Great night out, never been before went with friends, we had the 3 course set menu, food and service was excellent couldn't fault it at all, they give you a free drink and £5 to play on the slots, very good value.

We hadn’t been for awhile and took advantage of the offer Food was excellent as was the service The restaurant manageress Lisa who has been there quite awhile very friendly, attentive yet always remains professional. She will go the extra mile for customers. Portions are very good and it’s always nicely presented and full of flavour Had a good time on the roulette table and came out winners… this time All the staff we encountered were great and really make you want to return. That’s an advantage of having excellent staff !! Thank you

We went for early evening meal 6-30pm) on New Years Eve as pre Covid this was our habit, meet friends , have bar meal and spin on roulette etc We ordered bar meal before any other tables around us were occupied , we should have suspected something wasn’t right when three tables were eating before we were served . Table of four behind us then loudly announced all their food was cold and they didn’t want it replaced just refund. We then queried our order to be told two of the dishes took longer - these were two steak sandwiches! Finally these arrived with two steak meals. The steak sandwiches were lukewarm and one of the steak meals was stone cold, cold onion rings , missing mushrooms, lukewarm chips. We asked for this meal to be re cooked as we continued eating . The server was apologetic but the replacement steak , although hot was almost rare rather than medium. We were offered a complimentary drink after the meal but it was a poor effort and we were really hungry. There was obviously a problem in the kitchen , so why not just reduce the menu? Serving cold food on cold plates with items missing is unacceptable .

My two friends and l have had a lovely Christmas lunch, the staff and service were excellent, has was the food. The price of £26 includes a drink, a 3 course lunch and £5 voucher to play on the machines. We had no idea how to play so a lovely young man showed us. My friend was absolutely delighted when she won £11 on the roulette wheel which paid for her lunch. We hope to go back in February, l have been many times, only once l wasn't happy but hasn't stopped me from going back.

Full disclosure, had no intention of going to the casino but after the dog racing was abandoned we still wanted to make good on the night. I have been to loads of casinos and this is by far one of the most friendly I have ever been to. Not sure if it's because they get a lot of trade from the dog track who are nothing more than amateur gamblers but the table dealers were great taking the games at a nice slow pace, happy to explain the rules to customers but in an open and polite way. The pit posses all seemed a bit grumpy, but I guess they have the extra responsibility and need to concentrate. Lovely bar area to sit and have casual drinks. We had some bar snacks last night but absolutely I want to come back to try the restaurant!

What is the point in offering gift vouchers that can only be bought in house.(when I live 200 miles away). Trying to buy for a birthday. So now they lose out on family diners and gambling

This is the second time I have been to the casino the first being on our first date and it never disappoints. We always go for the 3 course meal deal which is great value for money and the food is great. Staff are friendly, Great atmosphere. Defiantly worth a visit

The whole experience was amazing. The food was delicious as always and Andre gave our night such a special touch, he’s kind and attentive. Every restaurant needs an Andre in my eyes.

My friends and I did enjoy our visit to Napoleon's and firstly the staff was excellent, but l was not happy with the lamb shank l ordered. The Moroccan lamb should fall off the bone but it was reluctant to come off, it wasn't spicy and the food was not hot, also it didn't look quite cooked. The waitress who was lovely asked what she could get to replace it, l had the chicken but by the time it came my friends had eaten theirs. Although my food was ok l kind of rushed to eat it but really didn't enjoy it. My friends enjoyed their food but said it wasn't fantastic either, we may go back but not for a while. In the past we have really enjoyed the food and hopefully we will again.

Iv been here quite alot for big family getherings and always really good but It wasn't the same this time I bragged to my partner about the food and it got me banned from picking food places for a few weeks afterwards. The food was still good but not how it normally is. I ordered steak and I can't say I was too impressed compared to the last few times. The staff were brilliant and friendly and kept checking on us so I can't fault the service at all.

My 3 friends and l really enjoyed our evening together at Napoleon's, the food was delicious but could have been hotter, the staff was excellent. The corvid rules was adeared to and we all felt safe, in fact we have booked for Christmas lunch early December.

A really bad experience! Having booked a family & friends coach party to the greyhound racing next to the casino which went very well we had arranged for us all to finish the night off in style by going to napoleons but after 19 out of us had entered the casino the doorman spotted what he thought was blood on the shirt of the last member of our party which was actually tomato sauce he refused to let him enter. Which put us all in a predicament we couldn’t leave him outside in the cold & rain until the coach returned at 2am so we all had to leave & get 5 taxis to the city centre to a bar and get the coach to pick us up from there. So if you are thinking of going to napoleons in a group think twice ! I & all my family certainly won’t be going there again.

Había 6 de nosotros celebrando un cumpleaños especial, llegamos y nos saludaron calurosamente. Tomamos una copa en el bar antes de que nos llevaran a nuestra mesa. Grandes opciones en el menú. Teníamos entrantes, platos principales y postres. El tamaño de las porciones era generoso, excelente presentación y la comida era increíble. El vino estaba bien frío también. Atención a los detalles y aunque extremadamente ocupada, Lisa y el equipo se mantuvieron atentos en todo momento. Una velada perfecta.

Este fue un gran lugar para pre-bebidas antes de ir a la carrera de perros de al lado. La señora de recepción fue muy servicial al reservar nuestro grupo de 10 pulgadas. En el interior era muy inteligente, con muchas pantallas de televisión que mostraban lo último en deportes. Había mucho espacio para sentarse y conversar. El área del casino tenía todas las mesas y máquinas de juego habituales. El restaurante y la zona del bar tenían un muy buen ambiente y nos hubiéramos quedado más tiempo si no hubiéramos reservado en los perros de al lado. Lo visitaré de nuevo.

Our party of 15 was in for a special meal. I am not familiar with many restaurants in Sheffield but the staff here were lovely and made us feel very welcome and special. Lisa and the other staff (there was also a nice waitress, small with glasses, sorry I didn’t remember her name) could not have been more accommodating. We all enjoyed our meals, but I have to say that as a chocoholic my chocolate tart was superb. The atmosphere was so nice that some of my party stayed on to watch the boxing. I enjoyed the evening a lot and would definitely consider this restaurant for a special occasion again if I was in the area.

We go several times a year to Napoleons and have never been disappointed. The food is always fabulous and delicious, and the menu varies most months. We love the fact that if you’re a member and you visit in the month of your birthday, you get a free meal. The Dine in Style menu is 3 courses plus a gambling chip and is only £25 Monday to Thursday and £27.00 over the weekend. Gambling on the tables after your meal just finishes the night off.

Our party of 10 came here for a 5oth birthday celebration. We were all very warmly welcomed by Coran and after a pre-meal drink took our seats at our table which was decorated with celebratory balloons. The food was absolutely delicious in fact the best meal I've eaten here and I've been a few times. We all had 3 courses and everyone enjoyed all the meals that were brought out. I'll not list everyone's meals but the 3 courses I had were Pulled gammon, sticky onion relish and smoked cheese crostini with a pear compote to start with, absolutely delicious, it was just the right amount but I could have eaten another 3 it was so lovely, for mains I had Thyme roasted chicken breast, creamy butternut squash, pancetta and parmesan gnocchi, the chicken was roasted beautifully and so moist and I've never had gnocchi like that before, I usually have it in a tomato sauce so this was very different and so tasty and for desserts I had Steamed syrup and orange marmalade sponge pudding with vanilla crème anglaise if I had one slight criticism the crème anglaise could have been a touch warmer but that's it. The Restaurant Manager Craig was very attentive and regularly checked on us for drinks and to make sure our meals were ok. To be fair all the staff were very attentive and super friendly. The place was very busy as there was also another birthday party of 30 in but we were never rushed or left waiting. As it was a Monday evening we were able to use our Meerkat meals and the bill for the food for all 10 of us for 3 courses each was £145 which was amazing value. We will definitely return. Thanks Napoleons for a fab evening.

We eat here several times a year as we've always enjoyed the quality of food and the experience. We won't be going back again following our meal and experience Friday evening. The dine in style menu I had mackerel starter I expected at least a fillet of mackerel no word of a lie I got a piece a fraction over an inch square. When I mentioned this to the manager she said she would have a word with the chef. She never returned to give feedback. I was driving so had a Pepsi max or that's what I asked for they must water it down that much there is no taste. The staff seemed to have any lack of enthusiasm and could barely be bothered. We then went to the tables for a bit of gamble. The croupier couldn't count properly and kept getting the payout wrong. He was sloppy handing back chips. And a couldn't be bothered type of attitude. This vein of attitude seemed to be the norm. Like I said I will not return and have even cut my card up.

I have been a fan and regular for many years but I'm afraid the current management and standards are way below what they were and in fact terrible. I was there with 8 friends and managed to get a win on the roulette table,(placed on the table with my bet before last bets was called),one of my numbers come up to which I was happy, only for the dealer to not pay the bet out and state the bet might not be correct. I then asked for an explanation to which they had a manager show me the CCTV coverage in the back room, which positively showed my money was on the table by the time the roulette spinner stated no more bets. The manager then stated this proved nothing so I asked for his manager to view it. He then got the general manager who viewed it who then lied about what he had seen (if he did view it). The gist of all this is I should have won £155 on my bet, but by Napoleon's staff effectively lying they refused to pay me out. You may think I am wrong, that is your choice, but I have lost uncountable times where I have placed a bet just before/and after the call and they have took my money everytime. I am annoyed because me, the dealer, all the other players and most importantly the CCTV showed I put the bet down in time, but I cannot have a manager lie about what is on CCTV and then refuse to show me when requested to prove it. I apparently have to write to them to get a copy as he wouldn't allow me to see it again? I will of course request this and post for everyone to see (if they provide it). In short I would advise me, you and anybody else in the world to avoid this place if you want to have any kind of bet/gamble, because they are basically liars and cheats. Go elsewhere, I will be.

Really enjoyed a 3 course meal here to celebrate my Dad's birthday - good value for money and extensive menu which changes depending on each month. Lots to choose from - food and service was great. Very quiet when we went on a wednesday evening but still enjoyed it. Very nice that we got a free drink on arrival and had fun using the £5 free gaming chip.

Visited with 2 other couples last month, first visit for 3 years or so.Can confirm it’s as good as ever,service with a smile and food was excellent again and extremely good value for money.Will definitely return sooner rather than later.

Llevé a mi familia (mamá, tía y tío) a pasar una agradable velada en el casino. La comida en el restaurante es excelente. Hay una buena variedad de platos en el menú que cambia cada dos meses. El servicio es de primera clase y extremadamente profesional. La oferta de cena en el estilo es una gran relación calidad-precio. Hay una sensación muy relajada a toda la experiencia. Todo el personal es realmente servicial y muy profesional.

Spent an evening in here before and after a visit to the adjancent dog track. Had a few drinks and watched the Grand National here (there was no sound so I'm assuming this is a management policy) before playing the tables later in the evening. The casino has a great atmosphere, all the casino staff were friendly and helpful during our time there which isn't something you see a lot of with the bigger casino chains.

Called here for a few drinks prior to going to the greyhound stadium. We had to give our details first but were made really welcome and it was a very clean comfortable bar

Hi all. I went in a taxi to napoleons casino on livesy street when I was rejected by a doorman. The doorman said I had too much drink so I wasn't allowed in. After I had finished work I had picked my friend up in a taxi from Hillsboro and continued to the casino at Owlerton. On arrival at the door I was told I had too much to drink and wasn't allowed in. I feel I was judged by climbing out of a multi seater taxi that had a high step on the exit. I will not be returning here and if napoleons casino could provide cctv footage of me leaving the taxi to the door that would be great. (To show me how I should walk and act in order to get in to this establishment.) no doubt this won't be shown as it is company's description.

Came as a group of 11 for a birthday meal. Food was incredible- never been here before but I will definitely be back for food. Each course was delicious and really good value for money. Highlights were the chicken Caesar salad starter, steak, and the warm toffee and banana cake but honestly can’t complain about any of the food! The only reason it’s a 4 star, instead of a 5 star is because the waiter was not sure on what he was serving and gave the wrong dishes a couple of times; tried to serve cod, but it was sea bass, then gave the toffee and banana cake as the chocolate tart.

Unfortunately the restaurant was fully booked, but we managed to still arrive for a great night of gambling and drinks. The door staff are always fantastic here and make you feel very welcome to keep returning.

I ve eaten previously at napoleons and always been impressed. Having recently become vegan i didn t expect to be able to eat much on the menu but was pleasantly surprised. The vegan burger was amazing. Will definitely be back

Fuimos aquí en octubre para una comida con otros 28 y siempre hemos tenido buena comida en Napoleones, pero con grupos grandes que claramente no pueden mantener la comida lo suficientemente caliente. Mi filete estaba frío, incluyendo papas fritas y champiñones, y mis amigos el pudín de toffee también estaba frío. No puedes devolverlo cuando formas parte de un grupo grande. Volveremos, pero cuatro como máximo para probar la mejor entrega de alimentos.

Fui con un grupo grande de amigos para una noche de chicas. Aunque éramos 30 el servicio fue muy eficiente. Había una gran variedad de platos y todo estaba muy bien presentado y de buena calidad.

I think Napoleons Restaurant is one of the best kept secrets in Sheffield! Three course meal, drink and a £5 gambling chip for £23.00, but the best part is that the food is superb and compares to any of the so called fine dining restaurants in Sheffield where I have eaten and often been disappointed! Lisa the Restaurant manger as always is great!!

Just popped in to sample the 3B's menu. Wonderful value and great food as usual, tailored to our requirements (fussy eaters :-) )

The decorations were old fashioned unlike other casinos in Sheffield.

This must be the at least the 4th visit to this Casino and Restaurant and I have to say all 4 visits have been superb. The restaurant has an extensive menu which caters for all tastes, the quality of the food is excellent and the service even better. The “Dine in” option is excellent value for money, considering the free drink and £5 free chip, that I would pay £23/26 (depending on which night) without these added bits. A really nice atmosphere both in the casino and restaurant and I can safely say I will revisit again and that this venue is totally worthy of the full 5 stars!

I am not sure why I haven't done a revue for Napoleons before, as I have been quite a few times for the excellent value 3 course meal with a gaming chip and a drink. However, here I am to review the new menu. We met friends recently and all decided that 3 courses was too much for all of us, so we tried the new Tapa-type menu . Two of us had 3 tapas for £10, but my "eyes bigger than belly" OH had the house (enormous) burger - it was about 6" high, with 2 burgers, 2 fried chicken pieces and other accoutrements and the other member of the party had a pizza.. The tapas were all large and excellent, although I think they need to rethink the nachos one. All of the choices on the extensive menu were excellent value - classic main meals for around £8.50. Recommended and well worth a visit, although you need to have an enormous appetite for the burger!

Firstly for clarity and fairness I should explain I am a chef with experience working in a casino on both the catering and gaming side of things so I have a more in depth knowledge of how the background works. At the same time I no longernwork in the industry, so no bias for or against.

We booked the dine in style option which includes a drink on arrival, three course meal and £5 gaming chip all for £23. For our main course we chose the fillet steak, for which we paid extra, and it was excellent, cooked to perfection! Our starter (rarebit with a twist) and dessert (cheesecake) were just as good. Our welcome in reception and service throughout the entire evening were exemplary and could not be faulted. The decor is very tasteful throughout the venue and the atmosphere calm and stress free. All in all an excellent experience and we will be visiting again.

Met with thirteen friends to celebrate an 18th Birthday. The meal was booked for 7.30 and we were shown to our table exactly on time. The soup and prawn cocktails were popular starters and were very good. Most of the party had steaks from the grill which most were rare even though some were ordered well done, I ordered medium but blood was running on my plate when cutting. The meal was only warm and not hot as we like it. The sweets were mainly brownies and syrup sponge. The syrup sponge pieces were minuscule and the custard was luke warm.

We was invited to go for a family meal and all arrived at napoleons parking ample and of to the bar to meet everyone price of beer ok free pint with the offer we chose as a birthday bash nice menu although we had to pre order but nevertheless starter arrive soup for me with bread all ok ice as well then main meal lamb for me again very nice well presented only downside it came in a dished plate which i am not a fan of as the cutlery tends to disappear into it but still very nice then the desert arrived Key lime pie confused this came on a plate but no problem there just my opinion it was again very nice more beers then of to play the tables stick to red all in all a very gone d night nice surroundings dress code a little confusing and contradicting some people way underdressed for this type of venue

Table booked for dine in style for my dads birthday. The food was delicious, the service exemplary and the gaming after was great fun. We all had a fantastic time, it didn’t cost a fortune and If it’s your birthday your meal is free!

Visited last night with my mum. What can I say? From the opening of the door to welcome us to our leaving, first class service from a first class team! They are all a credit to your business. Food? Fabulous oh and we won £20 from our free gaming chips too. Have a great Christmas guys and all the best for 2018!

I visited here with friends for a meal. We booked in advance and had a 3 course meal for £25 per head. The place was really nice with the restaurant area raised and slightly away from the casino. The food was excellent. I had a delicious prawn cocktail followed by the most amazing curried lamb (I was tempted to ask for the recipe) then some tasty desserts which the three of us shared. With drinks including a bottle of wine the bill came to under £100 for three of us, excellent value! Just before we left we all had a £5 bet on the roulette table, the bet was included with the meal so there is a chance you could end up with a free meal...we didn't but it was still a bit of fun.

60 people packed out the small restaurant for a set dinner and the catering was terrific. Minestrone soup with fresh crusty bread was a super starter and to follow delicious and generous pork loin with great crackling! Service was prompt and courteous and we finished with treacle sponge and custard. Everything was piping hot and we were really impressed as so many of these events fail to deliver when it comes to the food. I look forward to returning just for a meal.

We've eaten here for many year, my friend must have upset the chef (or she was in a bad mood) as he asked for extra seasoning on his steak, his meal came with cigarettes foil paper in it and mine tasted of cigarettes, absolutely disgusting.

Me and my partner visited here on Friday. We had won a bar meal for two from there Facebook Competition. When we arrived we signed in, my partner made himself a member as he had ID and I signed in as a visitor. This process was simple and quick. We entered the casino and it was quite dark but ambient. It was also clean. We walked over to the bar area and explained we had won and the lady kindly showed us a menu and what we were able to order from. I picked a steak sandwich on ciabatta with onion and sweet honey mustard and res cabbage colslaw that came with fries and my partner picked fish butty which came with home made thick cut chips. We picked our table and sat to wait. The drinks were reasonably priced. When the food arrived the presentation was lovely. As both the sandwiches were cut in half we swapped one half of our sandwich to taste each other. The steak was cooked lovely and tasted really good, not cheap and the colslaw was home made and tastes lovely too. The fish butty also, the fish was very nice, tasty and went lovely with home made tartar sauce which my partner said was worth having fish for just to taste that! We both finished our meals and said that for just a bar meal the taste and quality was excellent and we were both full and didn't feel like a dessert. Had we laid too the individual meals wouldn't have cost more than 8 pound each. We finished our drinks and went over to the casino tables. We watched a few players on the roulette table and decided to change just a small 20 pound into chips for a bit of fun! We both played these out and my partner came out 30 pound better off whilst I was happy to lose my 20 pound gracefully! The casino staff were professional and friendly. I would definitely come back again, maybe next time try their restaurant too as if the bar meals were this good then I can't wait to taste the restaurant food! Quick note - on entering the car park which is shared with neighbouring Owlerton dog stadium you'll be charged 1 pound to park. If you tell the attendant your going to the casino he will let you lark for free.All in all a lovely evening out, thank-you for our win, we will see you again soon!

Booked a table for seven people for my son's 21st, first time any of us have visited. We were not disappointed, from entering the building all staff were attentive and appeared happy to be there, the service was excellent and the staff were around but not hovering around the table. We paid £25 each for a three course meal, food was top class and very well presented and worth the money especially as this offer included a £5 chip for roulette.It was a great night and two of the party ended up leaving with a small gain, I will be booking again.

My family and I go on a bi-monthly basis to Napoleons. Its a really good professional warm welcoming from the bouncers and reception staff. We have had several sit down 3 course meals which have always been delicious. Recently we tried the burger, pint and chip deal which was a great offer and I would highly recommend! A fun night out with 5 roulette tables, poker, blackjack, dominoes and machines around the edge. A seated heated smoking area and great to watch the sports events!Would only thing missing from the small taste of Vegas...craps tables please :-) Well done Napoleons - always makes us happy!

Well who would have thought this place would serve such a great meal. Lovely food. Service excellent. 25quid for a 3course meal which included a drink and a free 5pound chip to go on the roulette table. All in all very good. Obviously I don't advocate gambling, however you can't grumble at the price and value. Meal beautifully presented. Would definitely go again, as food was very good.

We have always gone to the dogs next door for a meal, but in this occasion they were full, so we decided to book in the casino restaurant. What a pleasant surprise, food was fantastic. Staff very pleasant and you can't get a meal like that for the price anywhere in Sheffield. Three course meal, drink and a £5 bet in the casino for just £22 . If you are gong to celebrate a birthday then take your birth certificate , as long as the booking is one week either side if your birthday, you get your meal free.

Was very sceptical about eating at a casino especially with dietary requirements. I could not gave been more wrong. The food was delicious, presented lovely and we had an amazing night. So much so I've been back with different members of family and friends every week for the past month. Would highly recommend.

I've visited Napoleons on Eccy Road many times but they had an event on when trying to book for my date in April so I thought we'd try Owlerton and I'm glad I did. There were 31 of us booked in and everything ran extremely smoothly. The service was spot on, the staff were really attentive and the food was lovely. This was my second visit to the restaurant and it was just as good as the first. Lovely food, presented well. Great attentive staff. Nice atmosphere. Will be back soon.

Four of us visited this restaurant on a Thursday night (7.00pm).We have been to this venue before,and again we had a very good,tasty meal.There are a few options on the menu,some include a betting chip(£5.00). Very good value for money,with good staff.

Cannot praise this restaurant highly enough and the chocolate brownie was to die for! Absolutely fabulous.

Love this place! Food is beautiful and really well priced. Got the deal with meal, drink and £5 game chip for £22, three courses from a really good choice, well serviced with all staff attentive and friendly. It's our third visit and will probably do it even more, really good night. Not a betting man but enjoyed playing the tables, only bet with our £5 chip and managed to win £15, brill!!

A warm welcome on arrival this continued when we were met by the restaurant staff all very friendly, they couldnt do enough for us. The meal was fantastic lots if chouce £22, 3 courses a drink and a free £5 gaming chip and because it was my birthday i got my meal free. We are not big gamblers but had lots of fun having a flutter using our free chip. Please visit this restaurant we have visited several times and never been disappointed.

Although a casino the restaurant is separate, with nice quite surroundings,the presentation and taste were top notch at around £20 for three courses , with superb service. This was my first visit but won't be my last - SUPER VALUE FOR MONEY-, we went about 6PM on a Sunday so very quite if you like it that way

We have returned for another fantastic night at the casino . We booked this for my mums 70th birthday party once again the restaurant food a excellent . The staff are so friendly and helpful to beginners of all ages don't think casino restaurant will be not for you. Iv been twice on 2 different party's both have had people casino not for me , at the end of the night they can't believe how much fun they have had plus a fantastic meal

Well at the title says! Amazing food. Had a prawn cocktail starter. Was gorgeous and definitely not tight with the prawns. The main course was steak. Cooked beautifully with freshly cooked vegetables. I would highly recommend this for a place to eat. Lovely venue where you can sit and chat. Staff were lovely. Will definitely be going again!

Dine in style 3 course meal, gaming chip and drinks voucher. Wow the meal was fabulous real quality, tasty and well presented. We had the fishcake for starters and they are not tight with portion sizes, the three course meal was amazing.The staff were welcoming and friendly making sure that we had everything we needed.I really do not think this meal can be beaten on value for money. And yo top it off wonderful atmosphere.I would definately recommend dine in style for any occasion be it a couples night out or corporate event. The meal was worth double the price we paid and that was without the gaming chip and drink.

We booked the restaurant at the casino for my sons 21st birthday party . He's never been a gambler so it was a risk . The hole night from start to finish was fantastic . We had a sit down 3 course meal for 30 family/ friends not one bad meal. The staff was amazing . We was asked if any one would like a free lesson on how to play the games using the casino own chips. On the meal we booked at £25 per head you get a 3 course meal free drink plus a £5 gaming chip . This was a real value for money but different birthday night out to which I highly recommend it to all ages . Under 25 take ID you all need to make yourself a member of the club takes 30 seconds .

We came to casino restaurant in late evening to have a dinner before playing on tables. I ordered steak and my partner ordered a burger. The steak was the worst one I ever had. Thin and chewy, chips undercooked. Burger was below average. Everything overpriced against other casinos in Sheffield. I would never go back.

Great place to visit if you're looking for a traditional three course meal for excellent value. I visited here on a Thursday evening, so the price was 3 courses for £19. One of the people I was with had a Taste Card, which meant that the bill for food worked out less than a tenner each for 3 courses!? The menu changes monthly, but there is always a good choice, although only one vegetarian main. All dishes are very nicely presented and a large potions. The complimentary bread on the table was lovely! The service was excellent and all staff were so lovely and friendly. This was my first visit here, having been recommended by a friend who'd been on a 'Work's Do' the previous week and I will definitely be returning. Although the casino is a private members' club, you don't have to be a member. To access the restaurant, you walk through the casino, but you can just eat and hang around in the car area if gambling isn't your thing.

20 of us booked the 3 course meal deal which included £5 gaming chip and a drink from the bar for £22. This was such good value! The food was tasty and very well presented. Service was excellent and vegans and people who are gluten intolerant were very well catered for. The chef went out of his way to reassure that food would be gluten free and even spoke to the lady on the phone. After the meal we had a bit of fun on the tables and Pete made our night lots of fun. Some of the party sat in the bar to chat so suited everyone. We will definitely return. Excellent customer service from booking to leaving. Thank you.

20 of us took advantage of the 'dine in style' offer for our works 'do'. £22 for 3 course meal, drink and £5 gambling chip. The whole experience was excellent. the food was really great...good quality , freshly cooked and beautifully presented. Compliments to the chef (Lee). He also catered for 1 Vegan and 1 Gluten free meal. We were all served our meals at roughly the same time...great as there were 20 of us. All the staff we met were attentive and friendly. Great night out, will definitely go there again.

Went with two friends for the dine in style. You get a 3 course meal a drink and a £5 roulette chip for £22. Really good value and definitely recommend. Had to wait 45 mins as there were a party of 34 in, but no problem. The staff in the restaurant are 2nd to none and so helpful and polite. We had lamb kofta which was fab and feta and beetroot salad with raspberries lovely, followed by sea bass veg and home made chips in a basket, veg cannelloni, steak veg etc which were all excellent, then finally choc brownie with chocolate and cherry sauce choc wafer and ice cream, baileys creme brûlée and palenta cake. Had a wonderful meal and time. Keep up the good work guys.

We had won a competition through work, my partner works away a lot so finding the time to attend had been difficult however Emma made the experience easy to book and she was a great help!. The restaurant staff were more than helpful suggesting options for us too. We had the 3 courses, each course was beautifully presented and tasted amazing most of all it was fresh! The Ice Cream dessert was a certain favourite presented like a little sweet shop. We went in the casino after, had a good bit of banter with the dealers and overall had a really good night! Will be returning. We have attended the other branch in Sheffield but this one is more local.

Four of us visited for a meal. We arrived at 6.30pm and signed in (which is required by law. This isn't a problem.). There was a meal deal which was two courses and a gaming chip for £12.95. This was very good value. The staff were excellent.my wife and I have been to this venue a few times and each time the standard was first class,well worth a visit ( book first )

Went on a Friday evening for the fine dining experience. What absolutely fantastic value for money. Three courses, drink on arrival and a £5 gaming chip to get you started on the tables. Service was sweet with wonderful staff and the food was delicious. Fresh and well presented. Looked after from starter to dessert. Would recommend and will defiantly go again. The restaurant have various deals and offers to suit all price ranges. Great place to socialise and meet friends.

What a brilliant exciting fun night out, the restaurant food was great, we were served all night for drinks by really attentive staff, we had a table which overlooks the race course so had really good views to see our dogs race, Annie worked tirelessly seeing all the tables on our row placed the bets for races in time before the start of the race & explaining different ways in betting 'my numbers' 'trios' etc. After the last race we went next door to the casino, had a go on the touch screen roulette then on the slot machines, friends of ours decided to try his hand with cards & came away winning & also on the slots too!!! Better than luck than us!!! Nonetheless we had a good night out, and rounded off night with a night cap drink at bar before heading off home.

Been going here at least 3 times a month for over 15 years. The menu is changed monthly. The good is always cooked to perfection. The staff are incredibly friendly and knowlegable about the good. The service is brilliant. Never had a bad meal here. Highly recommend this - and you don't have to gamble - it's a top notch restaurant in its own right.

Well what can I say, booked this the day before for a romantic meal out..... best decision of the weekend. From start to finish we were looked after by Lisa and Craig, professional and polite, our every need was catered for! The food was fantastic and plenty of it too, went for the 3 course dine in style, and after the second course, we decided to go and have a flutter, leaving the dessert for later. On returning to our table, everything was where we'do left it, including a doggy bag! And the bonus was, we won on the tables too! This is going to be a regular night out for us now, 5 star service and 5 star food, loved it all.... well done to all staff, especially Lisa and Craig.... thank you!!!

We visited your restaurant on Tuesday as a last minute decision as we had heard good reviews about it from friends and we're looking for somewhere nice to eat. On arrival the reception staff were polite and friendly and directed us up to the restaurant. When we arrived at the restaurant we were greeted by A polite lady called Amy who asked if we had an existing booking, as we hadn't booked she gave as some menus in the bar area while she sorted a table out for us. She promptly came and collected us and took the order at the table, we were stuck on what to order so she gave us some suggestions on what she thought was a nice choice. During the meal the extremely friendly manageress Lisa checked on us to make sure if everything was satisfactory. The food was amazing far more than what I and my partner expected and the service was impeccable. We don't manage to get out together that often and it was just the night we needed. Relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff throughout, we will definitely be returning and bringing friends! Wish we had discovered this little gem sooner!

Booked a table here for 7.45 got there for 7.30 stud at booking desk for 15 mins (the young lady so too busy talking to her friends to come and book is in ) was told to get a drink at bar and some one would come and take our order , well 50 mins later now 8.30 we finally got our table and was told sorry had a big group in that hadn't booked (which it seems was much more important than just the 2 of us that had booked ) food ok and not bad price £22 and with that a £5 betting chip . I have to say the lady in charge was very apologetic about how long we had to wait and went out of her way to apologise . But over all not a good night .

Always a pleasure to visit this casino. Everything clean, staff pleasant, just the drinks are a little pricey.

What seemed great promotional offer the "3b's" special offer as advertised on the Napoleans casino website in bright lights. Definitely worth a double decker bus ride for a cheeky bank holiday burger, drink & a bet all for £8 we thought. We arrived after the 15:00 threshold, and were greeted by a nice receptionist who pointed us to the bar area, smiles greeted us as we walked passed the gaming tables, we couldn't wait to get started. We got to the bar which was a scene reminiscent to the marie celeste!. No bar staff to be seen, one man walked away he was just fed up of waiting, we were a little more patient though, eventually a member of staff arrived. Can we take advantage of the great 3b's special offer please I said, I'll just check with the chef the waitress said....After another awkward wait the waitress arrived back and told us that we couldn't have the special offer, the chef didn't want to cook for us, the waitress said she had this argument quite often with the chef when people arrive before just after the promotion starts. This obviously didn't help us, the intrepid culinary adventurers that we are had traveled a great distance to get here,on two buses might I add!. Plus we had arrived after 15:00hrs.Unfortunately my grievance fell on Deaf ears, the chef just will not cook before 17:00hrs we were told, so we left for Genting instead, passing a suprised receptionist who was very apologetic.Thank goodness for McDonald's across the road who will cook for you anytime of day!.

The meal was excellent good choice presented and served to a high standard. The atmosphere was relaxing and you forgot whilst dining that the casino area was just yards away.

It has a friendly atmosphere. The staff are friendly and the service is very good, the food was lovely and you get a free drink at the bar and a £5 gaming chip to play on the tables as part of the Dine in Style Package, well worth the money. We have celebrated a few birthdays there, it’s fun and you don’t have to bet all the time, you can watch people play so you can be in control of how much you spend.
