Lovely coffee, friendly staff, what more do you need :)

Love Neros as a place to relax with a coffee...however this cafe can only offer celiacs or gluten intolerant people a rice cake.! Or a very overpriced cookie(new)...It's 2024 with a huge awareness of food allergies etc...very many people are regular customers which would make it nice to have something more on offer gluten free...But I still love Neros to meet up or just chill and do some work or watch the world go by sort of thing.

Coffee was grand but the toilets are disgusting, worst I have ever been in

Didn't have food, just coffee including a Babychino for our 2 year old grandson. Excellent quality, not too long to wait, reasonable price. Couldn't ask for much more.

Cuppa was fine but soft seats totally off-putting to sit on as they are absolutely filthy. Tables were dirty with trays/cups from previous customers still there. The place is in serious need of some TLC.

I like Nero, though it's much pricier than it used be.

I always come here as love the coffee but I always get take away as the furniture is so disgustingly dirty. Nero give this shop some money for new furniture.

Been a customer for quite some time going in to cafe Nero and all cafe Nero coffee shops has got warm welcome service to an extent . I'm disappointed when paying cash your change is thrown in your hand . I've noticed some customers our giving there change in a nice manner where as me it's thrown in my hand as if my hands are not clean. It's happening to often cafe Nero coffee shop forest side ) I feel quite offensive ,when certain staff throw my change in my hand. Take me as I am , good customer service brings customers back . I come in to cafe Nero with a good head, but I come out with aheadache . Thank you.

Slow service. No cup sleeves for take out coffee.Coffee was bitter, despite having syrup in it. Waste of time and money. I could let it slide once, but this is the second time. I would avoid and would not recommend

Met up with friend for coffee. Can get quite busy at times.

They make coffee I like, nice staff too. I can not eat when I am out as I tend to detonate so sitting down and having a nice coffee is a real treat as I wait for a taxi to take me home. Things are still pretty good. You can try a coffee from a different region or buy tea and coffee to take home and use in your machine. Still great!

It was a great place and had good atmosphere. Just the staff was a bit short which is understood with the coffee shops.

Seats and tables dirty and seats all stained. Highchair also needed wipes used on it even though it was put away as supposedly clean. Coffee was good but just cleanliness just not good enough

Popped in for a quick coffee. Place was busy but helped quick enough. Coffee was great and I was in and out. I didn't have a chance to sit but will make an effort on my next visit.

Served by very helpful barista. Coffees were hot and very well made with lots of foam. We will return!

Ordered a Salted caramel pistachio frappe and got a iced coffee with a pitiful squirt of pistachio, looked nothing like the advert in window! Tasted awful. Won't be back.

Lovely coffee. Has to be a favourite amongst the big Caffès. Carrot cake was to die for. So moist and tasty. Toastys, surprisingly tasty. Good selection.

This place is ideal to have a good refuel after having a shopping spree in forestside,when I went here the atmosphere was bustling and lively,the food and drinks were excellent and customer service was good overall 8.5/10

I can't help but think this place desperately needs a rethink when it comes how to make service more efficient. I've never queued up as long for a coffee on a consistent basis anywhere in my life. I quite often am in just buying coffee beans or a cold drink and there is no option available to skip through the painstakingly slow hot drinks service. Most other coffee shops (particularly chain shops) have a person dedicated for each section, I.e counter server, barista, food preparer etc, but here, everyone does everything and it is absolute carnage. Staff are friendly and they definitely produce good food and drinks but the speed of service is incredibly bad.

Nice coffee and food but the place was very dirty also the empty cups and food wrappers not taken away quickly after each sitting.needs to be addressed.

The worst cafe nero I've ever experienced. I love the Abbey centre and Victoria Square ones so on a shopping trip to Forestside thought I would stop in for my usual Americano with oat milk in disposable cup sitting in. Whilst I was waiting in the queue a man came in from his car and told staff he'd just bought a takeaway coffee and it was cold. Staff member didn't apologise just turned round to other staff member, other staff member asked what was the matter and made him another, slapped on counter, no apology, no nothing, attitude was appalling. I then ordered mine, when I looked at the disposable cup could see it was dented at top, top came away and scalded my hands, again no apology. Really poor customer service, will not be back.

This is the first time iv been to Caffè Nero it was very run down and dirty the chair and sofa was dirty floor wasn't much better very shocked at the dirt of it I won't be going back

Great place for a their range of coffees, snack and to relax. Catch up with friends in a relaxed and happy atmosphere. Dogs allowed to.

Love our visits here. The staff are so friendly despite being rushed of their feet at busy periods. Rebecca in particular is so friendly and always goes out of her way to make sure you have everything you need and have a good experience. Great coffee shop.

Typical nero coffee is good and staff are good!

Got to be the slowest coffee chain on the market, regularly queue at least 15 mins even when they're not overly busy to be served 8 times out of 10 by a trainee barista who's let loose to make your coffee totally unsupervised at their own snail like pace to a really poor level, staff are absolutely miserable, must be a great company to work for !! they now use takeaway cups when you sit in as they can't be bothered / don't have the staff to wash proper cups, company obviously don't care about sustainability or their affect on carbon footprint !

It's only getting 2 stars because the staff are lovely. This is THE SLOWEST service you will ever experience in your life, guaranteed. There's consistently a queue snaking around that never seems to quit, even at 7:30 in the evening. I wouldn't say the coffee and food options aren't all that great and certainly not worth the money. I can't say the Costa across the way is any better either. Again, if you NEED a coffee go have one, but all the coffee shops in Forestside leave a lot to be desired.

Some attendant dont dish out the cups and cutlery. Very busy place need more staff.

Coffee ☕ was flavoursome. Small portion of hazelnut chocolate hit the spot.

I was there at about 4.00p.m. and the queue was long with about 30 minutes waiting time.

Just popped in for a coffee and cakes with friends. Very comfortable, good service, nice coffee. Easy enough to get seated. Upstairs available. Nice ambience.

Ok, very crowded and as usual for these places you have to wait for the coffee to be prepared. Snacks quite nice.

The coffee is OK, but I always enjoy how comfortable it is to sit in at Neros.

Always packed and a bit nerve wracking during COVID years. Cortado nice tho. There is a new Costa across the road which is brighter, cleaner and also does good cortado.

Depending on which cafe you go to it can be hit or miss if the coffee is good. On this occasion they didn't add the flavoured syrup that had been paid for.

Very nice, staff are polite and helpful. Food and beverages are tasty. Toilet facilities on ground floor. Additional seating upstairs. Outdoor seating also available. Reasonable prices for a café. Clean and tidy. Access from carpark and through to forest side shopping.

Visited the store today after ordering online via the app. Waited until the prep time had passed and then enquired with staff about my order. To then be informed they had cancelled it due to not having mint syrup. No apologies, no can we substitute, no email from the app or push notifications about it being cancelled. Very poor service. Ordinarily I wouldn't mind, but this isn't a one off. The last time I ordered in this store via the app, I waited way past the prep time, then someone asked was I OK. When I explained they checked the computer and informed me that my order had just come through. Sorry but its too slow. Watching people come in after me and get their drink and away is really frustrating!

Gone Down hill !! Used to be decent but visited yesterday stinking tables and smell of old milk caused me to boke in my mouth little . The very alternative and unique individual who served me thought he was Johnny rotten more like Dorothy cotton. Partner and her 9 year old son needed the toilet frequently after eating some buns:

Service was very slow and the girl who made the coffees looked like she didn't want to be there and got our order wrong. Wouldn't rush back to Cafe Nero at Forestside.

The Caffe serves very good coffee and selection of cakes. The carrot cake and chocolate fudge cake slices were really lush and amazing in taste, enjoyed them the most. If you're there then other than coffee the cake slices are must to have 🙂

Corporate coffee but nice atmosphere and reasonable coffee.

Visited with my family, and ordered 3 hot drinks, a soft drink, an overpriced cookie and a toastie. They were very rude and ignorant while we ordered with no manners. Then they handed me a wooden number so I could go sit down and they’d bring me the toastie when it was heated. About 10 minutes later, people that had entered long after us were being served their hot food so I went up to ask for it and my toastie was just sat at the side. I asked if my toastie was ready and she handed me the half cold toastie as if it was my fault that they hadn’t come and given it to me and taken the wooden block back. The cookie also tasted awful.

Brilliant staff for such a busy store. Trainee Barista Jack was super helpful and helped me clean up a massive spill that I caused!

Very very helpful and friendly staff can be found here, any issue you have or any concerns regarding products in store or food/drinks to be picked up they are more than happy to help, its hard to find staff who are both willing and happy to help a customer in need with a smile! I drive past a couple of different places to arrive at this one because the experience is above and beyond what is expected of them! If you live in the area or are passing through be sure to try and grab the bits you need from this store! Will definitely be back!

Half a cup of coffee and half a cup of foam…… great value pfft!!!!! Place is extremely dirty, had to clean my own table as EVERY table had dirty cups/dishes on it… staff standing around talking instead of cleaning up. NOT impressed

I never wrote a comment for anything,,, but today I decided to ! this is the fourth time I went to Nero forestside coffee shop Belfast , and staff will tell me only takeaway cups, I asked what is the reason for the fourth time they say there is not enough stuff to wash the cups!!! I am a person who really complains but it has been going on for over month and a half I just refuse to take coffees , I go somewhere else,,,,,,

Staff were incredibly nice and the coffee was great. Also had a panini which was lively and hot.

Visited on 19/12/21at around 1pm. Ordered two cups of tea, a scone and a lemon muffin, the tea was fine it was hot and was delivered exactly as I ordered with the teabags kept separately the lemon muffin was ok, but the scone in comparison was dense and hard as if had been baked a couple of days ago and kept under cover.not a pleasant experience I understand that cafe Nero is an 'italian coffee house', but really if you can't deliver fresh baked goods especially something as simple as a scone then I would suggest that you refrain from stocking them, unfortunately I wouldn't recommend purchasing scones as an accompaniment as it could be a big disappointment.
