A great place but has become very expensive. The most expensive tea and croissant in Belfast. Not again.

Friendly and helpful staff. Food is delicious and this cafe is without a doubt my favourite in Belfast for the reasons stated.

Unattractive surroundings with seating around an open plan kitchen - OK if you want to watch pancakes being cooked while sipping your drink. Coffee was average. Rather overpriced. Up-market prices for less than up-market experience. But nice staff.

Says it is opened on Mondays but here now and it's closed. Not sure if it is closed for good or they just need to update their opening hours.

Don't get this place, loads of good reviews, and it was OK. But expensive £9 for an omelette and £1 for 2 little bits on toast. Then £4 for a cup of tea. Yes I understand restaurant have overheads, but as it's the only place in Carryduff they price accordingly.

Food was excellent. Their homemade wheaten bread was delicious. Eggs were cooked to perfection & the coffee lovely and creamy. If not familiar with their location please Google as can be missed easily.

Been here a few times, which tells you the food is decent. A varying menu with something for everyone and staff willing to adapt dishes to your taste. My only criticism is portions aren’t as big as I’d like. Would recommend! Carryduff has no other cafe but even if it did I would still recommend. Eat local. Ample parking.

26/08/23 - Advertised that it closes at 15:00, I arrived at 14:07 and they said that the kitchen is closed and no longer serving hot food or sandwiches. Staff were very rude and didn’t even acknowledge us when we walked through the door. Had a very expensive cold cappuccino, staff were more interested in talking with the chefs in the kitchen. Won’t be rushing back!

My first experience of this delightful restaurant even thought it is a short distance from my home. As you walk in the door you are immediately struck by the huge and very comprehensive menu written up on the back wall. Staff are very pleasant and service was quick and the food was delicious, nothing was too much trouble even though I requested a slight variation off the menu. My first visit but definitely not my last.

Good choice of breakfast and lunch. Food is very tasty and both well presented and served. Staff very friendly. Only problem is the last few times they had virtually no traybakes left when in the past they had a fabulous selection.

Advertised as open, 0800. Had to knock on the door at 0810. Served the most expensive flat white. But kitchen isnt open yet, not even pastries. Soulless atmosphere in the middle of a derelict industrial estate. Wont be rushing back soon

Five star service all staff with big smiles on their faces I came in to reflect the life of big John with his favourite brunch meal the ham and cheese on bloomer it brought a tear to my eye as I finished the last peashoot GBNF big John

Lovely coffee shop serving awesome brunch and lunch. Very nice atmosphere. It can get busy weekends at brunch time. Expect a short wait. I had French toast with bacon and maple syrup and a poached egg. Flat white and orange juice.

Food was good but hot drinks delivered to our table at least 10 minutes before the food arrived. By the time we were finishing our food the tea was cold. We tried to order another pot but they had run out of tea - unbelievable! They then offered us Earl Grey and tried to tell us it was the same as ordinary black tea, just a bit stronger - even more unbelievable!! The bill was far more than advertised prices. £15 for a toastie and Tea when board said £9 for toastie and £3 for tea. Other person with me paid the same - too expensive at £15 for a quick, light lunch!

Great breakfast/lunch. Friendly, helpful staff. Go fairly regularly and never had a ln issue.

Just paid 4pounds for a double espresso in an oversized cup. It was 2pounds for one espresso. Usually coffee shops will charge for the espresso and then maybe 50p for an extra shot. Not here! But apparently it's Baillies coffee which they consider to be the best! It's kind of industry standard in NI and not the best when you burn it when producing it. I will not be back.

This is the 2nd time I've been here. Nice staff, nice food, I'll be back again I'm sure. A hidden gem !!

Food here is lovely, a nice place to sit in, and the staff were great. Such a good find - about 10 minutes from Forestside, just before you come to the Carryduff roundabout. Highly recommend a visit.

Great place to visit. Staff were very pleasant and cafe was pristine. Atmosphere was great and our brunch was the best I’ve had in a long long time. They have been going five years and yet I have only now visited for the first time but it wont be our last.

I think the best way to describe this place is as a hidden gem. Don't let it remain hidden, find it! Great food, friendly staff, particular shout out to the (or for the) spicy sausage rolls - well worth a taste

Prior to the Covid lockdown, we had been regular patrons of Toasted. We ventured back after cafes were allowed to reopen and were hoping to experience the same quality of food and service that we had enjoyed earlier. Sadly, it wasn't to be. The coffee was like light brown dishwater and the sausage rolls we ordered were like baton rounds. Service was perfunctory, a complete reversal of pre-covid times. When we pointed out that the coffee was undrinkable and asked for tea instead, there was no apology, no going back to the barista to point out the problem, just a shrug of the shoulders and a petulant 'OK'. So, needless to say, while others may be content to overpay for poor quality food and desultory service, we shall not be going back.

Having lived in Carryduff most of my life; it is great to have a coffee shop worth going to. I have visited a few coffee shops and this is by far my favourite. I would travel far to go to this one and I can't believe it is literally on my front door. The coffee shop is lovely to sit in, the staff are very friendly and more than accommodating. The food is absolutely top class and I would say more restaurant quality as it is good quality food and beautiful presentation. If you're ever passing through Carryduff do yourself a favour and call in for some lunch, you won't be disappointed.

Excellent customer service & food

Have been a number of times but the last visit was not great. The service was slow as there appeared to be few staff. The food was ok but given price I was disappointed. Think it will be a long time before I return as there are other outlets with better service.

My local cafe, unexpectedly very good. I'm new to the area and have been very happy with both the food, coffee and service on each occasion. Shame the outside space is a carpark.. could a few spaces be commandeered and planted up as has happened on the Ormeau Rd and elsewhere? That said the inside is relaxing and the style appeals to me. Add a couch or two, and you'd have 5stars, easy.

Love the food. Particularly the tapenade with sourdough, poached egg and avocado. Coffee is also awesome! 🥰

Service is painfully slow, and staff look completely disinterested. Still keep going back, as it's the only place in carryduff to get a coffee... Everytime I hope it gets better, every time it doesn't! So if your planning a quick coffee visit, you're better with barista bar brackenvale. If you've got an hour to kill, then go for it! EDIT -> Worth noting that since writing this review, the owner has stalked me on Facebook... And sent me a passive aggressive private message about brackenvale's profits... Despite mentioning that I keep going back, I think after that I'll probably never return! Shame! Not to worry though, barista bar does a decent coffee!

Really top class Deli and Cafe . Staff very helpful . Food is amazing with a wide range of lunch or coffee break menu including vegetarian options . Had coffee and homemade traybakes .Viennese whirls with white chocolate are delicious. Also Heated brownie with ice cream was taste bud perfect .Really worth a visit if passing by Carryduff.

I have had several take away breakfasts at Toasted for the last few months. They've adapted to covid, with the installation of screens and a one way system through the premises. I prefer to call in my orders beforehand, they're always very accommodating and my food is ready to pick up in 15minutes and always the correct order. Good coffee, amazing food and always helpful and pleasant staff.

I absolutely love this place, every time I get to go (or can force someone out with me as an excuse to go), it is brilliant. Shelley, the owner, is fantastic, and it's lovely to see a smiling face every time you visit. The food is excellent, I wish I could say I've tried more than I have, but I keep going back for the same thing because its that good. I've tried the French Toast with bacon and syrup which was lovely, and at lunch I always go for the cajun chicken toasted sourdough bread. Its incredible and always such high quality. Can't rate this place enough, definitely worth your visit!

Great parking outside. The breakfast menu was huge and lots to choose from. The cafe itself was immaculately clean! The food was excellent and a generous portion of salmon with my poached eggs. I'll definitely be back and so easy to get to in Carryduff.

Been meaning to go here for a while but never really got time until today. My little one was off for half term so we tried here. Had the breakfast and my little one had a croissant and a couple of sausages. Lovely food, great service and quick. We will definitely be back.

I didn’t even know this place existed till a friend told me about it. Called in yesterday afternoon for a coffee and it was probably the best coffee I’ve had for a long time. I had a latte and my husband had a cappuccino. He agreed it was really good and not a stingy cupful either. We will definitely try this place soon for lunch as the menu looked interesting.

Had a breakfast here today, busy place, just off the Saintfield Road. Lovely fresh food with local ingredients on sale. I had, not for the first time, the toasted breakfast, which is an Ulster fry, but better, not greasy, good quality ingredients. My other had the sourdough with avocado, poached egg and tapenade. Coffee is also good. Lovely, hard working and friendly staff/owners. Definitely one of my favourites for breakfast, must try the lunch some time!

Another coffee stop required after a hecticmorning.... I didn’t realise that the unit next door had been taken over by Toasted. They were like 2 different restaurants- the existing restaurant was extremely busy whilst the extension was pleasantly quiet with only another table.The coffee was hot and above average in my estimations and the scone delicious I was well looked after and left very satisfied with my visit. The cafe was very clean and the counter displayed a wide variety of food stuffs.Prices average to high, but as you would expect.

When I said to my parents about taking them out for lunch and they suggested a cafe on a business park, I thought they'd lost it! But...... Fantastic is an understatement. Everything was great. I had the pumpkin and chorizo soup. Wife had Tomato and Baziil. Parents had French Toast and Bacon. Kids had Kids Menu. All really good. Pastries for desert awesome. Read and Coffees great. Service great. Atmosphere great.

We visited here twice during our stay in Northern Ireland, once for coffee and once for breakfast. The staff are all so lovely, friendly, helpful and nothing is too much for them. Everything is prepared fresh and we couldn't fault it. You can just have coffee and a cake, a meal or a snack. There is lots of choice and the hardest thing is deciding what to have.If you are in the area then you must come here. You will get a warm welcome and you won't be disappointed.

Visited with my sister for lunch...we were not disappointed. I ordered the soup of the day which was mushroom and courgette. It was delicious, generous, piping hot and served with very good toasted wheaten bread. I didn’t taste the courgette but that didn’t affect my enjoyment! I will return. Inexpensive at £5. My companion had a huge prawn and avocado open sandwich served with generous amounts of salads. At £9 it was also good value. Well done to all!

Had possibly one of the nicest breakfasts ever here. Poached eggs on freshly made pancakes with maple cure bacon and syrup😋. Staff were lovely and food is fantastic. Will be back again for sure

We live local and never knew this place existed until I read it had won an award recently for Cafe manager of the year .we have been four times now as a family ...fantastic healthy menu options and great coffee

Our favourite place for breakfast, has a superb menu filled with lots of really tasty options. Scones are a great takeaway, great coffee, would recommend the toasted breakfast in particular.

Once again the third red "Coffee Warning" light cames on and there's nothing to be done but head to this eaterie to slake all caffeine desires.

We are regular users of Toasted and the food is fantastic. The owner Shelley has created a super cafe and clearly gets a lot of repeat business. The only reason it didn’t get 5/5 is that none of Shelley’s staff have learned to either smile or chat. You always like to have some craic and a welcome when you visit a coffee shop but apart from Shelley there is none here. So great food but somber faces.

My friends and I regularly go here for breakfast or morning coffee, for such an off beat place it is always busy, good selection of food at very reasonable prices, staff very cheerful and accommodating for all including vegans, nice quiet relaxing atmosphere

I have to say I usually try different things when I revisit places but I was so impressed with the prawn sandwich it was all I could think about on my return! I would for lunch toasted is pricey enough compared to other eateries, but for me the quality of food, makes it worth it. The wheaten bread was lightly griddled, there was a nice amount of salad, coleslaw was delicious, and a more than sufficient amount of prawns. The portion size meant I didn't need much of an evening meal. Best place I've had lunch in the area. Would definitely recommend.

I was in this cafe for the first time today. I ordered a salad which was simply fabulous... So fresh and full of flavour. I would highly recommend a visit to this establishment.. The staff are very friendly... And completed the whole package.

Sometimes life will throw you a curve ball, and then sometimes the fates take pity and lead you to a location which when entered feels like you ought to have been here forever. Such is Toasted.

Shelley and her staff make the best scones ever. I wouldn't have thought lemon scones would work but they are amazing. Keep doing what u are doing and u won't go wrong. Recommend for everything but obviously I love the scones. Will def make it for breakfast soon.

Delicious but INCREDIBLY expensive.

Had lunch with a friend, I had a panini with bacon, brie and advocado. A bit light on the advocado, but lovely otherwise. My friend had an open prawn and said it was very tasty. The tray bakes were good. Florentini to be recommended.
