The food at Aesthete cannot be faulted. It is the best brunch I have had in Sheffield, and I would even go so far as to say it is probably the best brunch you can get in Sheffield. That said, you might be surprised to see I have only given it three stars. Unfortunately, I feel the customer experience is not as good as it could be, mainly because of how busy it gets. Of course, this is not the fault of the restaurant, as they understandably want to make as much money as possible, but it feels like that comes at the expense of the overall experience. I have visited both Aesthete locations several times and have consistently had a similar experience. Everything feels rushed and a little panicked due to how busy it is. Waiting a long time for coffee, and then over an hour for food, is not enjoyable. If you visit during peak brunch hours, this seems to be the norm. Almost every time I have been, I have finished my coffee well before the food arrived because of the long wait. What would I suggest? Fewer tables and a slightly higher price point. I would be more than happy to pay more for a better experience. Right now, even though the food is exceptional, it is not enjoyable enough to make the wait worthwhile. To make matters worse, on my last visit, my party was seated at an especially uncomfortable table. We did not realize quite how uncomfortable it would be until we had already agreed to sit there. With no other tables available, we tried to make do. For context, it is a round table with diagonal poles at knee height, making it difficult to get your legs underneath. There also was not enough space for food and drinks without playing a constant game of Tetris. This table really should not be in use at all. When another table eventually became free, I politely asked if we could move, making sure nobody else was waiting. Unfortunately, I was told no, as it would make things harder for the kitchen. I understood the reasoning, but it was still disappointing, given how uncomfortable we were. As I write this review, my back is still sore from sitting there. In addition to the uncomfortable seating, I was given a dirty glass for my water. My partner had also requested no hollandaise sauce on their meal, but this request was missed by the kitchen. Because of how long we had already waited, we did not ask for the dish to be remade. I do not blame the staff at all for any of these oversights, they are simply too busy. I would recommend Aesthete if you can go during a quieter time, if such a time exists. But unless something changes with how busy it is, I personally will not be returning.

Food is normally on point but last time I ordered it never even showed up,waited 2 hours for them to tell me it had been delivered when it hadn't

Lovely restaurant and great staff food is amazing. Sea food risotto could have had more seafood in it. Definitely recommend.

Reservé esto como un regalo familiar ya que mis nietos estaban de visita desde Australia. La comida como siempre era deliciosa y a los nietos les encantó ver correr a los perros. Solo una queja y es que desearía que el titular adulto incluyera el Yorkshire Pud ya que se veía extremadamente bien.

Absolutely fantastic meal, everything we had was so tasty, even told the chef he doesn't charge enough and he said he didn't want to rip people off, that he wanted everyone to have a nice time, if only everyone thought this way, definitely go and try you won't be disappointed 😊

Very generous amount of lamb pot, after having this, I skipped dinner coz it was very filling🤤🤤 definitely worth a second visit there. A reasonable price range too

Me and my partner tried for first time as our normal Greek restaurant is closed today Ordered 2 mixed gyros tasted very nice and fresh would definitely recommended

He estado aquí un par de veces para tomar un café y lo probé para almorzar con mi papá, los dos comimos paninis que vienen con papas fritas y ensalada. Todo estaba fresco y sabroso, a un precio muy razonable y hacen una oferta de café / pastel. El pastel de naranja de chocolate estaba delicioso. El mejor lugar local para comer.

Es genial ver una organización benéfica ejecutando algo como esto. Estuvimos muy contentos de conseguir una mesa en una de las cenas habituales. Nuestro camarero fue atento, el ambiente relajado y el precio era bueno para la calidad. No diría que la comida me dejó alucinado, pero fue una buena comida abundante con algunos toques agradables. Si aún no lo has hecho, te recomiendo que lo pruebes, es una experiencia que no he tenido en ningún otro lugar de Sheffield.

Me encanta este café amigable para niños. La comida es genial El servicio es excelente El personal es amable y eficiente. Me encanta cómo el té se sirve correctamente en una olla y tazas tradicionales. Aunque no tengo nietos locales que traer, definitivamente los traería aquí. A ellos les encantaría. El hecho de que los niños estén cerca nunca me arruina el placer. Es un excelente lugar para visitar
