Went in the restaurant for a change very bright and enjoyed it. great staff food was hot and tasty give it a go loved it

Ordered two milkshakes and two kinder cookie doughs, took nearly 2 hours ordered at 9:08 delivered at 10:50 only order due to it saying delivery time 20-40minutes, once they finally came it all tasted very cheap, the snickers milkshake was lukewarm and tasted like they tried using cheap nuts and chocolate sauce to make their own snickers, also very watery. The kinder cookie dough, was awful, no Kinder about it maybe one little kinder bar broke up and then drowned in cheap tasting sauce, the actual cookie dough just tasted very sickly and was like chewing pure sugar, the ice cream was also a pot of melted cream (not to blame to restaurant as it was a very warm day but definitely something they should look into)

Really friendly staff. Got lotus biscoff Brownie and cookie dough...amazing. Good portions and tasty. Clean shop.

We have just ordered food to be delivered. We have waited 50 mins with no sign of delivery. When we telephoned all we got was you will have to sort out with Deliveroo not our problem as we have closed for delivery. They are not interested and don’t appear to want to sort out so this doesn’t happen again. Very poor customer service. Do not order from this place.

I ordered 2 freak shakes ( the special one and the kinder one) tonight for me and my sister and they both were delicious , would definitely order again! And the delivery driver was so polite and friendly. I recommend this place to anyone!!

We have had multiple deliveries from Gelato, I love their fresh milkshakes, my fiancee loves the cookie dough. Very Tasty!!! Delivery staff are really polite as well.

Ordered 3 Biscoff cheesecakes as a little treat having had some in the summer that I loved. Arrived within half an hour but it was absolutely awful - strange consistency and no flavour; just dry and powdery. My 10 yr old actually asked “why is it like a sponge?”. I can only hope this is not their usual recipe and they mistakenly sent vegan cheesecake ? otherwise they have simply sucked every bit of flavour out of what was once a delicious cheesecake.

Ordered few times on Just eat as Always quality food arrived now fast delivery always polite well worth it. Really enjoy desserts from here and we are repeat customers now. Nothing beats a treat

I went to this place Sunday evening and I bought two scoops - one raspberry (which was white?) and one chocolate, and it was awful, I had to throw both away, couldn’t stand it. Certainly not gelato as Italy would be turning in its grave knowing this cheap and bad quality ice cream was being produced. Then I left a review on google - in which I was called a liar and that I never even went to the shop! Well, I hope this more detailed review proves to you I was. I have attached their response on this post. Also what was more shocking, is I paid £4.98 for two small scoops of awful, bad flavourings filled and artificial colourings loaded rubbish. Do not go. Use quality gelato and learn how to do ice cream with honour and pride!

Me & my friend went to Gelato last night, we ordered 2 crepes with melted chocolate and strawberries on, we were then told it was £7.50 each (rip off for what we received!). We were asked if we wanted to dine in or take out by a very rude young girl who was serving us. We said we would take away, we were then rudely told to go wait outside (in the pouring rain, there was no other customers in the shop so we could of stuck to social distancing) and someone would bring the crepes straight out to us. We waited for 25 minutes for our crepes before I eventually went back in to see what was taking so long (baring in mind there was 5-6 staff members in the shop). We were given our crepes and went home to eat them, we opened the box to 2 soggy rubbery crepes that had no flavour at all, instead of the melted chocolate that we had asked and paid for, we were given chocolate sauce which you would put on an ice cream and minimal strawberries. Would not recommend to my worst enemy such a waste of money! We were absolutely disgusted at how rude the staff were and how bland/rubbery the food was! Bad service, bad food, rude staff!

Ice Cream choices weren’t available. We couldn’t use our taste card despite its use being advertised on the Taste Card App and website. Even the owner was called who told his employee that they weren’t taking them at the moment. Ended up having to have cones. It was ok but not the best. We won’t be back.

Best takeaway in five towns mush, absolutely smash their waffles, shakes with r lass. Yeah man nice food 100% recommended this takeout to anyone. Probs placing an order as you’re reading this😆 soonn🤘🏽

Im not one to EVER complain but this was the first time (and the last) I have ordered from this place. 2 hours it took to deliver the items I ordered. I called and they told me it would be 5 mins. 25 mins passed...

My mum and sister took my children and nephew here for a treat after visiting Pontefract Castle (its just a short walk up the hill past the bus station on a street just off the main precinct in town). They had a fantastic experience there...

We ordered for the first time today. The waffles are amazing. The strawberry one needed a bit more chocolate sauce, but thats just my preference. The oreo one was spot on. The kids loved them. We will be seeing you again. Thanks

We ordered some naughty, late night desserts online about 20 minutes before they closed but they still delivered when they promised after hours. The chap who dropped our food off was lovely and the treats were super. I’ll definitely use them again.

Ordered from here a few times....the desserts are fabulous and really tasty but there always seems to be a sauce missing and it does not look like their pictures at all so slightly disappointed with that. Gelato flavours are fab. Banoffee is my favourite.

Very prompt delivery of fabulous late night sweet treats. Super tasty and just like they are described on the menu. Will definitely visit or order again.

Have been to the resteraunt many times and always enjoy the food. The staff are very polite and friendly and the resteraunt is very clean. My daughter especially loves the waffles and the ice cream is delicious. Due to covid we ordered online for delivery...

I went with my friend and it was lovely, fabulous deserts and lots of options, very accommodating to vegan options too, two different vegan cheesecakes and sorbets! The staff were lovely and very friendly!

Our first visit and will definitely be going again. Myself and my two sons had waffles which were lovely and the ice cream was delicious, my husband had the fondue with fruit and chocolate sauce and ice cream. Lots of things to choose from and will be back soon.
