Black Swan in Scarborough

I had a lovely one night stay here. I was greeted in the bar by Alfie and shown to my room. The room was very spacious and equipped with a small fridge, microwave, tea and coffee making facilities as well as a pedestal fan and a hairdryer. Complementary toiletries were in the bathroom. The bed was super comfy! I spent a couple of hours in the bar. There was a good, but quiet atmosphere and I felt very welcome. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Lovely stay overnight, was able to store my bicycle safely too ! Most comfortable bed I've ever had, strong recommend

Just spent 2 days here with my partner. Great central location. Got a really cheap deal with a 2 bed apt with kitchen area. Landlord, pub staff and cleaner all very friendly and welcoming. Had a laugh on karaoke. Thanks guys. Would highly recommend

Pathetic customer service and response time to messages. Paid twice for my booking (through booking.com then again in person) and never received a refund for the second payment despite them claiming to have sent it.

Stayed here a few weeks ago for an overnight stay. Room was exceptionally clean and the staff were very welcoming! I will definitely book to stay here again.

Myself and my 2 daughters stayed 1 night. The rooms were lovely and clean, beds so comfortable, great little pub right in the middle of everthing. Owners and staff were great, nothing too much trouble. Just booked again for the weekend. Brilliant cheap and cheerful little pub x

Decent traditional back street pub in Scarborough free pool on Wednesday

Lovely rooms, great host, reasonable price. The only reason it didn’t get five was because the room wasn’t quite ready on time and the wall paper was hanging off in my room (8). Great selection of on demand TV though x

Me and my sister have just stayed here at the black swan and it is amazing. The location is perfect and the place is amazing and the staff are friendly and helpful. Will definitely be staying here again.

Been coming here for nearly 40years ... Always welcoming, Always friendly Now with real open fire.....

Lovely people but the room stunk of damp and poo, covered by bleach/cleaning products upon entering. Smell got worse through the evening/night.
