Order before and pizza have been great but this time one of the pizzas was okay. But the ham on the hand and pineapple was awful! Couldn't eat it.

My first visit since moving to Wakefield. Couldn’t have picked a better day. Sunshining and sat outside. Really friendly staff and lovely local people. Internally the pub was immaculate. My go-to place now - loved it - thank you. The absolute BEST in the area without a doubt IMO

Food arrived late. App said delivered then turned up 30 mins late. Pizzas were both cold, thrown together and had an intense charcoal taste. Was gorgeous last time, so disappointed. Won't be ordering again.

We had to wait much longer for our pizzas to be ready, on arrival at the pub the pizzas hadn't even been started. Then when our order was ready, the pizzas were burnt on the crusts.

First time visitor. The wood fired pizzas are amazing and made even better by the fact it was half price Tuesday. Banging pizza and chips for less than £7!!!. Can't fault it. Will defo be back

Food was late and had to chase. When it finally arrived it wasn’t up to the usual standard… pizza base was undercooked and it was clear fresh ingredients hadn’t been used for the toppings i.e. cooked chicken from a packet and tinned mushrooms? The calzone was sloppy and watery. Very disappointing as we’ve had amazing pizza’s from here before.

Pizzas used to be really good but feel as though the quality has gone down which is a shame because there aren’t many places to eat out in Stanley. Also the clientele has become a bit rowdy and not really nice to sit in anymore.

Was expected between 8-8.20,didn’t arrive till after 9 and order at 6.30, think that’s a long time to make 3 pizzas chips and garlic bread. If I had been made aware deliver was 3 hrs wouldn’t have bothered.

They read the notes on my Just Eat order too, which I love. Shows they care. Delivered on time to a patient at Pinderfields Hospital. Even sent me a freebie with a kind note from the staff. ❤️ As a long term inmate of Pinders, this made my day!

Recommended Waggon & Horses by a work colleague and this place didn’t disappoint. Lovely pizza, generously topped and of great quality. The cheesy fries were also very nice.

Normally, we love a Wagon pizza. Quick, tasty and on time. This time the pizzas took over 2.5 hours to arrive and was like warm and not the same as normal. I had to message AND ring to get an update on where things were and despite ordering at 7 we didn't eat until nearly 10pm. I wasn't satisfied with the response from the restaurant or the Pepsi they chucked in as I don't drink it. Real shame.

Got a 6inch wrap and had apx 2 strips of meat in! Absolutely atrocious! All bread ! Stick to pizza! Won’t be rushing back

Food is spot on, especially the pizza from the clay oven right next to the bar inside. Always a good crowd in the few times I have been with everyone enjoying themselves.

Amazing breakfast the sausage was one of the nicest I have ever had on a breakfast only issue the 2 cans of Pepsi were missed. Will order again tho

It's very tasty and delivered hot. Best tasting pizzas around Wakefield that I've had in a long time.

Delivery time was delayed once then turned up after the latest time stated, only a Tuesday evening too. When the food did turn up though it was clearly freshly cooked and still hot. We all enjoyed the pizzas, the sauce with the calzone was on the watery side so would have been better if it was thicker. Would use again.

Went for breakfast before going out for a weekend away. All food cooked to order and really good quality and as a bonus including unlimited coffee or tea. Well recommended

My daughter ordered food via just eat on Friday 21st July The Chinese in question delivered to the wrong address and said they would refund my daughter but are now saying they won't! This is outrageous and virtually theft as they know it was delivered to wrong house as their delivery driver was trying to get answer from where they delivered to but no one would come to the door! Please advise!

Pizza was perfect, the loaded fries however were very a disappointing you’d expect to have at least some bacon on but there was literally 2 small pieces! Apart from that the food was great

Pretty good pub that feels small but is pretty big. Good choice of drinks and really excellent pizzas. Only downside is the gobby groups you sometimes get out the back but over all really good.

u forgot my garlic bread and when it arrived it was burnt

Decent prices and tasted nice. We’ll be ordering again. We live 3miles away and expected it to be late, but it landed within the times they gave us.

Far too long wait. From ordering to delivery was 1 hour 50 minutes. Would collect in future as it is less than 5 minutes away but only if the order would be ready in a reasonable time from ordering. Spoiled the meal as very late to eat.

Pizza was fantastic Nduja on point, base a great blend of thin and crispy with the right amount of flexibility. I was disappointed with loaded fries as served in a paper bag with low quality cheese and hardly any bacon, given the standard of the pizza felt like this was thrown together by a child a tale of two half's.

After eating out regularly at our local, decided to hav takeaway but the only edible thing was chips as they were warm. Pizza burnt and luke warm not what we had when dining in, same with the garlic bread also burnt and had very bitter taste to the same one we usually have when eating in. Really gutted as the only thing I had eaten was chips so left starving and very disappointed as I always recommend this place to my friends!

Absolutely beautiful pizzas, always consistent and really fast delivery.

Order took 1 hour 35 mins to arrive ( on a Wednesday night ) food decent enough when it came but was missing a Pepsi off the order.

No real food just eve pizza. but comfy pub

30 minutes late delivering, food cold on arrival and had to be rewarmed which made it soggy.

Fantastic hospitality, great prices, especially if you want a gin tree or one of the other drinks bundles. They also do amazing freshly cooked pizzas and kebabs. If sport is your thing, then you definitely won’t be disappointed they have several large screen is showing all the top events

A little disappointed with my order today. Ordered a calzone last week and it was beautiful. In fact one of the best I've tried. I ordered pizza today and it arrived cold and asked for no mushrooms and it came with them on and delivery was slightly late. Hope its just a one off as I previously enjoyed it. Can't say the same tonight though unfortunately

Majority of the pizzas were delicious however one of the pizzas we ordered was what appeared to be a vegan pizza online however when we got home we notice that we were given a pizza with regular cheese (plenty of experience with vegan cheese over the years and this definitely wasn’t vegan cheese) which is disappointing especially when we ordered it due to allergies.

The food is delicious, however tonight it took over 1hour 30 min for delivery & the base was overcooked , burnt .

Best pizzas around not one ounce of grease in the box which is rare! Always changing and adding things to the menu which is great , food is always fresh , meatballs are lovely x never fails !

Fantastic! I don't usually write reviews but I just felt that I had to give this place credit where it is due. Most takeaways around here are trash and don't value the quality of their food, this one clearly does, the pizza dough had taste and was delicious, will definitely be ordering from here again!

FINALLY!!! A good ITALIAN pizza. I've tried many pizzerias in Wakefield even those with high ratings but all of them taste the same - saltless dough made without any passion or love BUT this one... this is NEAPOLITAN style pizza. Dough has taste! Is light and fluffy. Souce is pure and simple. I also ordered a garlic mayo sauce but it was really bad souce. Very sour. Delivery was fast. Although this is my favorite pizza in Wakefield. Thank you guys!

Pizzas are so tasty from here and the staff are brilliant pleasant and so helpful, I don't go in many pubs but this place is so friendly well worth calling in

Food was amazing however we waited over 45 minutes for our food to arrive then I got a notification saying it had arrived but it hadn’t. Rang the restaurant and told them and they tried to tell me they had delivered it but then told me it had been delivered to an address that was not mine. They did make us fresh food and it was delivered within half an hour.

Staff are very attentive, nice atmosphere. Singer was amazing. Had a slight delay with our food order but it was well worth the wait. Today was my 3rd visit to the Waggon after moving to the area. I hope the lady who dealt with our 'complaint' was the manager, if not she should be. Always happy to help and make sure we have all we need. Thank you.

I must say I found this place by mistake park up the road for a over night in the truck my gosh what can I say you got give this places a try best pizza iv had in ages nicely priced as well nice friendly place would love to visit again 😀 😋
