Great atmosphere, bar staff are friendly especially Julie always makes you feel welcomed. Food is fantastic value for money you won’t leave feeling hungry. Had the steak on Wednesday and it was spot on Tony.

Couldn't fault it really, I had a lamb steak and it was delicious, the meat was so tender it melted in my mouth. My wife had cajun chicken which she said was delicious and the portions were enormous. Excellent.

Lovely village pub. Very friendly staff welcoming. Nicely appointed with separate dinning area and beer garden to rear. Great food proper traditional Sunday lunch 1,2 or 3 course prices as well as small / oap size. Quick efficient service. Good selection of Gins and ales. Glad we found this place will be back again.

Went on Sunday 1st December for Sunday roast with my family. The food was delicious the staff were very friendly and it was a great pub .nothing not to like to be honest. Will definitely go again.

Parking on the road side or a small car park to the rear. The lunch was well cooked and nicely presented great value a large or small meal available, staff were really polite and helpful, well behaved children welcome. Book a table in the restaurant or eat the bar same menu. Good choice of beers and wines, thank you.

Visited May Day event on Saturday May 4th, met friends in the Boot and Shoe pub, staff really helpful even though the place was packed out, Daniella especially nice, locals friendly too, great community spirit, heard the food is good, so will book soon.
