Always awesome for a Sunday night

We used the small room for a private function, it was ideal for the amount of people we had, we were given the room early which allowed us to set up and decorate, there were also 2 TV screens if we wanted to use our own plug and play gadgets, the staff were very helpful and accommodating and helped us a buffet table would defo recommend for small parties (less than 30 people). Its on 51 bus route and also not far from Hollinsend tram stop. Drink prices were very reasonable too. Would defo use again.

Lovely little local pub. (I do work here) Great atmosphere and the regular customers and staff are both lovely to be around. Pub is dog friendly and has a play ground on the back for kids to enjoy as well as plenty of outdoor seating on the back for in the summer time. Plays the sports on the TV's and when the sports aren't on usually have scores playing on sky sports news.

El domingo pasado almorzamos en la Torre del Agua. Fue genial ver a otros allí, usando el pub. Estuvimos muy bien atendidos, a pesar de que se cumplieron las restricciones de COVID - 19. El servicio fue rápido y la abundante comida deliciosa. ¡Vale la pena un viaje!

Hemos estado visitando aquí durante muchos años y hemos tenido algunas comidas terribles y hemos visto una gestión aún peor, pero hoy fue una experiencia que no podemos esperar para repetir. El pub está claramente bajo una nueva dirección desde la última vez que fuimos, con nuevo personal, un nuevo menú y un ambiente muy bien decorado y extremadamente hogareño. La comida que pedimos era una mezcla de comidas para adultos, comida para niños y guarniciones. Fue, de lejos, la mejor comida que hemos tenido allí. No tuvimos que esperar mucho para la comida, y cuando llegó, era preciosa y la relación calidad-precio era insuperable. El pub estaba limpio y el personal era amable, servicial y extremadamente educado. Recomendamos encarecidamente a cualquiera que desee una hermosa comida de tamaño decente a un precio muy bueno, en un pub acogedor y familiar.

It's better to book as they get pretty full but once your in its worth it, the staff do a great job with the table service too 👍

Qué lástima. Este pub vuelve a abrir y hay una oferta de 50% de descuento y aún así la administración no lo atiende adecuadamente. Servicio pobre. Las cocinas cerraron temprano porque se quedaron sin cosas. No muy buena planificación por parte de la dirección. ¡Me alegra que no te ocupes de mi negocio! ! Intenté reservar antes de llegar. Nadie contestó el teléfono, así que envié un correo electrónico al pub y no obtuve una respuesta para confirmar mi reserva. Muy, muy mala gestión. En el lado positivo, la comida que teníamos era deliciosa

The most hospitable and caring staff, so attentive and friendly. The atmosphere is welcoming and positive every time I've been in, you can sit alone or in a group and still talk to new people as well as familiar faces. They do always have sports on so I've found myself watching things I wouldn't normally which is a lovely change of pace. Landlords are always there and up for a chat or there to participate in the quiz absolutely fantastic.

Esta fue probablemente la cuarta cena del domingo que hemos tenido en la Torre del Agua y, con mucho, la mejor. Cada pedacito de carne magra, sabroso pudín de Yorkshire y verduras abundantes era encantador. El pub estaba muy ocupado con una fiesta de cumpleaños número 80, pero nos aconsejaron que habría una espera de comida de 45 minutos, lo que no nos importó. ¡El cantante en vivo llegó a 1800 y tuvo el tema del Día del Recuerdo que le encantó la fiesta de cumpleaños! Luego se volvió más moderno con los años 60 y 70 y fue una velada muy agradable. Crédito total al propietario y al personal por mejorar lo que comenzaron.

This pub is an absolute must go for the real ale drinker, the choice of beverages on offer for such a small local is fantastic, the atmosphere is brilliant and the landladies are such good hosts, everyone is welcome

Nice place but a little bit 'clicky'. Same faces every night. Everyone knows eachother so you'd feel a bit odd of you don't know someone who regularly goes there. Good screens from watching football, but loses a star for the lack of proper seating. Your back will kill if you have to sit on a stall for any prolonged period of time

Took my puppy with me and they were very dog friendly giving him water and treats. The service for humans was great as well! My husbsnd was happy with selection of beer and the prices. Will definately visit again.

Visited Christmas Eve, was told it was tickets only. This is understandable on a busy night, but when the landlady says if you'd have visited you would have seen the posters. Quite obviously they don't welcome new customers. Not local -not welcome!

He estado aquí dos veces ahora no volveré. Un grupo de nosotros fuimos un viernes hace varias semanas, y pedimos comida fuera del menú oldies solo para que nos dijeran que el menú solo está disponible de lunes a jueves. Luego, algunos de nosotros pedimos pescado con papas fritas y nos dijeron que solo había dos peces, luego la casera entró con una bolsa de pescado congelado de la tienda. Alguien pidió una papa chaqueta, ¡sin patatas! La segunda vez que fuimos fuimos recibidos por las palabras '¿has reservado? ', solo había nuestro grupo. Luego nos dijeron que el jamón estaba apagado y que las fichas acababan de entrar. Esto es antes de que lo hubiéramos pedido. Después de nuestra comida principal algunos pudding uno de los cuales era de chocolate, luego nos dijeron que no pudín de chocolate. Después de esto, algunos querían café solo para que les dijeran que no había leche. Y para colmo, le pedimos al propietario que nos tomara una foto, pero dejó en claro que no quería, así que lo hicimos nosotros mismos. No es acogedor, mal servicio en general.

Mi esposo y yo fuimos a cenar aquí después de viajar a Stainforth para conocer a alguien. Fue encantador, el servicio fue muy bueno y estaba satisfecho con la cantidad y el precio de calidad. Definitivamente recomendaría a cualquiera que vaya, el pescado y las patatas fritas son para morirse. Desearía que este fuera mi local

Este lugar debe ser evitada a toda costa. Encontramos que el personal de la comida horrorosa absolutamente horrible. No merece la pena. a una mascota de verdad, el asador es una broma, la carne es probablemente roadkill por el aspecto de que, la casera de un amigo necesitan urgentemente la formación de una relación con el cliente. Mientras estábamos comiendo una ah he oído una mala pareja joven tratando de conseguir su depósito debido a que el propietario canceló su partido en favor de alguien más de 40, se negaba a ellos aún amenazado su dinero de vuelta. Evitar a toda costa.

The pub does not open its doors until 12.The Landlady was very friendly . I ordered 2 senior meals which at £5 each is great and you get pudding. We had the senior fish & chip meals it was very nice, with homemade wedge chips . for pudding we had treacle sponge, and it was a full pudding not just a portion . ordered 3 kids meals, and 2 of them completely finished they meals, the youngest child was unwell,so the other 2 finished his meal off for him . then ice cream cornets came with the meal . kids meals £3.45.Although they didn't like the choc icecream because it had ice in it . the only niggle was there's nothing for children to do inside . would suggest a indoors play area.We would go again.

ABSOLUTELY VILE !!!! service planned a birthday party 2 months in advance, payed the landlady who thought it was a good idea to pocket my money and book another party on the same day while cancelling mine because it had more guests than us, she swore down the phone at me telling me it's a pub not a night club, screaming she's not giving me my money back, wouldn't trust this pub with MONEY BEWARE !!!!!!

Se muda a esta zona, así que probé el nuevo inn para el almuerzo. Gente lo lleva. Tranquilo y agradable entorno. Tuvimos un buen almuerzo, que estaba muy bien presentado. Soy vegetariana, así que teníamos dos coberturas con patatas al horno. Mi compañero tenía una hamburguesa con una porción de patatas fritas que venía en chip miniatura fray. La comida era un buen precio y cocinado a la perfección y un precio razonable. Sin duda regresaría de nuevo y llevar a los niños, ya que tenían un buen menú variado para los niños.

Me and my now husband just recently had our wedding reception here and it was absolutely perfect, the staff were warm and friendly and catered to our every need, the landlady was extremely kind and very accommodating and allowed us to decorate the pub to how we wanted it which was a beautiful touch and made for a amazing night. The buffet we had was a very reasonable price and was absolutely delicious. 10/10 will definitely go again. Highly recommended for functions and just one off visits. Thank you so much.

great pub great staff and good atmosphere

Well after a nice time at graves park we decided to stop by here for a carvery. What a waste of time. 2pm and the food looked like it was on its last legs. The meat was dry, roast potatoes did not resemble anything like potatoes, Yorkshire puddings were flat and tasteless, veg was all labelled wrong, gravy had a powder taste and the woman refilling was using her hands! Had to wait for cutlery and service and the serving utensils were that bendy I feared that the food was going to fly off! The staff never smiled and no one asked how our meal was which I think if they had I would have lost my manners. If you want a nice meal don't come here!

Friendly local pub with good beers

Just visiting family in Sheffield and wanted a quick lunch. Having passed the pub many time's we thought we would give it a try. Not living in Sheffield anymore we are not familiar with pubs in Sheffield. Very lovely fresh pannini with fresh Salad and crisps.

It was nice to see the pub busy on this occasion, the food was amazing , they were a little busy, but the chef handled it very well, Only one chap had to wait for his meal, and as the chef explained, only with 2 fryers it was difficult..... On reply the chap said " not good enough" Well pardon me, but the chef was amazing, handled the moaning man very well! It's my 2nd visit and I will be definitely returning, and spreading the grea food they cook! Also WELL DONE FOR THE NOTICE IN THE SHEFFIELD STAR, your xmas dinner sounded amazing, xxxxxxxxx

Called with our grandson this lunchtime. Should have driven off when we spotted an empty car park! Friendly enough staff but food awful!! My request for a rare steak turned out to be over cooked and grey! A dish of tinned peas were pale green and mist unappetising, my wife's rack of ribs were luke warm and did anyone ask if everything was alright..... Not a word. So, tried it but not going back!

After visiting the new inn today I must say.... The food is value for money, Although they are awaiting there new menus, we was handed a menu that was basic print, But I have to say the meal was amazing, I had a rack of ribs, my wife the hunters chicken, and it was lush, the staff were great, very sociable and helpful. I will be returning very shortly , And definitely around smash , as I've heard great views on there car very,

I've got to say never disappointed with Sunday carveys I attend most sundays and it's always spot on and piping hot maybe there was busy on that occasion as there do sell out pretty quick I generally go early on

Our Sunday carvery runs from 12, o'clock every Sunday..... due to us being busy from 12, we do however sell out very quickly, We are home cooked, 3 choices of meats, Mash, roasties, sprouts, cauliflower cheese, peas, carrots , parsnips, home made puddings.So I'd like to apologise that you wasn't happy on this occasion, But we do however state on our menus that carvery is 12-4pm Sorry to disappoint you Look forward to seeing you again P.S. The whole of December, due to Christmas, our carvery will be running every day, Till 4pm So why not call in the week. Xxxx
