The best restaurants in Yorkshire and The Humber

I come often and always enjoy, however this time was different. To be honest, not up to standard. The usual pizza chef wasn’t in and it really showed. Won’t be ordering again if this is the case. Very disappointed.

Just wonderful, walked in to a busy coffee shop with great service and coffee. Stayed for a while whilst doing emails and waiting for a friend. Just a great experience

Pedí la caja de San Valentín y la caja dulce. Lo recomiendo encarecidamente. Alimentado 3 de nosotros con algunos de sobra. Definitivamente pediré de ustedes de nuevo o traer a la familia al restaurante para un café y pastel

Met up with a friend for lunch here yesterday, had a lovely veggie lunch in this cafe in the heart of Otley. We each had sandwiches and they were delicious. I am gluten intolerant so was pleased to see that gluten free and vegan diets are well catered for here. I also had a vegan and gluten free cake, which I think was coconut and date - absolutely gorgeous! Our meal was good value too and staff were friendly and helpful. We will definitely be returning to Sift!

Visited for breakfast and could not fault a thing. The sandwich was excellent with everything cooked to perfection. The service was quick and the staff very friendly and polite. We took away some of their cakes for later and we were not disappointed, they were really good.

The food and service were unbelievable, such lovely and polite staff who gave our friend extra toast which was really nice of them. Quality of food was outstanding and such good value for money. I had a Prawn sandwich and it was so very nice with a salad which was lovely and colourful and flavoursome. My partner has dietary needs so she required a soya milk hot chocolate which she said was the nicest hot chocolate she had ever had. She also chose a cheese and chutney sandwich which required gluten free bread. Again she said the bread was the best quality gluten free bread she had ever had!! Can’t recommend this place highly enough!!

He estado en tantos lugares de Shawarma. Nada se acerca a esto. La mejor envoltura de shawarma. Una vez que lo pruebes te volverás adicto a la envoltura de shawarma.

Solo había un destino de desayuno / almuerzo para el comienzo de mis celebraciones de 50 años con mi familia. 8 de nosotros todos ordenados, con la medida de la preferencia acomodada para. Todo llegó rápidamente cocinado a la perfección, presentado maravillosamente. Gran servicio por las dos encantadoras damas. Gracias Sarah y Lauren, nos vemos pronto ❤️

Lovely little cafe and very good service with attention to detail. We ordered sandwiches and coffees. I was very impressed with the quality of the sandwiches. Generously-packed fillings for both the tuna and the cheese sandwiches. Will definitely be back in the near future. x

Lovely warm welcome from what I assume was the owner. My husband said it was one of the best sausage sandwiches he has ever had, good quality sausages. I had the gluten free bread with poached eggs, had to ask twice if it was gluten free as it was that good! Owner makes it herself. Poached eggs were perfect. Will not go anywhere else when visiting Helmsley. Little gem of a cafe that deserves to do well.

Kunefe and baklava are amazing, definitely try them...

Fui a ver a mi mamá para tomar un café y el caballero detrás del mostrador habló con nosotros y tener un poco de charla. Tenía un nervio atrapado y me ofreció un paracetamol para ayudar con el dolor y como siempre el café es fantástico. Siempre un gran lugar para visitar.
