Thought we would call at this pub after thirty odd years since last visit.Glad to say it hasn’t changed a bit.Warm and welcoming ,people friendly and free titbits on the bar.Dec landlord great host.Will return.

Went to a party here and they were really hospitable and couldn’t do enough for everyone. Since our visit we’ve booked our own party and again the owners have been very helpful and informative.

Beautiful fish and chips cooked to perfection. All the food is cooked to order and everything is tasty and hot.Great service, lovely pleasant staff always service with a smile. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of the food that is sold. I would reccomend this little gem of a shop to anyone.

Wow! Found this lovely cafe by chance today. We fastened our bikes up and sat inside the food was delicious and well presented, very reasonable too.

It’s taken me a while to write this review as I am so disappointed. We were seated at 3pm when we saw the older waitress , Jackie , eating leftovers and drinking round the corner. Additionally she failed to bring us our mandatory bread which we also saw her eat.i would like it to be noted the rest of the staff were very helpful and polite. An argument broke out between one of the younger members of staff and Jackie and she was heard swearing and threatening to send other staff members home. This was completely inappropriate to do infornt of customers. After we finished our meal we requested tea and coffee. Once again Jackie was seen drinking tea at the tea station. Food was lovely , not sure I will return due to certain members of staff.

Food was not very good quality. Staff didn't understand their own menu and over charged us and another family. Went 5 years ago the food was nice after todays visit will not be going back.

Absolutely fantastic lunch. The Ploughmans salads are the pride and joy of the chef whose name escapes me but I think it’s Mary or Maria? Well all we can say is no wonder they are her pride and joy because it’s wonderful! Well done chef! The ham was delicious,the pie tasty and the presentation is wonderful. The turkey and cranberry salad bowl was absolutely delicious and a really good value for money size. The service was first class, friendly, prompt and welcoming. A real find down the alleyway and we would definitely visit again.

Really nice food and great service

Popped in for breakfast one morning. I chose the veggie breakfast and it was delicious. Friendly staff, tasty food and a lovely little spot. Highly recommended!

Was rubbish tasted rank proper greasy has to brush mi teeth after a chip rang up coz they got my order wrong and just told em to cancel it shocking service put phone down on me n lot 🤣

pizza was nearly cold and not ready, potatoe fries not ready, white colour. very not nice food

Great dog friendly pub that does it all. Cocktails too!
