The best restaurants in Sheffield Yorkshire and The Humber

The food is amazing, the portions are generous and the atmosphere is great at Manzil Spice. My favourite dish was the massala fish which came sizzling on a bed of onions on a hot skillet - and the chicken bhuna was lovely too. I couldn't eat it all as I had too many poppadoms! We went for an early dinner on a Saturday and there were already plenty of other tables filled, so I'd say it's a good idea to book.

Excellent food, lovely surroundings, will definitely come again.

My first visit to Chez Lahlous and it wont be my last! So much interesting food to choose from, at our table we had everything from frogs legs, snails, steak, scallops, veal, and garlic sausage, the portion sizes were generous but the quantity did not mean a compromise and quality, very delicious well made food and the service and atmosphere was lovely. They even kindly wrapped up on what we didn't eat. The garlic bread and chicken wings were a fab surprise to accompany the dinner too. We will definitely be back.

Food was pretty good, but very overpriced and portion was tiny compared to the likes other places I’ve tried in Sheffield. Staff were lovely though too.

This is a lovely cafe with an extensive menu and lots of delicious looking cakes. I didn’t have long for breakfast so just ordered a ghost cake that was peanut flavoured with puffed rice and chocolate and was yummy. My friends had more time so ordered proper meals which they said were delicious. We sat outside in a tree surrounded outdoor seating area on a lovely sunny autumn morning. The service was very pleasant.

The super friendly bartender couldn't do enough for us. She went out of her way to assist us to the disabled parking space and helped us be seated. Great asset to the pub. Such a warm atmosphere. Everyone was so polite and friendly. Quickly served too. Fabulous, 5 stars all round!

La mejor casa de kebab que he estado también. Siguiente nivel 5 estrella. El pollo Shawarma era hermoso al igual que el Donner. Nada de estas tonterías normales. También se entrega en menos de 30 minutos. gracias

Fantastic fish and chip shop I dropped a pie and chips tired after football training infront of everyone all over my lap in their shop they cleaned it and gave me a new one for fresh was so kind amazing service and delicious food will definitely be coming back

This place is a must for lovers of very reasonably priced top quality vegetarian food (some meat and fish dishes are also available). A big bowl of tasty leek and potato soup and a toasty for seven quid, whats not to like? Slightly reluctant to post this review as I dont want to be queuing next time I visit this little gem. The staff are also very helpful and friendly and its a great place for kids (servers and cooks) with learning difficulties to gain responsibility and learn some skills.
