Great pub. Attended gig in back function room. Staff are great.

Really friendly staff and customers alike, has 3 separate sections, the first is the main bar the a lounge and the final section is the pool/live entertainment room.

Nice wee local pub friendly staff . Bit of music on most Saturday nights not every week drink prices are reasonable. Function room available

Quiet bar with music nights Thursday and Saturday.this Saturday cancer fund raiser,major acts £10 in. All proceeds to cancer funding through entrance and raffles.lea headley, keyboards from scriti politi, two piece from Dublin , finish off with five piece band.

Fantastic local pub with great Guinness. Good venue out the back. Saw the Headchargers there during a local festival. Brilliant. Staff and patrons were friendly and welcoming.

Went to a music gig here which was excellent! The room at the back had a full bar with seating which was mostly stools with some bench seating which luckily was comfortable. Packed front bar! Food available which we didn’t have but full Sunday roast dinner looked good!

Me gusta venir aquí con mi mejor amigo. Antes de irme a la uni, Él me trajo aquí para unos tragos y un juego de billar. Me encanta cómo la mesa de billar está en una habitación separada, lejos del bar principal. La jukebox es un bonito detalle. Hay un sentimiento de "comunidad" en el bar ya que es la misma gente que lo más probable es que encuentre. Es bueno que la hiedra ofrece diferentes actividades tales como el club de la guitarra y el club de la cámara que permite a los miembros para aventurarte fuera del pub en el mundo! Marty es siempre muy amable y buscando un chat!

Si te gusta llena bares tosco, este es el lugar para ti, utilizado por la mayoría como un punto de saltar o para bebedores en serio, pero me quedé agradablemente sorprendido por el asador el domingo. Normalmente tienen música en vivo tocando en el fin de semana.

Eating area a bit noisy & not condusive to enjoying a meal Steak ordered medium came well done & pepper sauce was very watery, but tasty. On the plus side they serve locally brewed ales that are very tasty

Such a nice little pub. An amazing friendly atmosphere. I was made to feel very welcome. This is your typical "local". Thursday nights (and the odd Sunday) seem to hold guitar / sing nights. The craic is great!

We had a brilliant evening in the back room for a family gathering. Marty and the staff were outstanding. Definitely one of the spots to get a local experience.

The bar itself is a bit of a strange shape, as if it was built into a cave or something. The staff however are pleasant and the private room we had booked was adequate. The drinks, however, are very pricy.

The ivy is a rock set bar. Lots of suport for music acts. From blues to metal accoustic to electric folk metal.metal metal death metal.rock music.
