The Grange Family Bar in Wakefield

Went to a party here and they were really hospitable and couldn’t do enough for everyone. Since our visit we’ve booked our own party and again the owners have been very helpful and informative.

Can’t knock it. You’ll love the wide range of gins and beers available here. Private room available for functions and parties. An absolute must

The bar is situated not far from the centre yet located in a quiet and scenic setting . The whole area and bar is geared for families and all staff are welcoming and drink prices very good. A real hidden gem

Great place for families, couples and groups. Relaxing and friendly environment and lots to do, pool table, darts, ping pong and board games for the kids. Huge selection of gins and lots of evening events for adults. Definitely recommend

Excellent relaxed atmosphere somewhere that encourages you to bring the family. Free ps4 room,pool, table tennis, darts and even a poker table for the adults,lots of games for adults and children alike, but just watch out for the giant jenga competitions they can get a bit competitive. There is a quite room that is adult only if you want to get away from it all,Sunday lunches available which at present are bookings only and look out for monthly gin nights (summer months held by the lakeside)both available to book through their website.

Been for the first time this weekend with my family, we had such a warm welcome from the landlord and landlady, the pint was perfect and the missus was stuck for choice with the many gins on offer , our kids was entertained with the fantastic bouncy castle in the beer garden while we enjoyed our drinks, we will definitely be calling in very soon

Lovely cosy safe enviroment for families.. the gin bar is the best around the area! And staff cant do enough for you, cant wait to go again

Wow! What a place! Fantastic staff, who can't do enough for you. Always go above and beyond with everything they do. Amazing atmosphere, really great place to go for a drink or many gins. The new highly decorated and furnished function room is the ideal place for parties. With over 80 gins to try the gin night (1st Sept) was a huge success and we had a fab night and can't wait for the next one.

Last night 18th August 2018 we had a fantastic 21st bday party at The Grange in their new function room and it was brilliant. The room is modern with a quirky twist and plenty of room to spread out into the bar area and beer garden. The owners were very flexible on how the evening went and very friendly. Can't praise them enough.

Had my 21st in the brand new function room. Really impressed! Staff are wonderful and will go out of their way to make sure you have the best night. Would recommend without a doubt - also all my guests were impressed with the beautiful setting

Fantastic night had for the gin night. 8 of us went down and had an awesome night. Lots of Gins to try very friendly staff.
