The best restaurants in Hertford Scarborough Yorkshire and The Humber

Wow. Stayed in Hunmanby for a week and visited the pantry every day it was open (closed Sunday and Monday) - amazing cakes (egg custard, bakewells, frangipanis, tarts) delicious bread. Bought filled rolls for a picnic one day, great selection of fillings (Brie and grape, ploughman’s) and their coffee, even though from a machine (sorry to judge), was really delicious. Also bought rolls to fill with burgers from the nearby Wells butcher, which were also wonderful.

As strangers to the area we were made most welcome. The food & drink is excellent & so was the price. We will defo be returning on our next trip to Filey 😊

Cracking food nice parking for the motorhome

We had a lovely meal at the Piebald Inn in the dog friendly section with our dog Juni. Staff were really friendly and helpful with my intolerance. We had two of the pie packs ups after seeing the size of the pies coming out (you get half the pie with your meal and half to take home). We had the Moorland & Mountain and Campolina both vegetarian pies and both were lovely can't wait to finish them for lunch tomorrow! Will be back to try some more veggie pies off the menu.

We booked a table for 6 and thoroughly enjoyed the Christmas Fayre menu. Delicious food,excellent value and friendly,helpful staff. Can highly recommend this cosy traditional pub for food/drinks and friendly hospitality. We will definitely be back !

Old style local pub. Friendly landlord and friendly locals. Well worth a visit. Spent a few hours there as early for check-in at holiday cottage. No food served but that suited as time was spent promoting the local vibe.

love millie’s cookies, especially the cookie shakes which appear to be very popular there. they’re usually my go-to. the staff there are also very polite and friendly to talk to would definitely recommend

We went with another couple to The White Swan and we all agreed that it was absolutely delicious food , all homemade, and the two lovely waitress's that were serving on went above and beyond !! Can’t recommend it enough and we’ll definitely be going back again. Louise Hopwood

This pub is a little gem, made me and my partner very welcome the locals were lovely too, defintley coming back. Our staffy Rico got loads of cuddles, treats and water. He loved all the intention he got. The best pub in Hummanby.

New owner and the fish and chips were excellent. They were good before but now even better. Hot, crispy, cooked to order and big portions of both fish and chips. Chips were hot , crispy on the outside and fluffy in the middle. Scampi a good portion and tasty. More choice for the smaller eaters too. All served in boxes which also make it easier to eat outside. Cafe also available for those who want to eat in.
