The best restaurants in Castlereagh South Eastern NI

Had a very tasty snack here today, chicken , peppers, onion, sweet chilli, on a crusty roll, topped with melted cheese 🧀. Was scrumptious! Very fast, friendly service, will be back again if in the area ! 💯

Family trip for Mother’s Day, food was excellent, atmosphere was great, very relaxed, staff were faultless in their service and attitude!

4 of us went, and not one of us was impressed. The chicken tikka was no different than ordinary chicken. It was all a bit bland, really. They count the poppadoms. The beer was good.

Lovely food as always! Thank you so much! I love my rice separate and they ALWAYS accommodate me! Their crunchy veg with the meal is one of my favourite parts. I could eat a bucket load of it.

Visited here for lunch and it was beautiful. Great selection to choose from. Something light or something more substantial.

First time here. Great food, service 👌 We've been several times now both in Dundonald and Bangor, and both were great.

Everything good apart from the portion. Paid £4.60 for a chip and the portion was ridiculous. Sorry but you won't be seeing me again in a hurry. I'd hate to imagine what a small chip looks like.

Absolutely stunning birthday cake, made exactly how I requested it. Such attention to detail and just delicious, it was perfect! (FAO: edible daisies added by myself, not included in order)

I have been trying to ring them all day to try get food for me and my little brother as we were hungry, I've been ringing from half four and no answer. Your always struggling to answer your phones when trying to place a order, food is always nice just wish you would make it easier to ring you guys.

I only discovered this hidden gem with an online search. We loved it! Quirky wee place with friendly staff and properly good coffee. My husband loved the toasted scone and my caramel square was exactly how I remembered them!

Found myself with an hour to kill so stopped in for lunch. Really friendly staff and my food was delicious. Icing on the cake was the lovely coffee afterwards and the most delicious homemade traybakes! A hidden gem!

We phoned the restaurant at around 1730 and were told that it would be a good time to come up. We arrived at 1750 walked into the reception area. My wife and 6 year old granddaughter were with me.There were 2 couples standing inside so we stood behind them there was a girl in the kitchen area to the left. A girl pouring and putting some drinks on a tray. Seated just to our right was a guy in a Hydro t shirt talking to a couple who were seated in front of him. No one spoke to us. Another man can in asked the 4 people in front of us what they were in for 2 said the spa and he took them away. We said food and he said go on in. We went into the restaurant one table had a family of 5 at it. They had drinks and were waiting for food.The girl who was putting drinks on a tray came in spoke to this family and went out again. She neither acknowledged our presence or said anything. I got up after 5 more minutes and got menus from the reception area.. This girl was behind the bar again. I took them back to my table. At no time did any speak to us in the restaurant. At 1820 we got up and left the restaurant. As I was going out the door the guy in the Hydro tee shirt asked if we were going. I asked if they were short staffed as the service was terrible. He did start to explain something, but I wasn't interested in listening as there was no excuse for not being spoken to. As I was about to get into my car he came to the carpark. Said about getting a table etc. Made the point that the restaurant had nothing to do with Hydro and didn't want us to leave with a bad experience. If anyone had at least engaged us in conversation. Good evening. Can I get you a menu. Would you like a drink? It was really disappointing as 2 of the 3 reviews I had read were 5 star. Great food atmosphere etc. My experience was 0 stars. But the review makes me put down 1 star minimum. Won't be back.
