Great food and lovely staff, really helpful and professional while dealing with a lot of big groups - still looked after us well!

Stayed here every time i come to york for work. Stayed here march 10- 14, great service, nice selection in the breakfast and the dinner menu is good too

Visited the Hotel Restaurant after checking in late… was pleasantly surprised. Karl was attentive and friendly. The food came quickly and was tasty.

Breakfast was wondering friendly staff, clean and tidy, would come again if travelling here again well placed within the area

We came for the Sparkling after noon tea, which was lovely. Amazing service and friendly staff. The scone with jam and Cream was our favourite, this was brought out warm so even better!

Well, what can we say , ordered food just before closing time at 22.30 and food was absolutely amazing, really really top quality food cooked to perfection and served with a smile. Couldn’t do enough for us to ensure we were happy. Breakfast next morning was again wonderfully freshly cooked and we were attended to By Renita, Renita was the perfect host and ensured our every whim was attended to. Thank you so much, will return.

Lovely afternoon tea. Lots of nice cakes and a large scone with plenty of clotted cream. Some more sandwiches would have been nice.

Ideally located for touring the city. Friendly, welcoming staff. Comfortable rooms with all mod cons. Restaurant staff were efficient and helpful. They provided a delicious bowl of porridge when requested. Particularly George and his team on Saturday 24th Feb.

The cooked breakfast was plentiful, warm and very tasty. The continental selection was varied and nice. The staff were very welcoming.

We had a very lovely dinner. The menu was extensive with a wide variety of choices and reasonable prices, the service was great from Rashi and Ambar that were very attentive and very patient with us. I highly recommend this as an easy enjoyable dinner, especially if staying in the hotel.

We attended the Novotel York today for an afternoon tea. Our full experience was excellent from the lady on reception to Joe who looked after us during our experience. Would highly recommend.
