Beautiful food, fantastic staff. Everything was so tasty. Place is spotless. Was driving past on way home from MOT centre, glad I stopped. We will definitely be back again. Good day all round 😊

Really not impressed. We arrived and were taken to a table that had not been wiped down from the previous customers - still biscuit wrappers on the corner of the table. The staff members came down to us immediately after seating us and asked if we were ready to order. We had to send them away 4 times in 5 minutes before we were ready to order. Menus were hard to read. I ordered the Caesar salad with no tomatoes (shouldn't be tomatoes in a Caesar!) and it arrived full of red onions - an ingredient that doesn't belong n Caesar and a vegetable that I cannot eat. This was not mentioned on the menu. Coffees were aesthetically pleasing, but the latte was cold. Will not recommend this place.

The coziest little place in Downpatrick. We were four and ordered the large fry (shared between two) and one Queen Bee panini and one Stinger panini. Everything was absolutely delicious. We enjoyed every bit of it. Cappuccino was excellent, and staff was very nice and friendly too. Prices are really good and reasonable. Highly recommended.😍🤩🙌🏼

Great wee find, we had 2 fry's and I have to say they were excellent. Nothing was a problem for the staff, all very helpful and on the ball with service. They obviously care about their regular customers as they were checking about hospital appointments and we're they ok to get there. Will definitely be back, well done all

Brilliant service, lovely food. Costs more than some places but you certainly get value for money in terms of portions, quality and service. Kids are also well taken care of.

Went in with a friend not knowing how good the food would and it turned out to be one of best breakfasts I have ever had so we will be back.

Can never go wrong with the Bizzy Bee. Its basic food, nothing fancy, but a menu with lots of choice. Prices are very reasonable too. I frequent here often and always come away a satisfied customer. Good reliable service and food that never lets you down! Staff are also prompt and quick to come and take your order without leaving you sitting for long.

Was always apprehensive going in so I always put it off until today .. Wow pleasantly surprised its bigger than it looks. Greated by friendly staff and ordered the 4 egg omelette with a cappuccino. Wow so filling so tasty I will be a regular. Busy busy busy bistro so allow for this and be patient.

I know there is an energy crisis at present but they really should cook the food properly rather than saving on gas. Raw eggs, raw bacon and sausages that where just given a look at the pan. All this and very expensive for all you got. Worst fry in Co Down by a long way. Pancakes are also exceptionally poor. Tasted of metal!!!!! Oh and staff could smile a bit and learn some manner’s. Poor service.

Had lunch of Scampi and chips with salad , good size portions and food freshly cooked no comparison to any local restaurants, service very good, and friendly atmosphere.... Highly recommended

Great wee spot ! Although they were busy, their service was excellent and the food also. Even gave my toddler a kinder bar when leaving which he was super happy about. Definitely be back :-)

Took my mum for lunch today, she had a chicken ceasar salad bowl and really enjoyed it, was able to take home what she couldn't eat, the service was 1st class and staff couldn't do enough for you.

It was our first visit and what an unexpected delight! We all had frys, I was served the most beautiful flat white and the staff were really friendly and couldn’t have been more attentive from we walked through the door. We’ll definitely be back. :)

Nothing beats homemade steak pie complete with golden brown flaky pastry and a rich filling. Absolutely delicious 😊

The owners and staff are always friendly and helpful. The food is good portions, great variety and very reasonably priced. Family and wheelchair friendly.

The place and the menu looked very nice. We went for lunch and ordered 3 panini‘s with different kinds of bread that appeared very good. When we received them we were very disappointed, panini were very dry with few crisps on the side of the plate, we didn’t enjoy it at all

Really nice breakfast to set us on our way to a few days break. Had pancakes (lovely), an excellent omelette and 2 fries. V good service and v reasonable all round. Well done!

We walked into the cafe and after a moment of trying to make eyecontact with staff we just sat ourselves down. No one came over to us.

Great service couldn’t have been any kinder. Homemade burger special was indeed special. Also high quality mustard.

Any time my family visit Downpatrick, a visit to the Bizzy Bee is a must. We had to wait a bit longer than usual for food today, but that’s only because the place is always full of people, and probably because what we ordered took longer to cook...Obviously we aren’t the only people to enjoy the great food and lovely staff. And our chicken, chips and stuffing was well worth the wait

Was excellent the first visit but was let down the second time when we got served our food and the staff completley forgot the childs meal. Plus their milkshakes are just flavoured milk.

Very impressed with this great little bistro. The food is excellent, portions are large, the coffee is fantastic ( yes, I’m a Australian and we are known to be some what of coffee snobs ) I just couldn’t fault it. The service was very quick and the wait staff are very helpful and friendly. Definitely worth a visit.

The Best place in County Down for a nice fry up also does all kids off out her food, also would recommend their coffee.ALL staff are a great bunch off people all very friendly

Went to bizzy bee today for a treat had the scampi and chips recommended by the owner it's was the nicest scampi I've had in years my wife had a burger and chips as many cups of tea as we wanted staff very friendly it's great to see the owners there to doing there part to help well run ship will be back again thanks bizzy bee

Call to the bizzy bee on Wednesday thought just to call at the side part as the cafe part was full the young fellow whom served us made mistakes was charging £8 odds for two children's meals was not pleased at the service at all got home my husband took the battered sausage the batter was like rubber I took the chicken nuggets there was too much salt in the batter couldn't eat them and as for the gravy it tasted like someone just poured hot water over gravy granules poor poor

Cafetería agradable con un montón de asientos espacio interior y un par de mesas y sillas fuera. Nuestro club ciclo llegó a aproximadamente medio día y sólo habían dos bollos izquierda y para ser sincero no parecían tener mucho más ofrecernos galletas como alternativa. Luego rescató la situación cocinando nosotros tortitas recién hechas en el gridle :-)

Passing through Downpatrick and was hungry for breakfast somewhere quick and handy. Had the poached eggs and toast and it was lovely. Fast friendly service. Tables are basic almost like a sit in chippy but the place is clean so would recommend.

Food ok. Good value. Latte was good. But service was terrible. Slow and disorganised. They forgot our drinks which we eventually got after finishing our food, but only cause we asked for them again. The waiter flirting with the waitress behind the counter, and two ladies chatting and drinking coffee in front of the coffee machine instead of preparing our lattes HAHAHA... how classic. We made the mistake of asking for buns after which took another 5 minutes to come all the way from the counter 50cm away from us.

It is nice to call in after shopping either for a coffee or alight meal. The salads are excellent and they also cater for people who attend diet clubs . They are child friendly and deliver a good child's menu.if you are about Downpatrick call in for a delicious treat

We visited this cafe before the parade on March 17th.I grabbed a burger and a coffee. It was rather bland like cardboard. They added a couple of dozen chips on side. Prices was average.My friend had pancake stack which was 3 pancakes with syrup and synthetic cream and coffee. For him he enjoyed it but it looked very sweet.I think the place is very clean and tidy. But daft you have to wait to be seated by one girl then wait on another to take order.However it's a decent chippy serving dinners also. I would try again some day if in area.

I have regular healthy breakfasts ( slimming world friendly) in this nice cafe. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Love The Bizzy Bee Bistro! It is always thriving which just shows how great it is! The service is always speedy and friendly. Collette and all the other girls are lovely, always stopping for a quick chat. The food is amazing. Not a nasty greasy fry but a nice clean tasty fry. If you havn't tried it yet, you are missing out!

Absolutely amazing frys and the curry is unreal ! Definitely worth a try u won't be disappointed!!! They r always updating the menu! The new breakfast wrap is amazing

Not a bad place, not outstanding. It does not give a 'good feel' when you walk in. Food is 'average' in terms of both taste and price.

It is what it is, a buzy Cafe/Bistro, if your looking for a good ulster fry and some chips on the plate too ! Then this is the place for you.other decent meals are also available which are just as satasfying and tasty, prices are not extreme or unreasnonable!

Give the busy bee a second try after a poor first experience and was very disappointed again.The food for all there was on the plate was ok just very little of it the service was very dry and the price was high for all that I had gotten. Definitely will never be back.

We stumbled on this place while looking for a place to have breakfast around 9:30 am - most of the places in Downpatrick open post 10 am !!The bistro has a nice feel, is quite spacious and, includes outside seating as well. We ordered omelettes, scrambled eggs and coffees. The food was fresh, tasty with seriously good portions ! I would especially recommend their mocha coffee - absolutely delightful. Prices are not expensive and the service is commendable too.

I dined here recently and all I can say is the waitress who served me was top drawer^^^^ on looks and in doing her job firstly I had the fry which if I do say so myself was close to perfect an when I say close (mines are perfect) but overall absolute beaut........Giv it a try if ur in this part of the world .....:)
