These lads don’t mess about. The kebabs are always incredibly well filled. The naan’s are homemade and fluffy. The chicken tikka is delicious. The donner meat isn’t greasy and has good flavour. The chips are banging too. They know what they’re doing, and they do it very well! That kitchen is a well oiled machine, churning out the best kebabs in Sheffield.

I had a chicken shish kebab on Friday night, unfortunately the chicken tasted like fire , it had a horrible burnt taste to it. I will go again but probably have Donner meat next time.

I rang to ask for a wrap that wasn’t on the menu not only did they sort me out but they did it with style! So polite , food was amazing just an absolute pleasure to do businesses with. Legends

The guy who takes the order was fine recently started ordering from here again after a while the delivery driver was very rude the donner meat was very salty and the chips were scrappy not the usual standard very Dissatisfied

Hi, stumbled across this place and so glad I did! The food is very tasty and quite authentic for a fast food place. The chips are amazing! If you want great chips, don't go to a chippy - just go to Charley's! The portions are generous. They really listen to what you want eg not spicy or sauce in a tub rather than on top of the food. It's the attention to detail that matters. They don't make you feel like you are just another customer. They really listen. Gave me a piece of chicken to see if I liked it before buying. 1st visit - mixed donner kebab and chips 2nd visit - chicken tikka kebab, a cheeseburger and chips Will definitely go back for 3rd visit Highly recommend 👍🏻

Used to be the best kebab used these for last 4 years but recently they have changed the quality of there meat and now the chicken is thin shredded meat rather than chunks of chicken and it is absolutely awful they increase price and reduce quality I would rather pay more for the same good food unfortunately will not be ordering again ..shame

The food is always 10/10 the portions are generous and the mix of salad and sauce bangs on the donner kebabs! Oh yeah and they use chippy chips you can’t make it up. 100% recommend CHARLEYS, been using them for many many years!

One of the best Kebab I've had in years. The owner was a diamond, he explained about the menu gave me a taste of the Kebab meat to prove how good it was, homemade sauces proper chips to. There are very few decent food shops like this around. A must to try, you won't be disappointed 10 out of 10.

I had it delivered. It was fresh, juicy, beautifully spiced chicken kebab I absolutely loved. The portion was honest aswell! The driver was very friendly and polite. (Please guys, don't change anything! We need a decent kebab place in Sheffield!)

Chicken is decent but not really of value to get 3 strips for £7.50 with chips, the doner is really tasty but also very oily, even the sauce tubs have oil inside the food. If you don’t care about your health it’s a place to eat at otherwise the food is nothing special at its price point compared to actual restaurant food

Wouldn't bother. Ordered chicken tikka kebab with lots of salad. Expecting tandoor or charcoal style. The flavours are nice but the naan was soaked in oil or watery tikka sauce. Literal puddles. Salad was just white cabbage and they didn't put mint or chilli on like I requested. Very disappointed

This was my first time trying it. It is amazing! My favourite is the mixed kebab, definitely better than other takeaways I've tried. Hands down best in Sheffield.

This place used to be one of the nicest homemade donner spots in sheffield but im sorry to say that donner was not homemade and left a fur texture in my mouth! You guys need to step it up again or quit. I think next door have disheartened you. Customer service is always spot on and always a fantastic environment I must say

21st Dec- What can I say!!! Best Doner & Chips in Sheffield, England, Europe, The World, Galaxy, Universe…. I could keep going on!!! Proper nice guys too!!! Absolutely amazing place. I’ve coming here for a while now and each time they never fail to impress. Their kebab meat is to die for and one of the only places in Sheffield that make their own Doner meat. Their fries are also made in house and are absolutely amazing. I’ve found myself passing by and literally stopping in just to get a box of fries to nibble on while I’m driving, they’re that good! I usually get their mixed Doner and Tikka kebab on a Nan with all the sauces (their house chilli sauce is beaut!) I decided to try something different yesterday and went for a Double Inferno burger with Doner (double burger, with Doner on top, double cheese, fried onions, house chilli and jalapeños). What did I think to it? OMG !!!! Amazing! This is now my new joint favourite menu item. To top it off, the lads who run this place are super friendly, and despite being mega busy and all running around the kitchen preparing orders from the constantly ringing till and online ordering platforms, they always find the time to have a chat with you. 5 stars guys. Keep up the great work!

Absolutely delicious chicken shish kebab and peri peri wings this is the best takeaway we have had in a long time it's a must try place to go.

Second order from here and really is a good spot, delicious food and would order again without question. Love a kebab with a nan bread and these guys have nailed it. All good quality and fresh, and proper chunky chips instead of the generic takeaway ones that are usually tasteless. Highly recommended.

This kebab shop is now struck off our list due to terrible delivery times (1hr 40mins+) and bad attitude towards customers (putting the phone down when called about a late delivery). * I feel the need to add further details as the proprietor has just disregarded by earlier comments and made excuses. LATE DELIVERY (LOCATION EXCUSE) Upon calling Charley's 1hr 10 mins after the order was placed, I was told the order was being prepared "now". This obviously has nothing to do with location. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE (BAD LINE EXCUSE) The call being disconnected was not a bad line. When I was making it clear I was not happy with their continued failure to deliver within the time frames promised (initial time plus further time), the person at Charly's hung up. It did not go dead like a disconnected line, there was the sound of the handset being put down.

Just arrived back to my home in London after being stuck for a few weeks in Sheffield due to the weather etc. I decided to try this place out due to the very good reviews. Restaurant quality food delivered to the hotel. Friendly driver and polite over the telephone. Will definitely use again when I'm back in Sheffield. 11/10

Amazing food for a cheap price friendly cooks a overall spectacular experience

TL;Dr: food quality has levelled-up noticeably since I ate here a year or so ago. Highly recommended. I've eaten from here a few times in the past years but didn't feel moved enough to write a review, but I had an awesome doner kebab take out yesterday: * Naan bread was soft and fresh * massive improvement in salad, both in quality and portion * loved the shredded red cabbage * very tasty chilli sauce, not sure which type of chili was in it but it had great zing without melting your face off * generous portion of doner meat as always * delivery arrived on schedule Great work guys, I think you just gained a new regular :)

I've been using Charleys now for the past 3 months and every time the food (kebab) has been spot on!!! The amount of food you get for your money is very generous - It's no cheap meat kebab place. Love how they use fresh green chillies when I ask for my naan to be spicy, not to mention the chilli sauce! Keep up the very good work guys

If you want a loaded kebab this is the place. Guys in this place are top, genuine blokes. Asked if I could make a slight change with my order. No issues. Got 12 wings and a mixed kebab. Definitely one of the best ones I’ve had in Sheffield. Will be my regular kebab place from now on.
