Under new management from June 2024. Busy with sports and outdoor bands. Great atmosphere and friendly service. ***UPDATE*** Like a fine wine, getting much better with age!

Just called in as it's just re-opened. Sat in beer garden and had a few ice cold drinks on a hot day and returned in the evening as there was a live band on.. great day all round

Very nice staff :) Edit: just saw that they were giving up the pub so I'm very sad but it has been great there and I hope I can go again before it sells

Short stay but find the Premier Inn on the whole best value for money. Room clean and comfortable And tend to enjoy a drink at their pubs

Outside drinking and entertainment, landlady really friendly and made us very welcome ,wide variety of drinks outside singer was really good,Hope the weather improves but it didn't spoil our fun, good friendly local pub

A fantastic local pub with everything reasonably priced. The staff and locals are very friendly. It has a decent sized beer garden at the back and also offers a pool table and dart board. I highly recommend the free pub quiz on a Sunday evening as it's always good fun.

Attended a christening nearby and called in for a drink, it was a very old fashioned pub that had not caught up with the times. They did not stock mineral water and various popular soft drinks. The facilities were very Spartan and it's not somewhere I would go again

Great family vets. I travel 15 miles to use this vets. Could use a larger waiting room but there is a seoarate waiting area for cats if desired

Had a night out to celebrate my friends birthday and althought the drinks are pricey the atmosphere and especially the staff was superb :-) a very pleasant evening and zara the barlady was superb and very pleasant also xxxx a diamond she is :-)

It's a pud that you can hear yourself talk in. If you want more, do put turns on in the beer garden on a weekend weather permitting.
