Really unethical business - took money without fulfilling service. Ordered via Uber eats for a community event but had to cancel immediately due to a double order - rang them 1 minute after placing the order and they assured me I could cancel. They then told Uber Eats they had started my order and so charged me for the full order, and didn’t mention that this was their plan when we spoke on the phone. Really disappointed.

Been eating here for fifteen years and every year, the food and customer service is impeccable! The food is flavoursome and the options are endless. My family eats here, my friends eat here and visitors from other cities eat here. Phenomenal.

Salt and pepper box was amazing

Been coming here for years, love the salt and pepper box 😁 if you're collecting they'll usually have your order ready within 15mins. I'll be back when I'm up next for sure.

Tastiest Chinese in Sheffield! Always surprised by how quickly they have my food ready to collect and they're always so polite when I go in. Amazing food too; the szechuan is so good and their noodles hit the spot every time. And lovely salt and pepper chips!

Have ordered from here regularly for years, always brilliant friendly service, I don't know what's changed recently but in the last 5 orders, the spring rolls have been beyond disappointing. Soggy and honestly ruined the meal. I'm afraid I won't be risking it again.

It’s a takeaway so I can’t really comment on the atmosphere. However, I never need to repeat details and on occasion when I have been ill they always offer good wishes and sometimes advice. Ordering by phone is simply and straightforward. Delivery is very fast and the drivers are always polite. Oh, and the food is tasty too and arrives very hot.

Everything had a fishy taste so they use the same oil, soggiest crispy chili beef i've ever had, blandest and wateriest satay i've ever had, avoid.

My favourite Chinese Takeaway, I have been eating here since I was knee high and they even remember my order, despite me living in a different part of Sheffield when I order. New Jumbo always cook my meals from fresh and are really polite on the phone and in person. Highly recommend them to anyone in S2 - the salt and pepper chicken is consistently lovely!

They used to be very good: cheap and tasty, honest portions. Now skimpy, chicken doesn't taste like chicken anymore. Smaller portions for more money.

I have been coming to this chinese from been a teenager. Im now 28. I love the food. And the staff are so genuinely nice. So glad they are still around and hope they will be for years to come

I used to live across the road on City Rd from NEW JUMBO Chinese Takeaway back in 2004. Fast forward 18 years, I came back to have another Meal For One, one last time! (or may be a Dinner Box)... At least I was going to grab a few Pork Balls for the road! Number #1 buffet is dead and buried. Jumbo (the one in town) has been renamed. NEW JUMBO still stands tall and proud! When times got you down, you felt the world was against you or you even needed to line your stomach before a big night out, then New Jumbo always had you covered! They even let you swap the soup on the meal for one. Those were the best of times! Today, I rekindled some of those cherished memories!

This was the worst Chinese meal I have ever been served....the shredded beef was slimey, foul smelling, tasteless and totally inedible! The salt and pepper options had no salt or peppers and the curry sauce couldn't be called a sauce as the consistency was like water! So disappointing as we tried this place based on a recommendation.

The food is delicious and has a good price but please can you do away with the plastic containers and Go back to foil containers which are that bit more environmentally friendly or maybe look at something biodegradable 😎

Usually I was quite happy with this takeaway, however last Friday food was terrible, dry chewy meat in 3 roast, special chef rice seems like it was done a few days ago and served by adding soy sauce, salt and pepper squids definitely done previous day as they was dry and semi warm. . My order was ready in 5 min, which only proved my suggestion.

I ordered the All For One, it was definitely worth what I paid for. Egg fried rice, beef and mushrooms go really well together. Plus there's a couple of extras to go with it.

Usually quite decent food from here but tonight must have been an off night ordered sweet and sour Cantonese style chicken which was disgusting .hot and sour soup which was spot on as always but the chicken curry was like dish water it was that watery and full of onions 3 chicken pieces and a mushroom cut in half ? Tonight's sat takeaway which cost £20 went in the bin only decent thing was the free prawn crackers

The pizza box deal is amazing. Love it. Otherwise it's a pretty good standard Chinese place. No real complaints, just nothing special either.

Tried to order on just eat and just declined it, no reason given! Have ordered from them a few times, wont be using them again! Their food isnt great I was just hungry and only Chinese open. Very rude

Unless you haven't eaten for a few years then I'd avoid at all costs. It used to be good but if curry & rice can make you Ill I'd hate to know what meat & seafood would do.

The food is great, but the delivery driver each time pulls up in the middle of the road right down the street from my address, I wave and he seems to pull back a little then just sits in his car in the middle of the road at the bottom of the street waiting for me to go out bare foot in my PJs with a face mask on for the whole world to see.

Food literally came within 20 minutes. Was piping hot and the delivery driver was lovely. Food was amazing and fresh. Found me new favourite takeaway. Northerner recommended.

after ordering for 6 months the exact same meal the woman argues with me over a restaurant note saying I’ve asked for onions and veg in my chow MEIN when I’m allergic absolutely disgraceful and it isn’t the first time. will never order again

Fantastic food as always. They always have me as a regular customer while their food is this good. Prawns are always cleaned and fresh. Hoisin beef was great although portion was a little small.

The food was awful! salt and pepper chicken wasn’t even chicken, just crispy batter! the sweet and sour chicken was tasteless and you had to pour the sauce on yourself. It tasted like a stodgy chicken nugget. Overall, not worth the £24 i paid- not coming back.

Delivered about 30 minutes early to their credit but the food was bad, I had chicken breast with chips and the chicken was in gravy but was still a little dry and the chips tasted like they were cooked 2 or 3 times over. My dad had normal spare ribs with chips and the chips again tasted like they were cooked 2 or 3 times over, and the spare ribs was quite dry.

Food was ready 5 minutes after we requested but we were late picking it up, and the guy at the restaurant was so friendly and they had kept the food warm for us. Service was great but food was disappointing. The spring rolls in the starter box were lovely but that was the only good thing that we ordered. The salt and pepper chips were pretty bland, the vermicelli was very dry, and the shredded beef in chilli sauce was inedible- the sauce was literally just tasteless goo:( the ‘bbq sauce’ we ordered was also like water. Won’t be ordering from here again.

Food very good. I have to say though, please ask your drivers to never just enter the house. we was upstairs so apologies as we couldn’t hear him so he was waiting but please ring our mobile instead of just walking into the house. Regardless, good food delivery wasn’t too long.

Simply stunning food...probably up with the best in the UK. I travel all over the country every week and love my Chinese food....especially this one when I visit Sheffield.A++++++++

Ordered crispy chilli beef. Received salt and pepper crispy beef. Phoned them up and spoke to the manager and was told that they had sent my order out correctly and that I was in the wrong. Absolutely appalling customer service and it totally left me feeling disappointed. A waste of money and will never use them again

Unfortunately, and not for the first time, the beef chow mein was burnt beyond being edible. I’m not sure how the staff at the the takeaway missed it, again. There were black burnt bits all over the container and it absolutely stunk. I had a single bite of it and nearly threw up. It was that badly burnt. The rest of the food was fine but the beef chow mein being burnt again really ruined the meal for one of us. Disappointing, to say the least. .

Fast delivery time but poor quality food ordered beef and mushrooms as I have done on numerous occasions however instead of it being gravy it was a cross between jelly and slime Looked more like pedigree chum than human food

three roastie Cantonese style was really medico, the pork was soft and fatty. the beef was quite tough and the sauce in the bottom was really watery. the house specail fried rice was ok but lacking any real substance. also i think they went ott with the salt as i have been gagging for a drink most of the night. pretty standard food. also they fogot my prawn cracks, so the curry sauce was a waste of 1.40. the driver was polite and it was on time.

The food was great as usual. Although this is the first time the hoisin beef had some weird vegetable in it.. don't even know what it was? Was it tofu even? Not keen on this addition but the rest of the food was great.
