Salt and pepper mix box was the saltiest thing I have ever eaten, covered in so much salt it was inedible and had no other flavour. Rip off also.

Missed food off of the order. Food that did arrive was very poor quality. Called up about the issue and was told I could have the refund for the missing item if I went to collect or I could get it next time free of charge, there will not be a next time. Rest of the food ended up in the bin. Poor food and poor service I would not recommend. I don’t usually write reviews but I am very disappointed in the overall experience. Sorry for the negative.

Had a great Chinese again as always.never ever had a bad takeaway from here in 30 years.i would never go anywhere else because it is cooked fresh,and can stand and watch what goes in it,not like other takeaways that just comes out of a hatch(out of a little door)if you don't understand.🥰🥰🥰

Very disappointed. I usually travel to the other side of town to get a Chinese take away but I was told to give Wok this Way a go, which is close to where I live, so I did. I got salt and pepper bean curd (which is always my go to) and mushroom rice. The salt and pepper bean curd was awful, far too salty and the mushroom rice was very bland and the mushrooms didn't seem cooked. I will carry on going to the other side of town from now on

I ordered salt and pepper ribs and torfu both of which was virtually inedible cheap homebargins salt and pepper £20 for that and mushroom rice. I have been going here occasionally for many years but can with out a shadow of a doubt say that is the worst Chinese I have ever had. Wild rice do a banquet for the same money and have never had a bad one. Sorry guys but that was disgusting.

Had the beef in black bean sauce and only one word to describe it, it was AMAZING... Wish I lived closer so that I could eat here every day. Good size portions chock full of flavour. Best Chinese I've ever tasted. The staff were helpful and friendly.

Chips are nice but the chicken curry i orderd tasted like it was cooked in bisto gravy wasnt nice ended up throwing away

Really good chinese , special fried rice was on point, lovely curry sauce (not your typical curry sauce it's very intense) good size portion of chips, chow mein amazing qmd the salt and chilli chicken was the best.

Made quite a long journey to this place on the back of good reviews but it was average at best. Dishes are either overpoweringly strong or lacking without much flavour at all. Stay local, not worth going out of your way for.

Salt n pepper tofu - Crunchy dried up nonsense that tasted like chip spice. Couldn't eat it. If you like tofu, don't buy this.

Chicken fried rice sweet sour sauce really nice and salt pepper chips but the seaweed total disappointment would not feed it my dog waste of £4.20

i googled best take aways near me last night n this lil place popped up. I drove up today n OMG....delicious!! The curry sauce isn't a typical curry sauce, it's not hot or spicy but the depth of flavour is totally next level. I will definitely be returning quite soon.....even if it's just a snack lunch of prawn toast n a pot of that delicious curry sauce it'll be well worth the drive!!

Tried alot of different Chinese takeaway and by far Wok This Way is the best in my opinion and my favourite. Cooked freshly Infront of you so you know they are using fresh ingredients and can see how clean they keep thier kitchen.

Overpriced, bland and horrendous service. The woman behind the counter is the by far the rudest person I have ever come across. During COVID they had a sign in the window saying 'NO MASK - DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT COMING IN!' Written by her I presume. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere!

(Howard Road) I normally buy my food from here and most of the time its ok, but last night I spent £32 on a takeaway and found hair in my food and then 5 minutes later my daughter found another hair in the batter of her prawn that she had to pull out if her mouth. I felt disgusted and had to throw the food away. I have never had this happen before from takeaway food and two separate hairs at once. What's happening hear. I will not be eating here again

Bounced from Chinese to Chinese. Beginning to wonder “Will my Chinese urge ever be fulfilled” I found here. Fulfilled.

We often have takeaway from here as it’s far superior to any other Chinese takeaways. It’s well worth the round trip from Stocksbridge. The ingredients are high quality, particularly the meat and the sauces. Never had a bad meal. My husband’s fav dish of theirs is beef in a black bean and pepper sauce. I love their veg chop suey and they add my extra ingredient request of cashew nuts. Their chips are also really good. Can’t recommend the place highly enough.

So far worst Chinese I had , Visiting different places and always going to try Chinese in area and always getting same noodles and Kung po chicken which is my favourite dish, I'm not a Chinese man but from my expirance with kin po chicken it should be atleast spice and with some coating What I got is chicken breast in very untasty souce without any flavour . And lady who took the order was not polite and rude

Attitude problem ordered set me for 3 3 cartons rice1carton with small amount pork about 6 prawns some sort of sauce

Despite no longer residing in Walkley and now living on the other side of the city, we still make the trip to visit this takeaway. Great food, top hygiene rating and lovely staff who go the extra mile to please. I especially recommended the Singapore Vermicelli noodles!

Friendly front of staff, chef threw my food into a container with disdain, got it home, half full and greasy. Expensive and not nice, shame as I'd heard good things.

Absolutely fantastic with an open kitchen so you can see the fantastic food being prepared. If they say if will be ready in 20 minutes it absolutely is, which is great so reliable.

We'd heard incredible things about this takeaway and we certainly weren't disappointed. The food was cooked as we waited (which took around 5 minutes!) It was fresh, hot and delicious. Beautiful options for vegan me and Omni husband. We would strongly recommend.

Used to be spot on of years gone by but quality seems to have taken a turn for the worse Response to below: back when you had the plastic trays there was enough sauce with the dishes to mix with your rice now it feels like its going off a different recipe and is a bit stodgy

Very nice, ribs a bit chewy but it was made very quickly and the people working were very friendly.

This takeaway is one of the top 5 in Sheffield, there chips are top notch. Watching them cook is a good experience. They don't deliver, which is a shame.

I have ordered 3 or 4 / 5 take away meals from this take away chinese; the first was great= beef in black bean sauce and chilli chicken= excellent, couldn't be bettered, 2' nd time the beef was worse that shoe leather and totally inedible. Decently complaining to the Owner, she accepted that they had changed beef suppliers and accepted the complaint. Next beef in black been sauce; again excellent. NOW. ordering again last weekend we are back to the inedible shoe leather beef. This consistency needs to be addressed to ensure reliably good food. Thanks.

They cook the food fresh in front of you. Fast service. Great tasty food. We love chicken fried rice, very spicy and Tom yum spicy Thai soup and Singapore fried noodle, curry sauce and the best salt and pepper chips anywhere. We love it here. Been on holiday a few weeks and have missed it.

Have been eating food from Work This Way for a while now and it is one of my favourites. The service is quick and the lady who runs it all is very organised. Delicious food. Will continue to come here. :-)

So I was told by my son that this Chinese Takeaway was the best in sheffield, so here goes the kitchen is spotless from what I could see , the staff are great and friendly also very clean in presentation which is always a bonus. The food was excellent very tasty Singapore special rice 100%. Salt n pepper chips 100%. House special curry 80% as it tasted like spiced bisto gravy . That was my opinion of the curry but I'm sure other people will have a different opinion. I definitely would eat here again .

Simply the best and the food is cooked fresh and without the normal chinese additives. Its always a really nice meal and worth the 7 mile round trip for me .

Went here as it had been recommended by friends and we weren’t disappointed. Authentic style open kitchen where you see the meal being prepared, very good value for money, good quality tasty food and only a 10 minutes wait - will definitely order from here again!
