Great Takeaway tucked off Crookes main drag. Delicious food, not too greasy or coloured red at a reasonable price. "Best prawn crackers ever" says my other half

This is the best Chinese in Sheffield.

The food was delicious, the price was reasonable and the staff were polite and sociable. What more can you ask for?

Reliably good Chinese food which is the main thing. Not sure why they bother with the fish and chips side trade as the offerings are tired to put it kindly.

Very good and tasty food, not creasy at all. I have been ordering food for the last 3 years, always good quality and big portions.

The place looks a bit tired but I have been using them for years and never been disappointed. The Char Siu Fu Yung and Singapore fried rice are both excellent and show no sign of corner cutting with ingredients unlike at other places I have tried.

Great quality, great taste, great service. What more could you ask? Special curry is a particular favourite.

Just had our evening treat,cos not been in for ages due to being away! BUT the best old school Chinese i have had for a very long time, it's well worth a visit YOU will not be sorry trust me.

Food was extremely salty! And a little over priced. One of my worse Chinese food experiences. I wont be eating it for at least 6 months. Smh. They wouldnt eat that much salt so why serve your customers it. Again smh, food made me feel ill. I really should i have taken it back and thrown it in their face.

There are not that many vegetarian choices, the ones that are there, are not as delicious. But it's a Chinese take away at the end of the day. The lady at the reception is super nice!

Having tried many Chinese restaurants in Sheffield this is by far the best! The special chow mein is fantastic! Lots of great quality meat and huge prawns, massive portion for a fiver, we have been back four times in the past month. Highly recommended, only downside is they don't deliver but so worth the effort.

Absolute fantastic food and service recently moved in the area and thought let's try it can't fault it what's so ever not right keen on the sweet and sour sauce but that's minor I'm pregnant and have really fussy taste buds ......... 1000000 percent my new treat night Chinese the chips are amazing well recommend this Chinese

I get one of these every week. So so tasty, and you get loads for your money, usually enough for 2 portions. I live the Cantonese sweet and sour chicken, crispy chilli beef and chicken satay.

Title says it all really. A small Chinese takeaway with all the usual dishes if somewhat spicier than normal. Dont be put off by the appearance of the shop but the foods good.

It's very rare that I find a takeaway so repugnant I couldn't make it at least edible with some sauces but Tuesdays endeavour was awful. Chips that looked like they had been cooked and reheated enough times to give them the appearance and texture of an Ikea walnut shelf. Egg fried rice that had never seen an egg and a spring roll that was more like a winter roll, cold in the middle with ingredients that passed their best by date last January.

Been visiting for years. Always consistently good food. Will adapt to suit your requests. Friendly service no matter how busy. Accepts telephone orders but unfortunately no delivery available. Well worth the trip out though.

The food here is good, hot and well-cooked, I do not the proprietors name but she's always very chatty and on the ball. The special curry...WOW!! it's HOT so beware not mild and lack lustre like some place oh and try the salt and pepper chicken wings.

I've been visiting this takeaway with my roommates for years, since we started our courses in 2011. It's still my most visited takeaway in Sheffield.Considering I moved away from crooks since two years ago, that says how delicious the food there is. I miss how convenient it was for me to just call and wait for 15 mins, then dinner was ready to collect. I would recommend people who havn't tried Chinese food much to try few different dishes each time, the you might find your true love is actually Chinese.

I absolutely love Hing Wah - the food is fast, fresh and delicious. I don't know what the previous guy was on when he bad-reviewed it(!?) The lady that runs it is so lovely and you won't find bigger, more generous portions anywhere. Really great stuff. Can't recommend enough. (my favourites are the sesame prawn toast, (obviously!) and and the duck in black bean and green pepper sauce. Oh and all the king pran dishes are great, as they can often be a bit dodge in other places.)

Been going to this take away for about 10 years i have NEVER had a bad meal fantastic value for money if you like your chinese curries and egg fried rice....then this as got to be one of the best i have been to and i have been to a lot of chinese take aways over the years this one blows them all away i have a variety of meals and the ribs and salt and pepper chicken wings are divine

Beats all other chinese takeaways hands down. Been going there for 15 years and it is still as good if not better than all those years ago.
