New owner and the fish and chips were excellent. They were good before but now even better. Hot, crispy, cooked to order and big portions of both fish and chips. Chips were hot , crispy on the outside and fluffy in the middle. Scampi a good portion and tasty. More choice for the smaller eaters too. All served in boxes which also make it easier to eat outside. Cafe also available for those who want to eat in.

4 HaggersgateVisit this pub 4 or 5 long weekends a year and spend 50 to 100 a visit! Visited over the bank holiday weekend, refused a loyalty card that we where willing to pay for(not had to purchase one before) just because we are not local, always had a loyalty card from the place before, left after that, will not return. Such a shame we loved the place.
