too busy ( or we wouldn't have stayed so long!) An excellent find

Had a nice cup of tea and a roll and vegan sausage today. Usually this cafe is very busy but we got there early. My friend's scone looked nice and homemade.

First visit but will not be our last! I had Eggs Benedict with avocado...Superb. My friend had a spicy chicken wrap and raved about the very decent portion and flavour.

I am so happy I discovered this absolute jewel of a place to eat. My husband and I have returned many times and when friends & family visit it's our " go to " place to treat them. Situated on a side street off the main street in Aberdour, I feel sorry for the people who miss the opportunity to experience it's delights. The cafe is small and very cozy. Its also dog friendly ( maybe let them know if you're bringing a large dog( Chef and owner Xen is a really lovely guy. He chooses his staff wisely. Every team member is a credit to him. The atmosphere is relaxed. The decor is delightful ( walls adorned with works of art by local artists and crafters.) The food is all made to order and the flavours and presentation outstanding. Today I chose fillet of salmon with potatoes, asparagus and green beans, with a cheeky little side salad. Hubby chose chicken & leek pie in a creamy tarragon infused sauce. The puff pastry was so light and crispy. We were so full up we had to take some of our afternoon tea cakes home. THANK YOU Xen and team for making Mothers' Day such a memorable one. See you soon! Absolutely love Sundays at the cafe, all the staff are always very friendly and the food is always amazing. I’ve made Sunday lunch part of my weekly routine it’s that good, would always recommend to anyone looking for good food and friendly service. The taquitos are maybe one of the best things I have ever eaten

This is a wonderful cafe with terrific food.Xen should be very proud of his business here in Aberdour. Lovely staff, excellent staff. We also experienced the outside catering Xen provided for an 90th birthday celebrations. Beautifully prepared and cooked canapés for an evening drinks reception and a most wonderful afternoon tea selection. Well done Xen. Would recommend this cafe without hestitation.

This gem of a place, located just off the High Street in Aberdour and it is well worth seeking out. First time visit for brunch and we were bowled over with the food, service and hospitality. We would recommend popping in to have a cup of their lovely coffee and cakes. We had a couple of Mexican dishes which were truly tasty. They are able to cater for all tastes and diets. My wife is a coeliac and she was well looked after and if we were able they have an extensive yummy selection of cakes and treats which are vegan or gluten free. Well worth a visit. When we were there the place was rammed, so booking might be worth considering.

Got to say every time we come here to eat we are never disappointed food is amazing by chef zen and the service is so prompt and friendly would highly recommend. The food is honestly exceptional. Get down here and try it out you won't be disappointed.

We had the Thai chicken curry tonight for dinner from their frozen takeaway range. It was excellent and perfect portion size for both my wife and me. Can’t wait to try their Hungarian goulash that we also bought today!

Our favourite place in Aberdour, whether it's or lunch or a hot chocolate and cake. Always very friendly staff and very good food. Had the tomato soup today, and it was the best soup I've had in a very long time. Everything else was very good as well, including the gluten free sandwich option.

This is a little gem of a cafe …..wide variety of delicious food , great atmosphere , quick and efficient service and very friendly staff . A great selection of delightful cakes and lovely smooth tasting coffee for afters. Dog friendly . What more could you ask for . Will certainly visit again !! 😊

Charming bistro style Cafe with a wide range of breakfast dishes to suit all tastes. Wonderful warm welcome and arrangements made to accommodate our dog. First time visit for us and certainly won't be last. Also noticed in the freezer a wide range of dishes from around the world for take away for cooking at home. Thanks for the experience. We popped in for the first time for lunch as our puppy was at the groomers and so so glad we did. I opted for the soup which was broccoli and cheddar with a beautiful side bread and my daughter had the soup and sandwich combo which again was the broccoli and cheddar soup with a ham and cheese sandwich plus a side of beautiful fresh salad and dressing. Accompanied with a deluxe hot chocolate, a fresh apple juice and finished off with their delicious old school cake. Cannot recommend highly enough all the stuff and the food was quite literally 5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟. We will definitely be back. Not only was the at atmosphere delightful but the quality of food, the quantity and price was fab. Lisa x

Went in for a breakfast. Had the big yin . And a pot of tea. Food was really lovely and plenty of it. Busy which is always a good thing and a nice atmosphere.staff very friendly.

The food was excellent. I have been here many times before but only had breakfast, today i was a bit later and had their lunch menu for the first time. I had the chicken quesadilla. Portion size was good (I ended up with a take away box) and tasted fantastic. Not too spicy - just very tasty. The staff here are always cheery and welcoming. This cafe is dog friendly - properly dog friendly - where your dog is welcomed and is served a bowl of fresh clean cool water BEFORE you get served!! I am now torn between their breakfast and lunch menus …… after discussions with staff it has been agreed I’ll come in for breakfast, then walk the dog and come back for lunch🤣🤣😂

Aberdour is a village well worth a visit and this cafe certainly enhances any visit. We went with friends and glad we had booked a table as it is a busy wee establishment which is not surprising considering the excellent food, friendly service and cozy interior. It might have been pouring with rain, cold and miserable but Cafe 16 offered the flip side of a miserable outing! We loved it so give it a try.

Superb food, Hearty welcome and a Great location. Zen and his team have created one of the best eateries in South Fife. The food is excellent and unlike many places nowadays the food is made in the cafe not in a microwave. The staff are welcoming and really friendly. Well worth a visit. But I would recommend booking a table before your visit

Lovely wee cafe in Aberdour, just off the main High St on Shore Rd. Newly opened and super busy. Lovely lunch offerings, great drink selection and love the Mexican vibe on a big chunk of the menu, a little different to the rest of the lunch options in the local vicinity. Super friendly staff and a lovely vibe...and it was warm! So many places just now freezing, which I get, but still - a nice wee perk 🤣 Will definitely be back. Jo 🎉

Xen and his team took over the cafe last year and the cafe is amazing. They will always do whatever they can to please the customer. First class food and service. Best to book if you are going at the weekend as there is always...

Lovely, friendly service, excellent scones, proper loose leaf tea. Definitely one to revisit.

For a lighter breakfast I would personally reccomend the amazing Eggs Benedict. I have it with a pot of tea and find it perfect for a start of the day. The staff are friendly and go out of their way to make everyone welcome.

We were staying close by for our wedding in late August which was being catered for later in the day by the catering side of the café business (For Food Sake). We ordered a raft of takeaway breakfast rolls for our guests but because of our timings Xen and his staff opened slightly early for us and managed to juggle a last-minute addition to the order too. Everyone was super friendly, and the rolls were extremely tasty too!

One of my favourite places, especially for brunch or coffee and cake. Lovely staff and fabulous food with a little Mexican touch. Plenty of cakes that are suitable for various intolerances, too.

Popped in for a quick hot chocolate and bit cake with my girlfriend after a cold water dip to keep us going until our Sunday dinner. The luxury hot chocolate and the Oreo Millionaires Shortbread were both fantastic , even got given a bit extra...

A very busy and friendly cafe. We called in for lunch along with our dog. There was a good selection for everyone. The homemade soup and the duo of salmon were delicious.

My sister and I visited today. I had a bacon roll and coffee and she had scrambled egg roll and tea. Couldn’t fault anything. The girl that served us think her name was Joanna was very welcoming. Will definitely return.

Great little cafe. Welcoming, good food and the miracle of scones-that-don't-crumble when buttering is attempted. Proprietor is never far away. Greeting customers, thanking them on exit and encouraging young staff. An all round splendid experience.

We took our German friends for lunch who are Vegan. The cafe offers multiple delicious options and the service was top. Can't wait to return.

Nice little cafe with tasty food, albeit a little pricey.

Great place for a meal or a coffee. The soup, the panini and the cakes were really good! We also ordered scones as takeaway for an afternoon treat, these were the best scones I had so far! The staff was very friendly and engaged with the customers. A place to return!

Arrived 1.05 met by a member of staff she showed us out table, ordered coffee & scone for 2 , served @1.15 coffee was served in a large mug and our scones were lovely and fresh very enjoyable @arround 1.25 we were enjoying our coffee when a member of staff approached our table and politely asked us to hurry and finish as the table was booked for 1.30 .she then put a reserved sign on the table as we were leaving 2 gentlemen arrive and sat down . The place was busy but that is no excuse they should have refused admission at the beginning to save embarrassment. Won’t recommend

Really tasty food. Soup could have been a a little bit hotter but it was so tasty no deducted. The coffee was spot on. Staff very friendly.

Everything about this place is brilliant

My favourite ever avocado toast ever(£7.50), some great flavours going on. Also had a lovely hot chocolate and raspberry and white choc blondie.

Great place, great food, staff attentive. Management friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be back soon. Well done.
