The best restaurants in Strensall York Yorkshire and The Humber

Fantástico café amable, justo lo que Strensall necesitaba. Todo el día los desayunos son increíbles, prueba a tener huevo revuelto con él ¡no te decepcionará! También me encantan los paninis, especialmente el tocino Brie & cranberry, este viene con una ensalada de acompañamiento aderezada y ensalada de col que es increíble y hecho en casa. El café con leche de avena es una de mis bebidas favoritas, pero también me encanta el té y los batidos. El personal es muy amable y todo va más allá para que te sientas bienvenido. Si aún no lo has hecho, te lo estás perdiendo.

Called in as we were passing. Now planning to go back. The food quality is very high.

A small comfy garden centre cafe. Excellent drinks and toasted tea cake. Interesting choices of cake. The bread on sale was superb.

Didn't stay there, I'm staying locally. Tried to book a table for Sunday roast but was told that they no longer serve meals. Also their website shows a menu and no mention of food no longer being served. We did stay for a drink and the atmosphere was friendly. It is a child and dog friendly pub.

Just had an amazing meal for two here. Staff were lovely, food was outstanding and great menu. Just wish we lived closer so we could go back again to try more of the menu.

Fuimos a la media luna para almorzar con mi mamá y papá para un regalo de cumpleaños! Fue increíble como siempre, productos de alta calidad y la carne de res era increíble! Bebidas fabulosas y el servicio fue insuperable! Muy recomendable Bien hecho a Sam y el equipo xx

Precioso desayuno en un centro de jardinería. Llamamos aquí de camino a casa un domingo cuando el Highwayman estaba cerrado. Los huevos escalfados se cocinaron a la perfección en un delicioso pan casero. El sándwich de tocino de nuevo en pan casero era tan sabroso, y wow . . . . los hachís estaban tan crujientes! Servicio encantador y todo servido muy rápido. Definitivamente llamaré de nuevo.

The Ship lnn is a traditional village pub. There's a good choice of draught drinks, including three cask conditions real ales. The ones I sampled wearing excellent condition. There are TVs in the bar showing the spot. It's a nice cosy pub. I haven't tried the food, so I can't comment. The pub is dog friendly and listed in the camra good beer guide.

I'm not one for leaving reviews but the food was that poor I will leave a review. Ordered a Beef Kung Po, on the menu it stated that it was a hot dish! The sauce had no heat at all, it wasn't even mild. The onions, carrots, peppers etc had absolutely no taste at all. The beef was almost tasteless as well. If you closed your eyes you couldn't tell what you were eating. And no, there is nothing amiss with my sense of taste. The only part of the dish that had some taste was the one solitary mushroom. If I could give a no or minus star rating I would. One thing is for certain I will never be getting food from this takeaway ever again.

Precioso cuidado en carretera en un lay - a las afueras de York. Muy limpio, muy buena comida, pero un poco más caro que la mayoría de los lugares similares. El servicio era genial y el personal era amable y servicial.

The Six Bells is a large modern comfortable sam smiths pub, so it has the sam smiths range of beers. I like the bitter and largers, and they also do some nice bottled beers. There is a cosy bar with a pool table and a large main room for meals. The staff are friendly mobile phones and dogs are banned.
