Really nice food and great service

We’ve eaten here on many occasions and cannot fault the food or the service. BUT, tonight we were seated next to a table of four blokes who not only were loud and raucous but their language was appalling. It spoilt what should have been a very pleasant evening out. What a shame!

Absolutely amazing kebab! One of the best I’ve ever had — juicy, flavorful, and perfectly grilled. The portion size was generous, and the service was friendly and fast. Highly recommended for anyone craving real, delicious grilled meat. I’ll definitely be coming back!

First time in. Food was great. Could not believe we paid £9 each for a two course meal. Good portions, great service. Has no alcohol licence but has amazing tea. VALUE FOR MONEY Worth a visit

Met my friend today at Mr & Mrs. Very friendly staff and nice food and coffee. I had a baked potato with salad and my friend had a sandwich. Definitely recommend and not expensive.

Arrived while still open no fish in a fish and chip shop lol use the place a lot but unfortunately won’t be using it again as it’s not the first time it’s happened And you can see what sort of establishment this is by the abusive reply the owner has left.

Tonight's meal was not as impressive as previous meals.The service was let down by staff constantly wanting to take our plates before we had finished eating and drinking.

Food really tasty, generous portion sizes and the staff were friendly and made you feel welcome from walking through the door

I'm rewriting my review and reluctantly at best. I've dropped from 5 stars to 3 Stars because I don't feel like the service has been great lately. The past couple of times we have ordered, everything the delivery driver drops off our order she is always gabbing on the phone with someone. On top of that last time I ordered I reported my sandwich was wrong. Not only was it the wrong size, after calling and advising of this (no offer to remake) I noticed the filling was also incorrect (salad wise, tomatoes instead of cucumber ect) this time around we were left waiting an hour and 20 minutes for 3 sandwiches, only to be greeted at the door with the driving yet again yacking away on the phone. Also to top all this off is a 50/50 wether an item is forgotten in the order. I will order again and hope for a better service.

Have to say that this place is a lovely and friendly place to eat in. Inside is clean and tidy, bright and welcoming. We took advantage of the mid week offer for a 3/4 course meal for about £20 each. Food was well cooked and very tasty, maybe not as hot as i would like from a spice angle but, nonetheless it was very nice. Waiter and front of house were friendly and it is worth mentioning its a CASH ONLY place so will need to go to the bank before. Its also an alcohol free unless you take your own with you. all in all a great evenings meal and very much will be going back.

Best place you can have a drink in Ossett. Nice beer garden with play areas for the kids.

2nd visit to this place meals had gone up in price but so had the quality excellent steak pie slightly to salty only real issue is that the carpark is far too small fortunately there is road parking available a short distance away

Went in the restaurant for a change very bright and enjoyed it. great staff food was hot and tasty give it a go loved it
