The best restaurants in South Eastern NI

Fantastic. Gorgeous food, beautiful surroundings, and really friendly staff.

We very much enjoyed dinner at this cosy place with friendly staff and excellent food. Our dinner included an absolutely delicious mackerel and an outstanding burger. They were so kind to exchange fries for a side salad on our request. We enjoyed non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails.

Called in for a quick bite with a friend after a walk at Scrabo. They have a good selection to choose from and prices are ok, not cheap, but not overly expensive either. Service friendly though a bit laid back (ie slow). Would call in again if we're nearby.

Now, really only a restaurant/ coffee stop, the pottery seems to have been cut back. Some pieces we wanted are no longer available.

Decent food and service but pricey, very pricey. Nearly £30 for two toasties, a club sandwich and three beverages. £1.50 for a dip!

My favourite Indian food takeaway in Comber and Ards area. Friendly staff and reasonably priced. The decor in the dining area of the restaurant is basic but the food more than makes up for it. There is no corkage charge for our own wine so it is a very reasonably priced dining experience. I have always received a small complimentary Bailey's each time I have dined there. Looking forward to my next visit with friends

Do not pay any attention to the minority of bad reviews! This restaurant is excellent, I would say, one of the best in Belfast. A young dedicated staff, great attention to detail, very accomodating and the food is AMAZING !!!

Stopped here after coming across from Downpatrick via the ferry. We were so pleased that we did, we both had a fry up. One of the best we have ever had in a cafe. Service was quick, no grease on the plate and thoroughly enjoyable. Lovely pot of tea as well. Michelle, who was in charge couldn’t have been more helpful, even though she had a very busy cafe. Top marks girls for a lovely meal for two very hungry clients.

Online menu not set out clearly....ordered chicken tikka kebab which says comes with naan or chips. Ordered 2...one with naan and one chip. But both kebab are served with naan as standard. Not clear from online menu. Also ordered dips which are meant to be also included with kebab...yet none were delivered. Other than that food was good

Worst service attitude. Very bad experience. Will never recommend or visit again.

Update (21-10-2024): smashing restaurant. I've come to really love this restaurant. As far as prices go it's very fair given how expensive things are everywhere these days. Tried the fish for a change and it was absolutely excellent, really lovely! Staff are attentive enough but not overly so, which is great. I booked as I always prefer doing so but on a night like a Monday it's probably not necessary. It's becoming a regular for me as Lisburn hasn't got much else for dinner options. Highly recommended! Great food (pizza in particular) and great staff. Service can be a bit slow when busy and it is on the expensive side, however I still really enjoyed it. Highly recommended!
