New owner and the fish and chips were excellent. They were good before but now even better. Hot, crispy, cooked to order and big portions of both fish and chips. Chips were hot , crispy on the outside and fluffy in the middle. Scampi a good portion and tasty. More choice for the smaller eaters too. All served in boxes which also make it easier to eat outside. Cafe also available for those who want to eat in.

Visited this nice looking cafe for a spot of breakfast with my Partner as we thought it was nice looking. I will keep this short and sweet,the lady serving us from extremely rude and unprofessional and at one point told some customers to go outside as she brought there order out and then proceeded to gossip/slag them off to her “mates/friends/locals” in full view of other customers! Avoid this place at all costs as this lady should not be working in a customer service environment and the person who has employed her should be thoroughly ashamed of themselves!!!

9 Huntriss RowWe ate here on New Year's Eve. The food was exceptional. No atmosphere and staff were all coughing!!.... But 10/10 for the food

Newlands Rd ScarboroughFantastic pub, really lovely staff, and exceptional food which is home cooked and of great quality. A must visit if in the area!

5 Pickering RoadA typical English pub. We were warmly welcomed (as always). The food is good and the staff is friendly as always. The beer is also tasty. There is a covered and heated area in the yard for smokers. Dogs are very welcome. I can only recommend this pub. Unfortunately I won't be able to get there again until September.
