I only discovered this hidden gem with an online search. We loved it! Quirky wee place with friendly staff and properly good coffee. My husband loved the toasted scone and my caramel square was exactly how I remembered them!

Real treat hittin the broken biccie, fab fresh cooked food, very reasonable, lovely hussel and bussel at busy times and relaxed atmosphere mid afternoon. Bringing some one new to the venue they are always pleasantly surprised at such a retreat in the hub of industry.

Experienced the rudest customer service ever. Had been waiting a long time for meal and had noticed four takeaway orders being taken and served after we had placed our order. Spoke to waitress and explained we were still waiting for meal. The person who took order came over and without apologising for delay said that takeaways were pre order. When I tried to explain that we had heard the takeaway orders actually being placed and the people looking at menu to decide on their order, she walked away and told the other waitress who was going to serve our meal to return it to kitchen. We were then asked to leave by the aggressive waitress with no apologies for the appalling service and her rudeness to her regular customers. Needless to say we will not be back but we had a lovely meal elsewhere and customer service was great.

Fantastic friendly service with a smile. Good choice of panini’s and sandwiches. But, order a cup of tea and you won’t be disappointed! China teacups and saucers, like your granny had. So much to look at in the room. Only down side it that when it’s really busy the curtain gets left open and freezes you. Great wee find!!

Lost count how many times i have eaten here. Great food and treatment usually but I won't be back. Turned away with three empty tables. They say they dont reserve tables but all the empty seats were reserved for more loyal customers. Very embarrassing in front of the other customers. I was told I could sit outside. If you want to run the risk of humilitiation and rejection, this is the place for you. Boycott.

I had lunch today in Broken Biscuits with two friends. My first visit to this unusual little cafe, it will definitely not be my last. I was totally surprised by the interior. Just like a step back in time. The layout was fabulous and loved all the tables and chairs. The staff were so helpful and the food freshly made and very tasty. Loved the crockery and ate my delicious sandwich off an enamel plate. So much to talk about in this cafe we found ourselves going back in time talking about some of the decor. Two of us even remember our Mums buying Broken Biscuits. A total delight and very reasonably priced. Loved it

This is a quaint and quirky diner. The food is to die for. It is a clean well run place and it’s an absolute pleasure to dine here. The staff are friendly and welcoming and I hesitated in recommending this place because I wanted it to be a hidden secret. A wee gem of a place.

Pay a visit for the scones alone!! Best raspberry and white chocolate scone in Belfast. I’ve asked the lovely dark haired girl for the recipe every Friday morning, but she remains tight lipped! Scone and a generous pot of tea for under £4…a steal!

Popped in to buy a take away scone When I opened it up the scone wasn’t much deeper than a pancake and felt and tasted very dry and stale I had chosen a fruit scone and all the fruit was distributed round edges leaving the middle completely fruit free. The edges were also overcooked The scone sadly was not enjoyable to eat. Not sure I’d be buying a scone from here again Bit disappointed Perhaps not a freshly baked scone?? Their tray-bakes on the other hand are usually exceptional

My friend and I choose to try this place today (a Saturday) around 12:30, I had seen it when searching Google maps for a place for lunch. The reviews were good, the photos of the food looked good and so we decided to try for ourselves. The location was good for us and plenty of parking. When we got inside there are 2 ends of where you can sit, we walked in one side and it was busy enough so walked down to the other side where the counter is. We got greeted immediately by a member of staff who showed us to a table right away and gave us menus. We didn't have to wait long at all and the guy (didn't ask for his name) came over and took our order, he was the one who greeted us when we first came in, he was friendly and attentive. Our drinks came out quite promptly which was nice and then we didn't have to wait long at all for our food. The service was great. The food was lovely too, my friend had a pesto chicken brie and sun blush toastie and I had sourdough poached eggs tapenade and avocado. I would say it was on the pricey side but it was good food, service and we would definitely go again. The menu had a good selection on it.
