Great place went strawberry picking had a walk round something to eat .food Was really good and bought some goodies. Really nice day out.staff we're lovely and friendly.

We love coming here for lunch but the last couple times the food has dropped in quality. This time round I had the duck salad and my daughter had a chicken salad. The salad on both was lacklustre, no onion, no coleslaw and barely enough meat for an adults portion. The service and friendliness of the staff was first class as always. Hopefully the standards drop is a temporary thing.

Didn't see a combine harvester in the field as I was promised.

Went for Sunday family breakfast. Super menu and atmosphere.

Arrived Saturday lunchtime, Moo Cafe was quite busy tho got a booth seat, had a voucher for afternoon tea, ordered the savoury afternoon tea (two for £40 or £35 if after 3pm) staff were all friendly & helpful, although it took a long time for 2nd cup of coffee to arrive, my husband had almost finished eating & we asked again, it was brought straight away then. The sandwich bread was dry on the top & must have been pre-made & sat for a while though everything else was really nice, I don't like lamb so swapped my kofta for my husbands sandwich - was plenty of food & brought some home.

Fantastic time picking sunflowers, with lots of cute places for photos as well. Lovely peaceful vibes with great views. Staff were very friendly, really went above and beyond! The ice cream alone is worth the visit, recommend the hokey pokey flavour ( caramel and honeycomb) but even the vanilla was so tasty!

Very poor always been pleased with it but not this time no milk in machine

We visited the sunflower 🌻 fields this time and it was amazing. So many fantastic photo opportunities and our 17 month old loved running round looking at all of the different props. The sunflowers were beautiful and we even brought some home with us.

Visited by chance. Glad we did. Enjoyed coffee and. Cake and took away a real well filled roll of salad and choice of cook meat Will call again when in the area

Over priced and very noisy, the portion sizes are not value for money. Not a place I would recommend.

Service was fast and friendly , disappointed with the food though , nothing posh about the posh fishfinger sandwich , 1 large fishfinger in a Breadcake for £11.00, the cheese n pickle sandwich was expensive for what it was with a bit of lettuce on the side no dressing , we won’t be returning to the cafe

Went here on Sunday for the second time as I enjoyed it so much last time especially the shop with loads of locally farmed & fresh produce to choose from. Sunday lunch was amazing (again) as was the 10 acre plot of Sunflowers, Strawberry picking fields & PYO Pumpkin plot. All the staff were warm, friendly & welcoming. A great way to chill out with friends and family!

Had a lovely afternoon sunflowers picking with my daughter and grandkids. Quick bite to eat with all 3 flavours of loaded fries, delicious, and on to ice cream parlour. Ice cream was amazing and good value.

Lovely place to visit with kids very relaxing and staff are very friendly. We had a really nice time picking fresh strawberries and eating freshly made icecream at the café. The kids and adults alike enjoyed a ride on the tractor ride. I would definitely recommend this place.

Good place for farm shopping food and good quality fresh produce, only visited the farm shop but the place had a few cafes and restaurants for other foods

Excellent place to spend a few hours or an afternoon. The fruit picking is very good value. The farm shop is excellent and has lots of free samples! Kitchen/restaurant is top quality and food is spot on. Very clean grounds and the staff are very helpful. Lot of parking available. They also do events and have accomodation available to hire.

We really enjoyed the Sunflower field and was going to end the trip with a visit to the cafe. However, we got a seat and was told somebody would be with us 'in a minute'. We had decided what we were having and tried to get the attention of the 3 waitresses who were on duty and were busy chatting. As nobody came over for a good 10 minutes we decided to leave without ordering.

Live local to this place, came for strawberry picking, was lovely and well designed, tad expensive though. Shame theres no animals at this farm, my toddler was asking to see the animals, I do remember it having some which was a shame to realise they've now gone. Would make a better day out if there was some rather than straights to shops to spend more money.

My friend ordered sausage and yorkshire pudding he said sausages were not nice and yorkshire pudding was hard he could not cut through it

Stopped for a spot of strawberry picking which did not disappoint. Great price for superb quality strawberries in a stunning location! Visited the cafe which is usually superb but this time not so good. Ordered the posh fish butty but nothing posh about it, Just bland and unappealing with some soggy vegetable crisps. (The same fish finger was used for a child's fish fingers mash and peas) Maybe it's my fault for ordering fish in a farm shop cafe! Visited the shop afterwards which was brilliant as usual with some amazing produce on offer, so we made sure we took lots home and yes, nothing disappointed at all, everything was absolutely outstanding!

Called into the Moo Cafe. The first time we visited , we had a dessert in mind. We were not disappointed. Chose strawberry & chocolate cheesecake 😋😍 Absolutely gorgeous!! Thank you to Tia, she was fantastic and very helpful. Will definitely be back 💕

Waited ages for food food orders wrong and lunch cold had to ask for gravy on Sunday dinner not good and probably wouldn't go back given the price you pay for it too

We came for lunch did not want anything big so ordered fish finger sandwich cost £11. We got very dry bun and one chunky fish finger. We also ordered club sandwich, that came so chunky because there was far too much bread, chicken cold and shredded too much meyo, bacon looked like it was cooked on dirty pan so not very tasty with burned bits from other foods. We decided to finish with ice cream from shop, asked for small scoop. We'll I got giant one I think it was to justfie the price £3.80. Would it not be better to price for small and large. The trouble with very large ice cream is it melts before you get half way. Please some of us cant manage to eat it at super fast speed.

Went today with my daughter whom is in a wheelchair all the farm and farm shop accessible. The cafe were we had a beautiful savoury afternoon tea with sweet potato fries to share was absolutely scrumptious. Plenty of food on the platter. Would highly recommend. Good Farm produce. Will be deffo returning.😃😄😃

Great Place, came for strawberry 🍓 picking but was closed so how nice to visit the shop about a few lovely local items locally sourced. A cheeky 2 scoop of 🍨🍦. Great day out x

It’s a destroyer of both diets and wallets Really good, you pay a bit more but it’s well worth it

First Farmtrax event, off the back of last year's Ponte Rocks. Good tributes, especially Absolute Bowie who can always be relied upon to give a brilliant performance. Good natured, well organised event. A good range of food and drink, free parking and access to Farmer Copleys shop and café.

Really enjoyed Farmtrax. Great atmosphere, staff fabulous... Will go again next year.

This is a review specifically for the Moo Cafe. Arrived during a Thursday lunchtime and was prompry given a table before then being ignored for 20 minutes. Told a member of staff that we hadn't been served yet and still nothing happened. Left without ever ordering or even being spoken to. Also worth noting: there are also no vegan options. Would not recommend.

Best farm shop I have ever been to!

. Years ago the restaurant was a decent place but atrocious now First of all , we sat outside as it was a decent day, tables were filthy, menus dirty. I had to ask 3 times to different members of staff if they could give our table a wipe, even offered to do this myself if they gave me a cloth. This woman came out with a sponge and a little bowl of water, she was scowling throughout, ( like I’d gone in her house and p@ssed on her kids! ) , I tried to make light of the situation whilst thanking her for her help, she said nothing just gave all our party filthy looks. The glasses were dirty, food dry and overcooked, one of us got a ham and pickle sandwich, it was drowned in pickle hardly any ham. I never saw any member of staff wipe a table outside, and dirty plates were left outside for ages before they collected them in. Spent £100 on a really bad experience, only positive was a couple of sausage rolls from the farm shop which was nice.

Very friendly, efficient and polite staff. We received a warm welcome and were seated promptly. Our order was taken in good time and the food arrived quickly. However, I've eaten better quality, more reasonably priced food in an NHS cafeteria. Cannot believe the prices vs the quality.

The quality of the produce is outstanding, and there is a really charming atmosphere in terms of the building layout itself, and even more so the friendly staff.

Excellent quality, large selection of products available. The homemade gelato ice cream is out of this world - we left with 4 tubs! The homemade fudge is delicious and waffles now also now available.

I recently visited the Farm Shop/Cafe. The food was delicious. The shop offers a variety of options, making it a great place to find most stuff you might need.

Great show, great venue, lovely staff . Take yr own chair and a blanket, gets chilly later on.

Visited for lunch prior to fruit picking. Plenty of pleasant staff, but huddled around in groups speaking which made service slow. Club sandwich was expensive for very little filling, as was the cheddar (grated) and pickle. Ice cream was nice, frappe was weak and watery. Would go again if prices were more reasonable or quality improved.

Just to say the waffles at £8 sound expensive but one waffle can easily be shared between two (they are big!), they are freshly baked and just gorgeous

Good reason to come off the A1(M) and find somewhere special for a coffee and a bite to eat. The farm shop has a good range of fresh foods in the chilled and deli cabinets. Pop next door to the restaurant for a drink and a bite to eat . The food always a high standard, sometimes you have to wait a bit after ordering.

Disappointing ! The scones were really dry and crumbly. Tea and coffee was good. Very noisy in the restaurant. The shop has some lovely produce but many things are available in the high street at a lot less cost and I don’t understand why so many of the ‘fresh’ fruit and veg are actually imported from abroad ?

A hidden gem in Pontefract. Highly recommend using the farm shop with all it has to offer.

Absolutely magical place, wonderful farmshop with a large selection of high-quality products, delicious coffee and ice cream. Free parking, family-friendly place with children and dogs, access for disabled people. During the season, additional attractions, music events, strawberry and pumpkin picking.

Has started to become my "usual" stop off when travelling cross country. Reliably good food with proper good portion sizes, lovely coffee and nice service.

Just about to cook my Copley's tea. What a lovely place. It's got a coffee shop, huge farm shop specialising in local foods, strawberry picking, a music festival in July...the most amazing place. And...the staff member who served me was just lovely.

I hope management looks after their wait staff because they are just the sweetest people. It really is the little things! We had a lovely time and good food. On the pricier side (e.g. £13 for a beef burger with 2 onion rings) but worth every penny because it’s clearly very fresh. Recommend the sweet potato fries with the mint sauce.

Try anything from the shop, you will not be disappointed. everything is lovely

We went for Sunday lunch and were approached immediately and given a table. Or food and drink orders were taken and payment required with order. This was OK if unusual for our eating out experiences. After a short wait our food arrived on piping hot plates but unfortunately the food was only aired. We asked for our drinks from the food waitress. Mo drinks came. We asked 3 different waitresses for our drinks and after me saying this is ridiculous we were served with them. In the mean time our favourite veg were served in a separate dish. Cabbage and broccoli BUT it was 80% stalks on both. I couldn't eat either. After we finished our meal 20 minutes passed and at least 12 waitresses passed us empty handed but never collected the plates. They were coming to the end of their shift and were standing about chatting to each other so not rushed doing other things. Eventually the haid waitress came and asked if we had enjoyed our meal so zi told her what had happened with us. She apologised and offered free puddings but we didn't want anything free. They really need new people to do the prepping. It was disgusting. I live locally but would never go for Sunday lunch again. I also advise.no one else to go unless they want stalks, cold food and very poor service.

After eating at Farmer Copley on quite a few occasions i feel i must say i am disappointed when having sunday dinner yesterday 12th May. Paid £14 for sunday dinner i asked if me and my cousin could have little more gravy. Was told there would be a charge for this. I was not prepared to pay for this and it resulted in both of our meals being left due to not enough gravy. Spoke to Caroline the manager who in the end asked us if we would like to have a sweet to take away. Can i make a suggestion instead of the chef deciding how much gravy a person likes on their sunday dinner .. put a little gravy on the plate and a gravy boat on the table. Its the least you can do. £14 is not a cheap sunday dinner and you certainly do not expect to pay for a little extra gravy to enjoy your meal 2 week previous we had a family sunday dinner there costing £130. Two members asked for more gravy .. no doubt on that occasion i bet we paid for it extra. Its a shame because i and my cousin really enjoy going there.

I was over charged and I had to explain why so they would refund me, I also didn't realise I was over charged on another meal until I had left but couldn't be bothered going back again.

Good quality food. Nice portions. Friendly and clean environment. Expensive but the quality certainly justifies the price.
