Charming ambience… subtle lighting… warm and welcoming. We had the smaller tasting menu. The food was superbly presented , delicious flavours with exciting combinations and seasonal influences… this food rivals the Fat Duck and L Enclume as well as the Raby Hunt but at a fraction of the price … Congratulations to this stunningly talented young chef and his team. The wines too were sensibly priced with a good selection to choose from…. We work in hospitality so feel well place to assess… we know what hard work goes into it to keep very high standards… An amazing place on the up and coming …. Qué puedo decir, como siempre el servicio y la comida eran excelentes. Nada es demasiado, te sientes como en casa. Tuve Gambas Linguini y mi marido tenía el lento; perfecto. pecho El postre era para morirse, Assiette de chocolate, una chocoholic's dream.

Came here for some cocktails. The cocktails were spot on and very cheap! We had a great night here. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be returning here!

I was at a party where they catered. There was ample choice and excellent range. There was an excellent range of interesting vegan options for me and meaty options for others. Everything was delicious and interesting. I heard nothing but positives said about the food that evening. They also cook at The Fenton so I will definitely be going there to eldest out their standard menu.

Lovely food, not greasy at all like some fish shops can be! Proper hand cut chips and made to order fish, very enjoyable. The two staff were very friendly, even gave us a free homemade fishcake (which was 10/10!) and extra chips! Will definitely be back!

What an absolute gem! We went to this place before going to the football and it was delightful. The food was to die for. I had beef brisket (please keep this on the menu), was so tasty. The place was really good value. Also, the two servers in there were so chatty and lovely. Credit to them for making our visit so enjoyable.

Go twice weekly and grately missed when theyre not open. Staff are always lovley and welcoming, food is cheap and cheerful. Also they made me a (very yummy) birthday cake. Couldn't ask for a nicer place to eat

I’ve been here several times and the food is always so fresh and tasty. It’s a friendly neighbourhood cafe, but also I genuinely think it has the best breakfasts in Leeds!

Great value breakfast including drinks for just over £20,nice surroundings spotlessly clean, well presented staff just what we needed.

The shop has brilliant staff and a excellent service but one staff member Sarah goes the extra 10 miles.always happy friendly she will be missed so much by me and I am sure many others when she leaves on Saturday.marks out of 10 definitely 100 in my book .Good luck Sarah keep on smiling Amanda xxx

Nipped in for sandwich and drink as just arrived to stay at the pub for a few days x Lovely lady - quirky place very welcoming ! Had lovely salmon and cream cheese sandwich with tea and selfish carrot cake x Dog friendly too x Well worth a visit just for the cake 🍰 yum !!
