Excellent chippy and well worth the drive from here. Amazing (and huge!) fish and massive portions of very tasty chips. And excellent value.

These were fantastic people, great chippy but more than that they really worked to help our order. It was a large group and they didn't want to over charge or give us too much. Even gave us a bottle of vinegar in case we hadn't enough.

Never go wrong here, always fresh and even with queues, quick to be served.

I’ve been there twice , I’ve ordered small fish&chips and half chicken, it’s was amazing, probably one of the best meals I ever had, nice food friendly stuff, recommend..

Huge portions of quality product, I think I can ‘trough a bit’ but this place beats me for one of each. Often get three fish and one chips for my brother, his wife and myself. Also, Elvis doesn’t work hear but another deceased talented musician might.

Quality is still fantastic but the prices have gone up massively. Just paid £35 for 3 x fish, 2 x Chips, 1 x peas and 1 x curry sauce. Its now at pub meal prices, but its not served to you on plates for a sit down meal. I will probably still go but only VERY occasionally.

So far I have been here four times and they are constant in good quality fish and chips. Me and my wife share a large fish and chips and there are always chips left over. Best take away fish and chips so far I have found in Sheffield.

This is the best takeaway I have been trying so far. We had mixed kebab. All ingredients were so fresh and tasty. It was such a pleasure to indulge ourselves with this array of flavours. And the service was very good, actually, outstanding if to be more precise. Thank you so much! From now onwards we know where we will return again.

Just finished work, couldn't be bothered to cook so i visited the chip shop on my way home. The shop was empty. it seemed like they were running the stock down,has there was only a few items in the display cabinet. I asked for cod which is normally cooked to order when quiet. They had 1 piece of fish in the cabinet which clearly wasn't cod,both staff laughed and started to talk in their language. I know they need to control stock and waste as a business, but don't try and take the pi- - out of me. Another lost sale!!

Every time I go to this so called chip shop they get my order wrong. Five times this has happened and the food is mediocre and luke warm People say it’s the best chip shop around but it is the only chip shop around I would suggest going further afield and get better service and better food.

Great fish and chips for £7. I share them with my son so just £3.50 each. The fish is huge and they pkle on the chips, there is easily enough to feed the two of us and we have healthy appetites

Well firstly, kevinbecken (previous reviewer), I don't think the residents of Dore and Totley would appreciate your comments that the shop is "In a rundown area"!! The Fish Bar is excellent and the portions of haddock are enormous, as are the chips. My OH and I couldn't possibly have a portion each and share it and even sharing, there are always lots of chips left. Recommended!

Really great fish and chips. Often a wait, but at least that means they are fresh. Also I like chatting to people who have sometimes driven quite far for them.

Stopped here for the first time while passing through on business, and feeling hungry. Cod cooked while you wait. Very large piece, full of flesh, with very thin and crispy batter, just about perfect for me. A mountain of chips, of which I could only manage half, and only those because they tasted so good. Served by a couple of friendly folk too. The shop looks to be in a run down area, but I don't really know the area well, however the shop is bright and clean and serves some outstanding fish! Highly recommended.

This is my local chippy. Very good. Friendly staff, good tasty food, generous portions. My tip, go for cod as they cook it to order so you know it's not been sat under the heat lamp for an hour. Would recommend.

Fish normally good, chicken kebabs the worst I have ever seen. Swimming and i mean swimming in grease and oil.
