The best restaurants in Yorkshire and The Humber

‘Nolas’ is a beautiful restaurant with fantastic food . My husband and myself first discovered it last year whilst on holiday and this year on holiday we came with our two friends who had both celebrated their 70th birthdays , and we wanted to bring them somewhere special to eat . They like us loved it too ❤️. ‘Nolas’ has a fab ambience and the staff are just so lovely and helpful. ‘Nolas’ is well worth visiting if you are ever in York.

Always 10/10, the best Indian restaurant we have ever tried. nothing ever compares to Cumin Lounge the portion size is huge, especially the naans, the price is so reasonable, the lads who work there are all so friendly and work so hard. will continue to come back everytime! thankyou!!

We were a group of 9 visiting the area from down south over the Easter weekend. We ordered a selection of food from the menu, including the filled Yorkshire Pudding, Chicken & Mushroom Pie, Steak Pie, and Chicken Tikka. The food was absolutely delicious and the portions were large, in fact several of our party were unable to finish their meals! Honestly the best Chicken & Mushroom pie I've ever had and I also helped my adult Son with his Yorkshire Pudding which was filled with the most tender braising steak (other fillings were available). And all at amazing prices (half the price of what we're used to down south). Hoping there's a need to visit the area again so we can return to the Boatman's Rest!

This is a friendly and cosy Italian restaurant with tasty food, vegetarian options and extra parmesan on request. Highly recommended!

Booked this restaurant last night for my Wifes Birthday😃. It was a beautiful experience and the Food and Staff were amazing. Defo recommend and will be going back again soon 🍽😋. 5 ☆☆☆☆☆ for me.

Went here for the first time to try Greek cuisine, and wow.. the mixed souvlaki dish was incredible. From the home made flatbread, to the tender and juicy meats, could not recommend enough. Atmosphere could be better, but it doesn't take away from the amazing food.

Excellent meal. Visited for a work leaving do. Food was great, staff friendly and efficient. A great night out.

Food was really nice and tasty. The waiter service was a bit slap dash. The price was good.

Went with two friends for a meal. The food was stunning! Wish we tried one of the sharing board so will definitely be back for them. I got the nduja ravioli and it was gorgeous. Cocktails were fabulous, easily one of my fave espresso martinis in Leeds. The cannoli dessert was lush! Would go back for it again also!

One off my favourite coffee shops always friendly service. The food and coffee is brilliant here. They have outside seating at the back, which was perfect to keep an eye on my bike. I often cycle from Bradford to Skipton and always stop here for coffee and food.

Was recommended this place for Sunday lunch and it did not disappoint. Staff very polite, immaculate restaurant, great menu and superb quality of food. Will definitely be back

First time here on Friday night whilst 'up north' visiting some friends. The 'El Mariachi' Pizza was outstanding, and good value. The bar staff were spot on, attentive, and really pleasant. The Brixton Lager was a lovely drop. Great value for money, good atmosphere, will be back when up again no doubt.

We stayed at the Wensleydale Heifer last night on our way back from Cumbria, As with many times before, we received a very warm welcome by all the staff, a fantastic meal, wonderful night's sleep and excellent breakfast! Always want to return again and again. Big Thanks to you all.

Trabajé en Poco durante un par de meses en la tienda Headingley y disfruté de mi tiempo trabajando allí. La comida es excelente, hecha fresca por chefs que se preocupan por la comida que están haciendo. Hay una gran selección de postres y cosas saladas, cambiando semanalmente, lo cual es genial si quieres variedad en lo que estás recibiendo. Mis favoritos fueron los Calzones y los Arancini (¡tanto los sabores como las opciones vegetarianas son geniales!). Los desiertos son deliciosos y muy variados, así que hay mucho para elegir. La crema fresca Bomboloni, o pistacho Aragastina o Cannoli son mis favoritas. Pero todo es delicioso y vale la pena probarlo. Trabajar allí fue bueno. Detrás de escena hay mucho que hacer de gente trabajadora que quiere traer una porción de la cultura alimentaria siciliana a Leeds. Bruno, gerente de la sucursal de Headingley, es un tipo maravilloso que se preocupa profundamente por su herencia siciliana y proporciona a los demás una experiencia gastronómica que refleja la alegría y el deleite de la cultura gastronómica que experimentó al crecer en Italia. Es un gran tipo que siempre está abierto a hablar de los productos que se ofrecen y cualquier relacionado con la cultura italiana, haciéndolo con gran pasión.
