Arrived while still open no fish in a fish and chip shop lol use the place a lot but unfortunately won’t be using it again as it’s not the first time it’s happened And you can see what sort of establishment this is by the abusive reply the owner has left.

Do a great range of food from small fish & chips to pizza and cheesy chips. Caters for all tastes and pockets. All freshly cooked to order.

Tried here for a change because our local one closes Saturday tea time, for some reason. Good prices, really nice fish and friendly staff. Will definitely be coming back.

Very polite and friendly staff. The food is brilliant. Easily best in the area. The fish is full of flavour and no burns or freezer burns. Chips are perfect, no wasted and crap chips. I recommend to anyone to use this chippy.

I got told my order was 16.20 but looked at my card today and been charged 17£ so next time I'll be getting a receipt as they don't show you the machine amount a bit cheeky as who kept rest and how many more do they do it too or just a mistake???

Well we were promised the best Kebabs ever and these guys never failed! Absolutely beautiful and Tasty. WOW The best kebabs we've had in years 😋 well done 😊

The fish whilst on the expensive side was excellent it was freshly cooked to order. Unfortunately the same could not be said of the chips which when we got home to eat (5 mins away) were pretty cold and were not fresh, they were old ones which was a shame. If it was just for me I would have gone back, the rest of my family however decided to eat them and moan afterwards! Update in reply to owner's comments: The 3 star rating was not due to the expensive fish, it was due to the poor quality and nearly cold chips. If you are at the "losing end" how can you stay in business?

Fish cooked fresh to order,decent portions little pricey but you get what you pay for

After a very long day on the road Ferrybridge Fish and chips was just what we needed. Lovely friendly welcome and very tasty fish and chips. I ordered the large cod which was freshly cooked and the accompanying chips were excellent. We wish this was our local fish and chip shop but as we live in Norwich it’s a bit too far to travel. Highly recommend. (I marked four stars for atmosphere as it was getting late and obviously not very busy)

First time having fish and chips from here as we are new to the area and certainly didn’t disappoint would highly recommend, will be going back to try the rest of the menu!

I live in Doncaster but always make an effort to nip into this chippy when I'm over Ferrybridge way The food is amazing, and the friendly staff top it off nicely.

Sadly very unimpressed. I like a nice thin crisp batter but it was too thick (crisp on outside and slimy on the inside)

Just been in here for fish and chips Absolutely 💯% the best fish and chips I have had in years the batter on the fish was lovely and crispy never went soggy like most do the fish was pure white very tasty will defo be a regular here the shop is also spotlessly clean.Thankyou guys really enjoyed our meal 😋 👌

Me and the wife have been getting our fish & chips from here for a few years now, allways excellent and well cooked crispy batter & juicy fish, and chips that are cooked just right thanks, for the good service

Proper nice food, we had two kids meals and I can't tell you how happy I was to get two plastic cartons of juice, yeah they're in the freezer as I type #winningatlife We also had a regular fish and chips and a lightly battered fish butty. Gravy and curry. Everything was bloody lovely. Nothing was greasy and even the shop smelled clean....not like hospital and cleaning products clean, like not greasy kinda clean. It was bloody lovely. Staff were also lovely and we even had a giggle with them while we waited. Get yourself round there and get some reet lovely grub. We paid £19.80 in total and it was more than worth it.

Hate leaving a bad review for a local firm but today's fish and chips were terrible. Soggy batter and fish that definitely were mot the freshest. I'm sorry but I won't be back.

Lovely fish and chips....when they have them. Fed up of going in and them saying "be 5 minutes for fish". Its Saturday dinner time and it's a fish and chip shop with queue of people...guess what they want!!!
