There was a huge difference between the price on the menu and the price we paid at the cash register and it was irrelevant. I had dinner here with my guest and when we paid for the meal at the cash register, they asked us for exactly twice the price on the menu. I feel like I've been scammed. Let this be the end, will we ever be in this restaurant again? Never !

The food test is so good just the fish i will tell them next time to make well done, the kabab is so tasty and the yogurt is very nice

place is disgusting, food is disgusting, staff are horrible, but maybe if the owner paid staff more than £3.15 an hour for illegal workers it would probably help. Standing smoking at the front door that customers have to walk through is embarrassing, and even more embarrassing when the restaurant is not busy and they’re standing outside staring at young girls in passing making them feel uncomfortable. They also don’t clean the place at the end of the night, they leave everything until the morning when the owner sends his little slave working illegally for £3.15 per hour in to clean it (which he doesn’t even clean it properly)!! AVOID before trading standards shut them down!

Rang to place an order amd went for collection got back to work and opened up the food . The chicken wings were raw and there was no chicken shish . Further to this the lamb kobeda had a smell to it as if the meat was old. Ended up binning it and ordered from elsewhere. Sent the pictures of the raw chicken to the owner no response or no refund . Paid in cash as it was cash only. Will never be ordering again Just to add to this my work colleague actually for really ill as he partially ate one of the wings before realising they were raw. Have reported this to food standards

It was an amazing experience as I was trying this for the first time. I had so many middle eastern dishes before but this was completely different from the others I had. Very delicious food, very nice ambience, they give a really big portion of food for that price and so many extra free curries. The waiter's behaviour was very welcoming. If you are nearby definitely visit..

The food is nice service is normally good, but a few times I have gone for some food and the chef's gone missing, so when you are hungry it's not nice. Although most things are good.The place needs major refurbishment and a clean it's very dirty.

I come all the way from huddersfield to eat here been 6x so far. Lovely food, great friendly staff .. my kids first choice to dine in... i dont mind coming all this way to eat here, its not to expensive its warm, friendly welcoming and healthy. Planning a visit this wkend again 👍

The food was ok but the service was absolutely shocking, we paid after ordering in cash, after we had finished we got up to leave as we were leaving we were asked if we’d paid. Before we could answer about 5 men came from the kitchen & blocked the door preventing us from leaving with some of the staff grabbing & pushing us to stop us from leaving. At this point other customers left there seats & started to shout at us with the staff, with some of them shouting ‘you pay twice’. We were forced to wait & watch the CCTV to check we’d paid, they took a significant amount of time playing with the CCTV, if I was being cynical I’d say they were hoping we’d avoid the hassle by paying them twice. After the CCTV showed we had clearly paid after ordering, the staff became very sheepish after being incredibly confrontational & let us leave. It didn’t seem like this was the first time they’d tried to scam customers out of money. If you don’t believe the review it’s all on their own CCTV provided it’s not been deleted. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE. Unfortunately 1 star is the lowest review they don’t even deserve that. I couldn’t believe that any of the staff could ‘forget’ we’d paid 30 minutes before, the member of staff that took the payment was constantly winking at us throughout the disagreement & after originally saying he ‘couldn’t remember’ being paid he then asked how much change he’d given us.

very very rude we normally come get offered a free lentil soup and a nice welcome from the staff. after today I reckon I will take my service to some one else as we normally send a lot of people to this place to top it off the owner is very miserable wont be coming here again

Well what can I say, WOW! I always used to drive past this place and before Zelan was opened a family ran bakery business was opened here. Since Zelan took over the place has always been very ambient, popular and inviting. Today I went with my friends and when we stepped inside it was different, Since zelan opening a new eat in area was opened. A nice gentleman greeted us and took our order, there was a variety of foods on the menu but we went with the Chicken Shawrma on naan. We purchased two bottles of 500ml water only costing 50p! Whilst we waited for our fresh chicken shawarma on naan, the owner brought us two bowls of fresh, piping hot lentil soup. It was absolutely delicious and the best part is, that there is a variety of spices and condiments on every table such as chilli flakes, paprika, salt and pepper for taste. After eating the delicious soup the main meal arrived, the piping hot chicken shawrma was served with a fresh salad and fresh baked naan. It gave me a taste of my visit to Saudi Arabia where I enjoyed fresh street food. This place is very delicious, welcoming and cheap! I can definitely say that I will be back!

Food here is absolutely delicious 😋 hospitable and prompt service. Nan breads are the best EVER. The homous, falafel, okra and potatoe stews are yummy. Can't wait to eat my way through the whole menu.
