Absolutely delicious! Katsu burgers were amazing, chips with cheese & taco sauce went down a treat. Thank you! Tried the Kare kare for a change and it did not disappoint. Loads of crispy pork belly, a lovely mixture of vegetables & a lovely peanut sauce served with their amazing sticky rice. The dumplings were also really lovely. Superb meal to be honest.

order arrived 45 mins after the expected delivery time(1805-1825). order place around 1730 arrived 1910. food cold. really poor. Rang the premises to enquire to the whereabouts of my food only to basically hung up on.

My favourite place to order from in Dundonald 😊 the delivery always on time, food is always piping hot and absolutely delicious. And the delivery lady is an absolute sweetheart! Try the Filipino dishes, they’re my favourite 🤩

BBQ ribs are tasty but only 4 in a portion, Sweet chilli noodles were enjoyable but not great, beefy taco rice was dry and meat overcooked (wouldn’t recommend) . I would try again sometime but not my first choice

Food was absolutely tremendous! I asked for the rice to be separate from the pork belly as I love plain white rice on its own. Wasn’t an issue whatsoever. Food was roasting hot and the veg was lovely and crunchy. It was Perfect, thank you!!

We order from here prob too much! Honestly the food especially the Spanish dishes are delicious. Always so fresh and tasty. The croquetas remind me of many holidays in Spain as a child! Food Joint is a gem of a place. Extensive menu, fresh ingredients and delicious. The Pad Thai is highly recommended. Gyoza and Soimai are delicious.

Was told 40 minutes then all in all 2 hours later the food showed up i ast the driver when he picked it up and he lied to me I know he lied as ast him 3 times and it got longer! If the food is good I don't know but I'm not talking cold food

no curry in the katsu curry loaded fries and the food was nearly 2 hours late.

1st time trying this place. Gave it a go as there’s a bunch of positive reviews and food looked good. I ordered the “bbq char sui with rice” and a portion of “salted chilli chips” Char sui was basically all fatty bits and the chips were soggy and flavourless. Not salted chilli indeed

food was delicious haven't a bad word to say about it, we did have a strange situation tho where the same order arrived again about 30 mins after our original order and apparently they got a call saying we didn't like the food and it was cold hence why they brought more but me and my gf where and are baffled as we did not ring with any complaint, the food was delicious and we ate it all and I feel bad that someone has obviously done this forcing them to redeliver unnecessarily, very strange

1hr 50mins from order was placed until it arrived. Very disappointed. Food was quite cool/cold when it eventually arrived. This place would be great if they ever got deliveries sorted.

Was our first time getting food from here and honestly the only thing I regret was not going there soon enough! The food was amazing and everything was so fresh and tasty! The woman who served us was honestly so sweet and helpful when we were unsure of what to get! I’ll definitely be back. 10/10

Oh.My.Goodness. What a surprise. I went for chicken salt & chilli chicken with med-hot spice level (which was perfect). The rice was cooked well, the seasoning, the veg, just everything was amazing. I will definitely be returning. Service was 5/5, very friendly fella working on the till, very easy to talk to. Pricing is quite normal for the area though the portion size of the rice was slightly smaller but other than that, you get what you pay for, if not a little extra.

I went to Food Joint for a takeaway. I had never seen a manu and just took a chance. I ordered two dishes for me and my husband. The lady behind the counter was super friendly. I felt the prices were very reasonable. In fact, I think McDonald's would have been more expensive. It was brilliant. Fresh healthy food, generous portions. Neither of us could finish our meals. I'll be back.

Just had my first meal here. Pork belly with rice and my daughter had the bbq pulled pork burger with fries. Absolutely outstanding and very filling. Will be back soon.

Authentic Asian food at a good price!

Best tasting food around. Different from other Asian restaurants, their meals have a more homemade healthy feel and they aren't greasy or heavy. Only place i know that serves pork belly! We are in love.

Perhaps my experience is an exception from the good reviews below but my curry tasted of oil and onions were like rubber.

Folks. I wouldn’t bother ordering takeaway from this establishment. The 2 starters and 2 main courses last night were poor. The “meat” spring rolls looked like and tasted like a cocktail sausage wrapped in pastry. BBQ ribs were tasteless. Sorry! The chicken chilli noodle and chicken bowl were mediocre at best. Not a place I’d recommend.

Tried this place when it first opened, was ok but not great. BUT now , oh my word hidden gem of dundonald! They've upped their game. Super tasty chicken pad thai, fresh, and pleasing portion size. Loaded fries was very tasty too. Need to try more!

First time trying Food Joint and it won't be our last! Super fast having the food ready for collection, great presentation and good size portions. Food was hot (mind we only live a 3 minute walk away) and sooo delicious. Nice and spicy and the pork belly was really well cooked. Can't wait to order again and work our way through the menu!

The Best Yakisoba I’ve tasted. A great menu asian fusion variety. Not just your chinese takeaway. This was totally a healthier option without MSG.

Ordered food for delivery through Uber eats 15 minutes later they cancelled it and it was then too late to order from else where

Extremely poor experience. Not sure if they were overwhelmed with the orders today. Food was delivered nearly 2 hours post order when we phoned third time and asked them to Cancel. Order not made correct. Food was cold and too much salt. No intentions to order from here again.
